Then they heard the dealer announced…

Dealer: "With this chips exchange it means we enter the phase of final game which means no more buyers. The big blinds' is now one million dollar. Two players…"

Cards [ace of heart, eight of spade, eight of flower, eight of heart]

Dealer: "Mr. Lee?"

Mr. Lee: "Check…"

Dealer: "Mr. Ken?"

Ryu: "Check…"

Dealer: "Two players all check"

Then the dealer opened another card to add which was ace of spade…

Mr. Lee: "5 million…"

Dealer: "Bet 5 million"

Denise and Arya both gulped when they heard Mr. Lee bet 5 million dollars. Ryu on the other hand, stared directly to Mr. Lee with his expressionless face…

Then after seconds had pa.s.sed he spoke.

Ryu: "10 million"

The crowd gasped when they heard Ryu.

Dealer: "Bet 10 million"

Mr. Lee smirked and said, "I like you child… Very confident…" He arranged his chips and placed it on the center.

Mr. Lee: "Raise…"

Dealer: "Raise 20 million…"

Arya looked at Ryu. He was so calm and still expressionless. Someone who was hard to read at that moment…

"Sis, that's a lot of money. Geez these rich people gambling as if it's nothing," Denise commented while she pouted her lips.

Ryu: "30 million all in!"

The crowds all gasped then they all looked on Mr. Lee while they waited what will be the Old Man's answer. Mr. Lee became gloomy that time. The old man peeked on his cards and looked at Ryu intently then s.h.i.+fted his gaze at the river cards.

Mr. Lee placed everything he had at the center and said, "Call."

Dealer: "Gentlemen, showdown please…"

River's Cards [ace of heart, eight of spade, eight of flower, eight of heart, ace of spade]

Mr. Lee smiled and showed his cards of six of heart and ace of spade.

Dealer: "Full house, ace of full of sixes…"

Current Cards [ace of heart, ace of flower, six of spade, six of heart, ace of spade]

Crowds were astonished; Arya felt that it's a good thing for Mr. Lee since he was smiling at Ryu with mockery.

She felt so tense and looked at her husband who was still expressionless. Then she saw him arched an eyebrow as he looked as his cards.

Dealer: "Mr. Ken?"

Ryu dragged his cards at the center while he stared closely to Mr. Lee who was still smiling. Then he flipped and showed his cards.

The crowd gasped as they saw Ryu's cards. Five of spade and seven of spade.

Then they were all clapping while Arya and Denise looked at each other.

"Did he win?" Arya asked to Denise who just shrugged her shoulders.

Dealer: "Five and Seven of Spades. Straight flash, four three eight the high hand…"

Ryu smiled and said, "Looks like you have the tendency to a.s.sume victory easily Mr. Lee…"

Mr. Lee whose face paled quickly recovered and still managed to smile back at Ryu.

"Mr. Ken, it's my pleasure to finally meet you in person and having this opportunity to play together is really an honour. I can see the Old Ken in you. You're very much like him in so many ways." Mr. Lee said with a heavy and meaningful tone.

'It seemed like Ryu Ken was really a hard opponent. He's unpredictable at all.' Mr. Lee thought silently. Watching Ryu Ken played was a good thing but somehow he felt somewhat threatened.

He was very calm and expressionless during the game. Even though they exchanges heavy words, he was still unreadable.

Ryu's eyebrows furrowed and said, "You know my grandpa?"

Mr. Lee let out a loud laughed. Then he stopped and looked Ryu in the eye.

"I know him very well more than you know him child. Why don't you ask him about me? Tell him that Old Man Skull is antic.i.p.ating to see him once more. It's been a long time already and I'm sure by this time he knew I'm back and very well alive…" Arya noticed the pain in the Old Man's eyes and the bitterness of his words was very obvious too.

With Mr. Lee's words, Ryu had confirmed that everything that was going on between SL Group and their Group was not just about business fights but more on a personal grudge of Mr. Lee to his grandfather.

But, the thing that was bothering him was how was it related to him at all because he was targeted first and to think that he was trying to be attacked by emotionally. He doesn't see any rationality for that kind of plan.

Both parties were civilized and Ryu left the area with the girls safely, not that he wasn't prepared at all because he still have his securities with them all this time; all were disguised as traveller too.

He knew that SL Group operates the underworld so he must not let his guard down at all, both him and Dean to be precised. Since the latter had Rita, who was their Key Role and brain.

Ryu brought the girls in the heart of the city, the Monte Carlo Pavilions in Boulingrins Gardens for shopping.

It's a shopping center of five contemporary white curvy s.p.a.ces houses with twenty luxury shops ranging from Chanel to Saint Laurent.

"Go and shop anything you want, both of you… I will wait here and discuss some important business matters…" Ryu said smiling. Arya understood what he meant and nodded.

She quickly pulled Denise to roam and shop.

"Ohh I'm so lucky. Hahaha. We should ask Big Bro to play more so we can shop more…" Denise blurted out while she fitted the dress Arya picked for her.

It was really nice to have a sister to hang-out with like this. Unfortunately, she had none but now she's blessed.

"That, looks good on you sis. Let's get that." Arya said and quickly pick another.

"Here try this. It's the same design as mine, like we're twins."Arya added laughing. She too was enjoying because Denise was a funny person and they both have many similarities.

Then they also went to the "Carré d'Or" area (between Hotel Hermitage and Monte-Carlo Casino) that includes Place du Casino and Avenue Monte-Carlo, home to numerous jewellers and stores such as Hermes and Prada.

"This looks good on us. I will buy this for us as friends.h.i.+p gift," Arya excitedly said while she fitted the bracelet with the same design to Denise.

Denise felt so happy that she was almost crying. She was the emotional type who easily cried on simple things.

"Hey stop it why are you crying. They might think I'm bullying you." Arya said jokingly as she patted Denise on her back.

"No, I'm just happy but I must insist to pay for your bracelet okay? You give me this and let me give that one to you." Denise said while she was wiping her tears.

Arya laughed and said, "Okay, you pay for my bracelet then and I won't resist. Haha."

Then both girls laughed and walked back happily holding hands where they left Ryu.
