"Don't worry, this will be quick, as I would like to thank you for protecting my wife this past few days", Alexander said while he pointed his gun on Leila's forehead as he was in front of Leila and Emily right now .

Leila was struggling in her seat right now . She doesn't want to die yet! For her child and family, she wants to live!

Emily was also dumbfounded at the sudden turn of events and before Alexander pulled the trigger she hastily gets up on her chair and knocked Alexander's arms .

'Bang!'

Gunshot were heard inside this eerily quiet warehouse and a silence followed . It was unknown who is the first to react while they saw that Emily was falling and crimson blood were flowing at the right side of her head .

Leila couldn't believe her eyes as she didn't expect things to end up like this .

It was not only Leila that was devastated right now . Alexander quickly held Emily in his arms and tried to wake her up .

"Emily! Please! My wife open your eyes!!", Alexander shouted and a panic stricken expression were clearly written in his face .

"Please! Don't die on me! I-I didn't mean to . . . It wasn't supposed to be that way . . . . You! It was all your fault!", Alexander first said these words with a panic expression but after a while when his bloodshot eyes turned towards Leila . He felt raged and wants to kill her right away . Believing that it was supposed to be her in Emily's place .

Alexander gently put Emily down and he slowly went to Leila's place .

Leila frantically struggled in her seat wis.h.i.+ng that her seat would magically disappeared and she could get out of this place .

"It was your fault that my wife is in danger right now! It, was, all, your, fault!!", Alexander said every syllables furiously .

Leila was hoping against hope that somehow miracle would happen and someone will save her from this place .

'I'm sorry my child, mommy is too weak to save you', Leila said in her heart as she slowly closed her eyes .

'Bang! Bang! Bang!'

After the initial sound of explosion, gunshot were heard inside the whole warehouse which startled Alexander and his men .

"What the h.e.l.l happened!?", Alexander asked his men furiously .

But before his men could answer, the door of this storage area were opened and Nicolas squad quickly went inside and gunshot were heard in the four corners of the room . Fortunately, Leila were seated somewhere far from the door and almost at the corner .

Nicolas already saw her at the same time that he entered the room and so he hurriedly went to her side but he didn't expect that Alexander still had a fight in him even thought he was already shot in his abdomen and legs but before he could pull the trigger of his gun which is pointed towards Leila, a soldier suddenly grabs his hand and beats his head with the back of the soldier's gun which makes Alexander loses his consciousness .

Seeing that Alexander is still breathing the soldiers felt relieved as they couldn't kill Alexander or else h.e.l.l will break loose once the Vladimir Family founds out .

Nicolas hurriedly untied Leila's bindings and checked her body for any injuries .

"Are you alright Leila? Are there any place hurting right now?", Nicolas asked worriedly .

"I'm fine, but we need to save Emily now! She was shot due to saving me!", Leila said hurriedly as she walks to where Emily is, quickly .
