Digging out Shawn's past led them to a more tragic story that Ryu wasn't aware of. But the hard part for him was if he should tell his mom and dad the matter about Shawn.

His parents recently cleared their misunderstanding according to Butler Omni and that explained why he noticed the sudden changes between the two and it was something good.

They looked more like how normal couple's in love should be and he was happy seeing them like that.

"There's one way to find out... to confirm everything..." Ryu said in a low tone.

He had mixed emotions... His eyes reflected pity, fury, distress and abashment...

Dean and Chen dug out everything from scratch but as the saying goes... 'There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.'

He couldn't believe how things were all connected, from his grandfather's past and now his mother.

Everything was too complicated right now and he needed to confirm one thing first. Unless, he confirmed that matter, he will keep out this matter from his parents for now.

After instructing Dean and Chen what to do next, Ryu cancelled all his appointments to go home directly.

Inside the car, he shook his head then he ma.s.saged his temple. He was sure that his grandfather knew about it already because according to Chen, they were not the first who gathered all information about Shawn's past.

He's grandfather was really something... He lives up to his name but he couldn't understand him most of the time. It was like he always wanted to test him. No, it's probably still part of his training.

Ryu sigh, being a Ken was not simple at all. He should do his best to set things straight and protect his family no matter what happens. He will not disappoint his grandfather and his trust to him.

Whoever will dare to bring their family down and destroy it will have to face the consequences and he will make sure of that...

As soon as Ryu arrived in the mansion, the first thing he did was to look for his mother. He wanted to hug her tight and told her how proud he was for being her son.

"Oh you're back early?" Cecile gasped when Ryu suddenly hugged her tight as soon as he saw her. Though startled she smiled and hugged him back.

"Oh what's wrong dear?" Cecile asked as she patted her son's back. It's been a long time since she last received such kind of hug from Ryu and it's not like him.

"Son, what's wrong? Do you have any problem? Are you sick or not feeling well?" She continued to ask as she gently pushed away Ryu from her to look at him closely. She was starting to get worried.

"Wait? Are you crying?" Cecile asked when she saw Ryu's almost misty eyes.

Ryu was trying his best not to let his tears fall and smiled at his mother.

"Nothing mom, I'm just so proud and happy your my mom and that I'm your son. No matter what, for me you are the best mom and I love you so much..." he said and hugged his mom once more.

Cecile smiled and said in a jest, "Hmm having a wife is a good thing. You're becoming showy my son. I want you to know that I'm also proud of you. You gave me strength during those times that I wanted to give up. You are the best thing that ever happened to me..."

"Now, go to your wife. She's so busy in the kitchen and in the garden before. I'm sure she's quite tired and resting in your room. By the way, I will handle your wedding ceremony so you two talk which date you wanted to do it and tell me." Cecile said smiling as she pushed Ryu to go to their room.

Her eyes saddened as she watched Ryu's back. If only that child lives, Ryu would not be alone right now. He could have an older brother. A brother he could ask for help and someone he could lean on during his tough days.

How happy she could be having two sons around her.

Cecile sighed... It's her fault that the child died. She's too weak.

That time, the Go Family helped her to find a good place where she could be alone and cope with her lost and grieved on Aldrin's death. Everything went well for a month until one day she pa.s.sed out unexpectedly.

She did not even notice the changes in her body but the doctor said she was four weeks pregnant.

She was so confused that time with the sudden news. Confused whether to keep the baby or not. But she chose to keep the baby.

She had a hard time during those days. She couldn't even tell her family her condition and she suffered so much distress emotionally while she was pregnant.

Mr. Go offered helped and a.s.sisted her with everything she needed.

She stayed in the hospital for months and Mr. Go got her a personal aid. She had a hard time during pregnancy that a psychiatrist also attended to her so she could overcome her emotional distress.

She was molested and the worst part was being pregnant that she did not even know who the father is... Her dilemma worsened because of that nightmare that kept on hunting her for months. She often had sleepless nights and it affected the health of the baby.

Although she was on a very delicate condition because she was not stable emotionally, she tried her best to fight it for the child's sake. She knew it's not the child fault so she fought hard to keep the baby inside of her live.

That baby boy was strong too and kept on fighting to live inside her stomach...

Cecile smiled at the thought of how strong that child could be if he was alive... She was sure he'll be a good fighter...
