"Ahhh," she shouted in high pitch note as she buried her face on the pillow.

It's been days already since that incident and she hid herself inside her room most of the time. The scene kept on replaying inside her head every now and then.

She was so embarra.s.sed that she will unknowingly snarl to herself.

She was accused of hara.s.sment and attempted r*ape by Shawn. That was his last words before she ran away from him.

She almost kissed her manager for saving her in time when she buzzed the door so she quickly stood up and ran outside the door without saying a thing.

Yes she was shameless at most of the time but this time it's different. She acted funny and so guilty by running away like that. She also turned off her phone after that and as soon as she opened it today an unexpected message came.

It was Mr. Lee inviting her for dinner…

She should come up with a better alibi for that stupid stolen kiss she did. Her brain was spinning around; she did not know how to actually face Shawn after what happened.

She quickly got up to prepare. She made sure that she looked perfect. But somehow, she was still embarra.s.sed to see Shawn.

But she should not act like this. No matter what, she must keep her head up high. It's not like she did a crime so que sera sera as they say it…

Denise inhaled and exhaled loudly to release her nervousness before she entered the Lee's house. She should act natural.

Inside, the butler guided her at the living are first since she arrived earlier. Mr. Lee greeted her there and said, "Shawn is not here yet here but feel free to roam around while I check the dinner child."

Denise smiled at the Old Man. He was in a motorized wheelchair.

'This old man, why won't he just stop and enjoy life instead…' She couldn't help but comment silently.

On her way to the Lee's mansion she actually received a call from Dean.

He wanted to meet in person to tell her the results and ask her for another favor but then she told him that she was on her way to the Lee's Mansion so Dean discussed everything to her on the phone instead.

She knew it. She was right. Shawn and Ryu were real brothers and that motivated her more. She should help the Kens, her Big Bro Ryu, on things like this.

And Shawn, that man was so pitiful that she wanted to help him in every possible way that she could. She must help him to choose the right path.

She walked around the house and inspected everything very carefully. She wanted to try if she could find anything suspicious at all or any thing that maybe of help for the Kens.

She loved this kind of things, the suspense. She saw Mr. Lee in the kitchen instructing the cooks.

"Uncle Lee, is it okay if I walk around the mansion? I mean explore the whole area while waiting? Or if there's…"

Denise was cut-off by Mr. Lee as he said, "Of course dear… Please feel free… Treat it as your home. We are family now."

Denise faked a smile to the Old Man before she left. 'This man is good in acting...' she thought silently.

Meanwhile, Old Man Skull arched an eyebrow at Denise as soon as she walked out. It's safe since all important rooms were locked so the girl couldn't check it even his room was locked and he doubt she would try to enter because it's not proper.

The Lee's mansion was weird there's so many rooms and most were locked.

'Hmm where would be Shawn's room?' she thought naughtily but then shook her head. What was she thinking? She was getting worst lately.

She went to the last room and opened it. It was not locked so she entered. The room was slightly dim since it's almost dark.

But she could still see the insides. It's seems to have a familiar scent? It was Shawn's scent. So she a.s.sumed it was Shawn's room and she confirmed it when she looked at the picture frame displayed on the table.

'The heck is wrong with me entering someone's room like this.' She quickly put down the picture frame and was about to go out quickly but she heard the sound of the latch so she panicked and hid herself under the table.

There's someone who entered then the lights opened. She wanted to hit her head for her stupidity.

After a few seconds, there's a knock and the she heard an Old Man speaks, "Denise is here because I invited her to dinner. Make sure you treat her well. I will open the marriage date later to her…"

"Shawn, don't mess it up! It's just an arranged marriage so try to be nice to her! After we got what we need then you can dump her whenever you want! But right now do your best to please her and her family!" Old Man Skull hissed.

Shawn did not respond at all. He was too tired to argue so he let the Old Man talked while he just nodded.

Denise wanted to laugh out hard. How dare that Old Man used her family. She should warn her dad as soon as possible but he will forbid her to meet Shawn and he will definitely cancel the engagement.

She should wait more until her mission was complete so for now she will keep it a secret to her dad.

Besides, she knew her dad. He was a good business man and someone that could not be tricked easily so she was sure he wouldn't trust Mr. Lee fully yet unless she was already married to Shawn and a part of the Lee Family.

She sighed; the lights went off and the door closed so she was sure that the two left already. She quickly stood up and walked towards the door but then she heard Shawn's voice form the corner near the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" he said. He was standing there, his side leaned on the wall while his arms were crossed; it was as if he was expecting her there.
