On top of a snow-capped mountain, a young man dressed in white looked quietly at the heroic man holding the sword in front of him. His face is beautiful but his lips bloodless, the slightly raised mouth full of mocking humor. The uplifted corner of his eye leaked endless ridicule, and the blood on his chest stained his clothes.

“You and I have known each other for more than a decade, going through untold dangers together. You're going to take my life for a person that you've only known for a few months?” He still could not believe that the sword of the person he regarded as his best friend would point towards him.

The man in front of the young man was stopped by the sight of his dark eyes full of hatred. He didn't know how to continue saying the battle line that he had originally prepared, only mumbling, “You killed Wan Er's whole family. I promised to help her take revenge."

That's right, those who kill others have to pay with their own lives. He didn't do anything wrong.

The beautiful young man laughed loudly. This person clearly knew that back then that cheap person's clan used dirty methods to wipe out his family clan. It goes without saying that he would kill them.

“I really regret meeting you." With strong unwillingness and remorse, the youth jumped off the top of the snowy mountain, ending his life.

“Ding. Acc.u.mulation/collection of power complete. Welcome Master to escape from the reincarnation cycle~” An animal that looked like a black cat jumped out of the dark and quiet s.p.a.ce. It respectfully looked at the youth who should have died.

The youth's appearance is a hundred times more beautiful than before, with concentrated eyes that you can't help but feel a sense of panic from when he stares at you..

“Jing Tian, have you recovered your ability?”

“Yes, Master, we can finally take revenge on the Laws of Heaven.” The black cat jumped to the chest of the young man, clinging tightly to him, enjoying the youth's gentle caress.

“Yeah, we can finally take revenge.” Heaven, are you ready for my revenge?

He was originally a secluded h.e.l.l flower borne by the River Styx .Formed due to the acc.u.mulation of millions and thousands worth of resentment of souls who were unresigned and suffering, but never able to gain relief. Yet he had no resentment towards the world, not to mention any desire to harm anyone.  Since the day that he formed consciousness, he devoted himself to cultivation, but he was not accepted by the heavens. Taking advantage of his weak state after just forming his human appearance, he was sent into the reincarnation cycle.

Lifetimes in the cycle of reincarnation where he did not get a peaceful end, or he dies betrayed by his dear friend who has drifted apart from him, or die slandered by others and fallen from grace (his reputation ruined). No matter how he struggles, he cannot break free from this whirlpool.

He thought it was his own grievances that was the cause, so he worked hard to do good deeds, but his good karma was seized and transferred by Heaven to Heaven's Darling (the ones who Heaven blesses). Each lifetime he lived a life worse than a pig or dog,  concluding in tragic death.

Thousands of reincarnations, thousands of tragic endings, he is no longer as ignorant and kind as he was originally. He will not let go of Heaven until he dies, and the darling of Heaven is his eternal enemy.

He was born in nothingness, with no name, so he used the first world of reincarnation's Gu Yunxi to call himself. The black cat is his companion pet, named Jing Tian.

Gu Yunxi's first life was in a highly developed future world. He was naive and filial to his parents. Yet he was sent by his parents into the laboratory and died on the surgical platform.

Lifetime after lifetime, Gu Yunxi finally understood Heaven's intentions. It is trying to whittle/wear down his soul through reincarnation, and let him completely disappear into the world as the nourishment of the darling of heaven.

The young man brought Jing Tian with him to the banks of the  River Styx. This place is forever a dark tract of land. Resounding everywhere are the repressed, suffering, and unreconciled wails.It is the Land of Exile abandoned by the Three Realms.

The banks of the River Styx are not governed by Heaven, he can do whatever he wants here without any concern.

He wants to take revenge against the heavens, but he is an existence that rejected by the heavens.He is also not acknowledged  by the laws of the world. He has absolutely no way to re-enter the cycle of reincarnation. Yet the ghosts along the river are different from him. They're the perfect choice for him to take revenge on the heavens.
