Shawn sighed and raised his hand that was still held by Denise.

"Would you like to accompany and help me also inside the rest room?" he asked with an exasperated tone.

"Would you like me to? I'm willing to help if you want." Denise answered with her provoking tone.

Then she smiled at him and winked. Shawn crumpled his face and abruptly pulled his hand.

"Careful darling… watch your steps and open that narrowed eyes to avoid tripping," she added laughing.

'Did he cut his tongue off? Should I be alarmed with that silence?' she murmured.

As weird as it may be, but she really didn't feel a bit scary even though Arya had called her and informed her that the Lee Family was the Masters of the underworld.

Instead, she felt the other way around – SAFE with Shawn. That was her gut feeling which she usually trusts.

When Shawn returned, Denise quickly grabbed his hand and said, "Wait, did you wash your hand?"

She was teasing him as usual because she loved to see how he frowned every time she'll joke around him.

Shawn looked at her with narrowed eyes, "If you keep on annoying me, you will not like what I'll do to you."

"Woah! Mr. Villain is threatening me and I'm so scared right now…" Denise said half smiling while she wiggled her body to reenact her scary look jokingly.

Shawn pursed his lips. He was running out of patient so before Denise could speak another words, with his hand that quickly touched her nape, he unexpectedly pulled Denise to kiss her.

Denise was caught off guard. Her eyes were opened wide. She tried to push him when she felt Shawn bit her lower lip.

"Ouch…" she snapped.

Shawn leaned to her ear and whispered, "If you tried to annoy me once more and do something during the interview that I will not like, you'll receive the same kiss twice. So if you intentionally continue the teasing, I will think that you really like me kissing you over and over again…"

Denise stiffened and remained quiet for seconds.

Shawn sneered at the thought that he finally will be at peace but to his surprise, Denise held his chin with her palm and smiled at him while she wiped her lipstick that got smudge on Shawn's lips.

Then she looked at him intently and murmured, "Mr. Villain, I'm not sure if you did your homework well but you have threatened the wrong person. I think I'm the pervert type so I wouldn't mind you kissing me over and over again."

Then she leaned over his ear like he did before and whispered, "It's actually a great lesson for me. I'll think of it as a kissing training… Teach me to kiss like an expert so I can apply that in the future. By the way, Denver is now walking towards us so behave well Mr. Villain… Remember, you need a very good image to bring down the Ken Family. That's a tough war you got so if I were you try being nice with this lady. I'm sure you know well my worth..."

Shawn's face darkened. This was the first time he was degraded like this and by a woman that made it worst. He was not shocked if Denise knew everything about him because she was a close friend to Ryu and Arya.

"Oh are you guys ready? We will continue with few more questions. I will start now because as I see it, you guys can't wait to leave me as soon as possible." Denver commented in a jest because he witnessed from a distance how the two kissed.

He sat and started to ask...

8. What's been the most difficult detail of your wedding to agree upon?

Denise: "When to have the wedding. I wanted to have the wedding later and wait still, and he wanted to do it right away."

"Well who wouldn't want to hurry up and bind the gorgeous Denise Ming." Denver complimented her with sincerity.

Shawn wanted to choke at that moment. She made the script purely on her favor. He will let it slide for now but after this interview he will make sure that this woman must know where her right place was.

He was not someone who had enough time to play games with her and suit her childish experiments.

Shawn: "Yeah the date. We have been bickering about when to have the wedding since we started dating. It seems like she wants plenty of time to plan an elaborate event."

Denise added as she stared closely to Shawn's eyes without blinking, "The truth was I eventually gave in because in the end, as long as I am with him, it doesn't matter when or where we get married!"

Shawn suddenly felt weird. His heartbeat raced abnormally. He knew that she wasn't serious when she said those words but something inside of him felt happy hearing those words.

How nice it would be to have someone who seemed eager to be with him, someone who would not leave him and someone who will stay with him no matter what… Someone who will not abandon him like he was an unwanted person…

But he knew that it was all his wishful thinking because in reality Denise will never stay by his side. No one would really want someone like him, not even her… the pain of reality crossed his eyes and Denise had noticed that…

'This is probably what her sis Arya told her before, that sadness and pain in his eyes that sis Arya mentioned.' She thought silently as Denise clearly saw that wither own eyes.

However, Shawn immediately hid it by smiling to Denver. That smile would look charming to others but to Denise, who seemed to read Shawn well, knew that it was a façade.

Denise did not know why but her interest was awakened. She wanted to know what was behind that mask. She was curious to know what that sadness and pain was behind those beautiful eyes.

Her big bro Ryu was updating her about Shawn Lee because he was concerned about her. So she knew Shawn's past that he was an adopted child. She was interested to know his past.

Maybe Mr. Villain was really not that bad as her sis Arya believed. Maybe he needed someone he could open with and maybe she could help him somehow… to help him straightened up with doing wrong things… to stop him with messing up with her friends…
