They had arrived in the province early in the morning.

Although Arya had called beforehand to inform her parents that she will arrive today, she had not mentioned that she will be with Ryu. Therefore, her parents were surprised to see Ryu along with her.

Her parents welcomed them both and Ryu greeted Arya's parents like a boy next door. Because Arya's father had once seen Ryu during his court trial he recognized him immediately and looked at Arya in confusion.

Arya asked Ryu to wait in the living area and she walked with her parents to the study room to talk with them alone at first.

Reese who was still yawning because she woke up early was looking with a questioning gaze at Ryu. She walked towards the living area and stared at Ryu who sat on the couch. She creased her forehead as she approached him.

"h.e.l.lo there, I saw my Big Sis talking to mom and dad but they shooed me away. Anyway, are you my big sis' boyfriend? I bet you are because you are handsome," Reese said chuckling as she stood in front of him.

Ryu smiled and winked at the cute little girl and said, "Come here. You're Reese right? I'm your brother-in-law now since your sister and I are married and I'm your Big Sis' husband already. You can call me Big Bro and also treat me like one."

Reese followed and sat beside Ryu with her wide eyes staring at him intently.

"When did she marry? Why we did not attend that wedding? Big Sis promised me that I will be her maid of honor once she marries!" Reese exclaimed while she pouted her lips.

Ryu laughed and said, "Yes you will still be the maid of honor of course. We will have a grand wedding soon so don't worry okay? You will be the cutest maid of honor on that day."

Ryu winked as he gently pinch Reese's nose.

"Wait, we don't know much about you yet. I have only seen you today. Yes you are handsome but you have to be kind and loving also because if not I will tell Big Sis not to marry you. My Big Sis always listens to me you know…" Reese said as she crossed her arms and looked intently at Ryu as if she was threatening him.

Ryu was suppressing his laughter so hard because Arya's sister was so charming and acting up like an older one protecting a younger sister.

He maintained his serious looking face as he saluted Reese and said, "Yes mam, I promise that I will make your Big Sis the happiest woman in the world. Don't worry, I'm not only handsome but I guess I am a little kind and a little more loving as well. And dearest sister Reese I love your Big Sis too much."

Reese, still with her arms crossed added, "Okay, how much do you love my big sis?"

Ryu smiled lovingly at the cute girl and said, "I don't know how much I love your Big Sis because my love for her is immeasurable."

That time Arya was with her parents who was about to approach Ryu but paused seeing his serious conversation with Reese.

Arya explained her parents about the sequence of events that happened between her and Ryu and also that they are both married now and after a small talk between her parents and her, she came out giving some time for her parents to absorb in the situation.

She was coming to Ryu when she saw Ryu and Reese talking to each other. Arya's eyes welled up with tears when she heard those words from Ryu. She felt that her heart will burst at that moment out of happiness.

Arya's parents also soon followed her and even they heard the last lines of Ryu. They looked at each other; both were pleased because they could feel the sincerity of Ryu's words even though he was just talking with a kid.

Arya's father felt guilty at the same time because he knew the whole story and if it will be summarized all happened because of his stupidity and ignorance.

Her wife who was looking at him held his hand and pressed it as she smiled at him, giving rea.s.surance. She knew what was her husband was thinking just by reading his expression that moment.

Then she whispered, "Everything happens for a reason right? You are the one who always tells that to the kids, see this is exactly what has happened here. All that happened with you and the contrat that Arya signed with Rita all became reasons for your daughter to meet her happiness. She met that someone who will be her other half and will be beside her in facing all ups and downs in life ahead."

Arya's father sigh as he coughed to announced their presence.

"Big Sis!" Reese excitedly ran towards Arya who quickly wiped her tears and curved her lips with a wide smile as she opened her arms to receive Reese and carry her.

"Wow, you're heavy already. Hmm looks like you behaved like a good girl while I was away and eating well." Arya said while she gave Reese their nose to nose kiss.

"Big Sis I met your husband and he said I will be the maid of honor for your wedding soon. I'm excited already. I also want to marry a handsome man like big broonce I grow up," Reese said dreamingly.

"Yes of course, a handsome man not only outside but most importantly inside." Arya said laughing as she saw Reese creased her forehead with a confused expression.

"Okay enough with that because you're still young. You have to study first and finish schooling before thinking about all this stuff? Okay?" Arya said smiling as she raised her hand for a thumb up which Reese copied happily.

Ryu on the other hand stood up as soon as he heard Mr. Tan's cough and greeted Arya's parents.

Mr. Tan nodded and gestured at Ryu to go back to his seat as he and his wife sat to face Ryu. Meanwhile, Arya sat beside Ryu while she still held Reese in her arms.

Ryu felt nervous but gathered his confident to speak.

He was about to say his piece when Arya's father suddenly spoke, "Arya told us everything and we were also aware about what had happened between you two. Our family would like to apologize because we are the reason, me in particular, is at fault on what happened with you."

Ryu quickly interrupted and said, "Sir, please do not say that. I'm grateful for all the things that took place because that was the reason I met with Arya and all those things made the way for me to meet and have your daughter as my wife. If only you knew how lucky I felt right now."

Arya's mom smiled and joined the conversation.

"You are part of our family now son so you may call us mother and father or you may call us like Arya calls us Mom and Dad. And right, Arya told us that both of you will stay for a week in here so please feel at home."

"You guys have travelled for long hours so rest a little while your mom prepares breakfast for all of us." Arya's father said.

However, Reese interrupted and said, "Stay here Big Bro and play with me instead." She quickly pounced at Ryu and jumped away from Arya's arms.
