Ryu smiled and said, "That's for you." He stood up to get the ring and walked to Arya who also stood up and suddenly slapped her face.

"Ouch, that hurts." He heard her murmured. Ryu who was caught off guard with her childish action laughed out of the blue.

"You are not dreaming okay so stop that already," Ryu spoke still chuckling.

Then he took her hand and wore the ring on her finger. "It fits you well." He said smiling lovingly at her.

Arya who just went back to reality after being on the cloud nine and out of herself for a minute said, "I can't accept this. It's too much."

She was about to remove the ring but Ryu stopped her. "Will you stop exaggerating? Nothing was too much for you. That ring is my mark. I'm marking you as mine, never take it off okay or I will be really angry."

He was looking intently on her eyes, it was a look of warning and Arya suddenly felt like burying herself under the ground would be much better at that moment. Then she heard him said, "This ring was considered to be our engagement ring so whoever saw this on you will know that you are already taken."

Arya was looking at the ring on her hand that was still held by Ryu. "Isn't this a little bit early? You barely know me. I told you not to get so serious." She murmured.

Ryu frowned, "Stop it already. I told you I hate delays and we are already on the process of knowing each other. Is there something that's bothering you? You keep on saying those nonsense words."

Arya bowed her head slightly, she was at loss. She wanted to tell him everything but she can't find the words out from her mouth. It seemed so hard to talk.

Ryu held her chin to raise her head and to see her beautiful face. Arya was suppressing the tears that wanted to flow out from her eyes. She quickly kissed Ryu on his lips. It was a very deep kiss that left Ryu gasping for air and then she hugged him tightly.

She wanted and tried to speak but it was really hard to release the words. So in the end, she only got to say, "Nothing's wrong I am just really happy right now. I just hope that I won't disappoint you in the end so remember not to give your all or invest too much on me because it will be burdensome if we end tragically or in failure later."

Ryu laughed and commented during the hug, "Miss Arya Tan why are so pessimistic on things? Don't think too much of the future and let's just make the best out of our current situation right now. Do you know the idiom -'CROSS THAT BRIDGE WHEN WE GET THERE?- Why don't we just do that instead okay?"

Arya sighed as she felt Ryu held her tightly on his embrace.

"Alright, let's do that then." she replied on a low feeble voice.

Ryu wanted to drop her off to her apartment but Arya wanted to go directly to the hospital so she just told him that his dad had arranged for her pick-up already. But in reality, it was Rita who arranged it.

So Ryu just walked her to the car that was already waiting for her. She was about to get inside when Ryu swiftly pulled her for a peck kiss on her lips and quick hug. "Why do you always forget the proper way to exit when you're with me?"

Arya just smiled at him blus.h.i.+ngly and said, "Sorry, I'll make sure to remember next time."

Rita was sitting at the front pa.s.senger seat of the tinted car and was looking at them. Then she sighed and shook her head as she observed the two lovebirds. Her Boss was so shrewd.

She also wondered how everything will end up but right now her job was to execute things perfectly and make sure Ryu Ken will crumble emotionally. She doesn't know if doing this was justifiable – she was also confused but no matter what she will only side to the Boss whom she owed everything, her life and future.

"I supposed we can execute the plan perfectly in just a short span of time," Rita commented when Arya was already inside the car. Arya remained quiet.

"Go to the hospital." Rita instructed the driver.

"Here's the key and pa.s.sword to your apartment. Your mom helped to pack all your stuffs which we already transferred there. I will just remind you regarding the contract. I hope you won't violate any of it because I a.s.sure you now, the boss was a cruel person – it's not that I am scaring you but it was a fact. The Boss doesn't want to be cheated and all people who did that end up tragically. But don't worry, the contract was honoured. Once you perfectly executed the plan as agreed, we will free you and let you go unscratched."

Arya's face paled. She was not fully aware about it. She thought it was just a simple task. Rita's words were determined, it was a warning and she was not dumb not to get what she was saying. It was more like her life was on the line right now.
