The prison which is located underground is huge and can detain a hundred people or more. The prison has five floors that detained the prisoners. Each level is divided as to how heinous the crimes of the criminals are but mostly, this place detained the criminals which had done the most heinous crimes.

The ground floor also known as level five which is known as the farthest level since it is an underground prison, the farther the level from the entrance is the more it will be difficult for the criminals to escape. Level five detained mostly the criminals which are psychopath that ma.s.sacred a hundred of people or more and also there are spies from other countries which the army captured are detained there as they were mostly are elite soldiers since they were picked by their own country to be a spy to another country.

The cells look like a simple room which has an area of ten square meters. The wall is made of concrete and has an automatic lock door which is made fully of steel. It also has a small bed and a simple latrine and sink on the side.

Connard is inside on one of the cells inside this prison. He is currently at the level five as he has ma.s.sacred a lot of people before.

His hands were chained. He is wearing orange clothes. And, he is currently sitting on his bed right now, staring blankly on the wall in front of him.

You might be wondering, he is a cunning b*st*rd but why did Nicolas' men captured him easily last time?

The reason is that, that time, back in Micah's house, before Karl's team came. He is quite busy feasting on Micah's body that time.

Micah couldn't do anything about it as her body is full of bruises already due to her resistance before. Now, she just let him do whatever he likes as she is exhausted already to fight back since nothing happened at all, as he is way too strong for her. But then, they heard someone ringing their doorbell downstairs.

Micah felt like her hope is rising and help is coming. Hopefully, she could finally get out of her predicament. And so, she tried kicking him out of the bed. But, before she could get up, he reached for her hair and dragged her back again. She struggled and decided to smash the picture frame on her bedside table as her lampshade had been taken out by Connard before.

That is the smas.h.i.+ng sound which Karl heard. She still struggled and ended up being slapped and beaten by him. When Connard heard that someone is trying to break the door downstairs, he hurriedly reached for his clothes and dress up.

Micah, with all the ounce of energy left on her, get up and tried reaching for the Swiss knife she saw inside his pocket. But, when she holds the knife, he saw it and started to reach for it also. And, as they were battling for the knife, Connard accidentally stab her on her stomach. In his surprised to what he did, he subconsciously kick her away and as she is near the bed, she ended up lying on it. Everything happened in a span of a minute.

Connard decided to escape through the window as he already heard the footsteps ascending upstairs.

As he didn't mean to stab Micah, his mind is in jumbles. He had killed a lot of people before but, he just brushed it off like it was nothing. But right now, as he saw Micah bleeding earlier, he doesn't know what he's feeling right now because he felt like he doesn't want her to die. He couldn't explain what he's feeling, is this what they called love?

As his mind is distracted and he just run off to wherever his feet leads him to, he made a wrong turn ending up in a dead end alley. He was just about to run back again but Karl's teammate catches up to him.

He is surrounded, walls were on his back and sides and the only way for him is obstructed by five a.s.sa.s.sins in front of him.

Of course, he fought with them but as he is outnumbered, he was beaten and somehow, someone injected him with tranquilizer and he lose consciousness.

And when he woke up, he is already in this cell, lying in his bed while his hands were handcuffed.

Back in the present time.....

Connard, which is staring blankly at the wall, is thinking about Micah. He's thinking if she is still alive and is recuperating somewhere.

He realized now that maybe, he is in love with her as he remembers what his comrades where talking about before about their wives. Like, they missed them and they couldn't bear to be part with them but, they have to do so, so that they could provide them for whatever they need.

In his curiosity, he asked them what is their feeling called, they said that its love when you couldn't part with them and you will do everything to be with them.

Right now, he's thinking that maybe he is in love with Micah as his body couldn't bear to be part with her (which is wrong bro, that's called l.u.s.t, pervert). He has a delusion that he is in love with her but, what he didn't realize is that, if he really love her, then why could he hurt her before that leaves bruises in her body, right?

These are the things that he doesn't realize but, he also doesn't know much about love as he doesn't fell in love before.

'Swish'

The opening of the automatic door pulls him out of his reverie. Two armed men came inside while the three others are outside. The men without saying anything just grabbed his shoulders and dragged him outside, taking him to level six which is in a sense is the level zero of this underground prison as it is like a bas.e.m.e.nt if you compared it with a normal building. Rarely someone knows about it as only authorized personnel could enter it.

Level six is a place where tortures are being conducted. It is mostly used to extract info from the spies coming from the other countries.

Connard is dragged in one of its chambers and he is put down and tied in an electric chair used for tortures.

A few minutes later, the door of the chamber opened and a man wearing a general's uniform which composed of a black long sleeve with badges, his four stars on his shoulder and his pin which indicates his name and military rank and black slack pants. As he is wearing his hat, Connard couldn't see his face clearly. But, when he did, he wasn't that surprise who that is, as he already deduced that this was all because of him.

The man has a handsome face with black hair and chestnut brown eyes that looked at him coldly.

"Long time no see Connard. Did you miss me?", Nicolas said mimicking Connard's tone of mockery before, as he smiled evilly at him.
