Today they went out to the beach resort for a picnic and swimming.

Arya did not enter the pool to swim since she's still on her periods and she doesn't feel like it. Instead she took care of the grilling of meat while she watched Ryu play with Reese in the pool.

"Hmmm, he would make a good father don't you think?" Her mom whispered teasingly when she noticed Arya smiled on her own while she watched Ryu who was playing with Reese in the water.

Reese was on Ryu's shoulders as they swirled around. She could hear Reese's laughter from afar.

Arya blushed crimson when she heard her mother's words…

"I bet he will. He's enjoying the company of the kid." Her mom continued.

Arya couldn't agree more with her mom. Even she noticed that most of Ryu's time was spent with either Reese or her dad. And the way he took care of Reese showed how he really cared for her. He will definitely be the most loving and caring father

Also Ryu keenly listened to her dad who adoringly narrated stories about his experiences or shared his opinions about various things.

Ryu was a perfect family man, he loved everyone and knew how to respect and take care of elders as well… A PERFECT HUSBAND.

As Arya trailed in her thoughts, her mother continued with her dreams…

"Soon you'll have babies of your own dear. You will also experience being a mother. This mom of yours is too excited to wait for that day. I am already so happy seeing you married to such a nice person now and I hope that success on marriage life no matter what happens would only remains in your world …" Arya's mom said slightly stammering as tears began to fall from her eyes.

"Oh I hate being dramatic…" Arya's mom murmured while she was wiping the tears that keep running out from her eyes.

"Mom, don't cry… Hushh," Arya said as she embraced her mom tightly and patted her back.

"It's just that I'm happy for you that you are in good hands. All I want for both you and Reese is to have a good life partner who is trustworthy and will treat my daughters well. I just want both of you to be happy always…" Arya's mom said still crying.

After a while she gently released herself from Arya's embrace and calmed herself down.

"Okay, enough with all these things, I want you to always remember just one important thing that whatever happens we are always here for you to support you in any way dear," Arya's mom continued as she blinked and then wiped the remaining tears from her eyes seeing Ryu and Reese walking towards them.

Arya's mom gave some snack to him and her husband. Ryu noticed how close and affectionate they are to each other as he saw his mother-in-law kissed and hugged his father in law before she walked towards the beach together with Reese and Arya.

He couldn't help but compare because he never saw his parents being affectionate with each other like Arya's dad and mom. Maybe because theirs was an arranged marriage and probably they were not emotionally attached to each other as expected of a loving couple.

Then suddenly his thoughts drifted to his Uncle Alex, the eldest in the family who abruptly outcast himself ever since grandfather decided for him to be the one to take over the position of the CEO of their empire.

It felt like that the KEN Family was broken with that decision. Uncle Alex was giving them a hard time even in business related matters now; he was not being professional and was giving him a lot of headaches lately.

Ryu was trying hard to consider their family bond despite the unprofessionalism but he doesn't know how long his patience could last.

Ryu sighed deeply and chose to keep aside the problem about his Uncle for the meantime. He and his father in law were drinking beer while they sat on beach chairs beside each other.

They both watched Arya running together with Reese and her mother. They were running and chasing each other in circles and having fun.

"Father your family bonding is really impressive. I mean you have that close emotional ties with each other which I really admire." Ryu suddenly said with a down and melancholic tone.

Ryu heard his father in law inhaled and exhaled loudly.

"A family doesn't need to be perfect; there will always be ups and downs, misunderstandings and trials. However, all you need to do is to just stay united to surpa.s.s everything." Father in law said as he stared to his family playing around from a distance.

Then he continued, "For me, my greatest a.s.set is my children and my wife. It's not about being a good father or a good husband but its only just being connected to your family as much as possible."

Ryu agreed in silence. During his stay with Arya's family, he had learned a lot from his father-in-law and he was sure to apply the same in his married life and not just forget easily by taking his words as random and light.

" Ryu, I can see your sincerity towards my daughter and I trust you will do well son. Do you know what is the greatest gift that you can give to your family? It's a healthy you. So even if your work is hard or very tiring make sure you take care of yourself. Anyway, maybe I don't need to remind you that since Arya will surely take good care of you." Ryu's father-in-law said as he turned around to smile at Ryu.

Ryu also smiled and then turned to look at Arya who was smiling brightly.

Arya and he have plenty of time to discover each other more and do things together.

There are a lot of things they did not know about each other. He was quite sure that they won't have that perfect marriage like few people. However, he was grateful that they will have a lot of support from their families as they begin their journey as husband and wife.

"Oh yeah right before I forget, can you convince Arya to visit a doctor. It's her phobia with animals. Although it's not that serious, but she's quite afraid of dogs and cats. We tried to bring her to doctor before also but she hates it and will often refuse and says a lot of alibis just to postpone it" His father in law suddenly mentioned.

"Yeah I will father. I've noticed that since I also have a dog right now in my house and she practically runs away from it," Ryu said laughing as he recalled the scene of Arya running away from Ar-Ar.
