Chapter 16

After seeing the Advertis.e.m.e.nt Illusory Card at the Double Hoops store, Chen Mu started to lose interest in the other Illusory Cards. He was quietly confused. There were some stores, whose scale were somewhat similar to that one, but why was  their Advertis.e.m.e.nt Illusory Card so different from the others?

However, Chen Mu had gained lots this time. At least, he now knew what a true advertis.e.m.e.nt Illusory Card was like. In his eyes, using the body of those beauties to advertise, couldn't be considered the standard of an Advertis.e.m.e.nt Illusory Card.

His knowledge had increased. But reality sure was cruel.

Even till now, Chen Mu could never have made an advertis.e.m.e.nt Illusory Card that could have come any close to this quality. But he still wanted to make one for Uncle Hua. Of course, it would not be one of those with the beauties on it.

Taking a stroll around, Chen Mu had already finished creating the general design for Uncle Hua's advertis.e.m.e.nt in his mind. The remaining problem was how to create it.  Generally, it would require around three days to complete.

………………………………………………………..

" TingYi " A series of loud sounds echoed behind Zuo TingYi. He stopped and turned around. There he saw a st.u.r.dy young man rus.h.i.+ng toward him.   This was HongTao, Zuo TingYi's best friend.

"Haha, someone like you could be caught by me!" Hong Tao suddenly strode ahead and used his hands to hug Zuo TingYi by the neck.

The tall and skinny Zuo Ting Yi was staggeringly pulled forward.

"Careful! Pay  more attention to the image." Zuo Ting Yi frowned and muttered.

Hong Tao, who couldn't be more careless, and said, "Forget it, the image is nothing, you are just a hypocrite, just one word, FAKE!"

Hong Tao was about one tchi eight high; his body was st.u.r.dy. Wearing a tight uniform, he was still good looking and cheerful. His face always flashed a smile. In this school, he was the most superior. His good-temper and bold characteristics were also parts of what had made him the most prominent person in school.

Compared to the one next to him, Zuo TingYi's body was quite weak.  Anyhow, his fine uniform made him look gentle and stylish.  The only thing that the Card Creators had was their gracious auras.  He was even more famous to the female disciples than Hong Tao.

"One of the ninety-one regulations of DongWei Inst.i.tution; at public places, a disciple needs to pay attention to their image."

"The sixtieth rule, regarding the dress codes in DongWei Inst.i.tution, when attending cla.s.ses, disciples need to wear a proper and clean uniform. Regarding especially the collar, it needed to be b.u.t.toned up…"

Zuo TingYi stood straight. Then swiped his uniform. With an expressionless face, he looked straight at Hong Dao's collar, which hadn't been b.u.t.toned up yet. TingYi didn't stop pestering him at all.

"Alright, alright, I give up!" Hong Dao hastily asked for mercy. Since Zuo TingYi partic.i.p.ated in the inst.i.tution's Discipline Board, he had immediately become the first disciple in the history of the whole inst.i.tution to remember by heart the entire seven hundred and twenty-two rules.  Though he wasn't scared of getting dragged before the Disciple Board. He was just scared of TingYi's constant nagging.

"Hey, look, isn't that XinYi?" Hong Dao instantly changed the story.

Nearby, There was a girl with a light pink hair clip. She was holding an ice cream cone in one hand, and a colorful magazine in the other. There were two puppies behind her, one big and one small.

Zuo TingYi recovered his natural expression. He stepped forward, Hong Dao hurriedly followed him. The two of them were walking side by side.  Zuo TingYi slightly lowered his head, "Are you interested in her?"

" Forget it." Hong Dao quickly shook his head, "I don't dare to, do you know who her brother is? He is the chief of the police office in the Eastern Citadel. Haha, last time, that Aragon b.a.s.t.a.r.d was caught before he could get into a fight. He was directly dragged to the police office and was confined for more than five hours. I heard that he did not even look like a human being when he was set free!" Hong Dao excitedly chattered.

"Huh, he deserved that." Zuo TingYi said with spite. He had always disregarded such playboys like Aragon.  Zuo TingYi came from a n.o.ble family. Although Aragon's father was a successful trader, in Zuo TingYi's eyes, those kind of wealthy families were not any better than those of the parvenus. It was just that, that guy knew better than to mess with Zuo TingYi.

"I heard that they wanted to send some disciples from the Stars Courtyard here." Hong Dao asked, wanting to further examine the situation.

Zuo TingYi surprisingly looked at him, "You sure got the news quite quick, didn't you?" Most of the instructors loved Zuo TingYi. No matter if it was a big or small matter, he knew it all.  Moreover, he was a member of the inst.i.tution's Discipline Board, which was somewhat related to the educational aspect. His speed in receiving news was also much faster than that of "ordinary people".

"Ha ha, of course." Hong Dao loudly said. His facial expression became solemn in a flash, "Are you really my best friend? Why didn't you even tell me, since it is such a big deal."

Zuo TingYi explained, "I am the same like you. I just learned about it a minute ago.  The inst.i.tution wants us to strictly tighten up the disciplining, so as to not embarra.s.s ourselves in front of them."

" When is that?  What are they coming to our school for?"

"In about a month. I don't know what their purpose is. They just said that it was because of some exchange program."

"Say, what could be the Stars Courtyard's disciples' capacities? I am definitely looking forwards to it now!" It was that as if one could see the fire inside of Hong Dao's eyes. He suddenly turned around: "Ting Yi, do you want to go to the Stars Courtyard?"

Zuo TingYi stopped, he tilted his head, thinking for a while then shook his head, "I don't really know. However, the Stars Courtyard has been declining lately. But among the Great Six Inst.i.tutions, their foundation is still strong. Their capacities are not something that the disciples from the regular schools could be compared to. Moreover, this time, when they come. It certainly isn't because of recruitment."

"Forget it; I think eighty to ninety percent of the deal is geared towards new recruitment. The Stars Courtyard hasn't been in any exchange programs with any other inst.i.tutions for a while now. If it wasn't for recruitment, then what was there else, that it could have been for?" Hong Dao didn't think it was right. If reality, was as he had said, then his opportunity was quite high. Zuo TingYi also knew his best friend's capacity well. Hong Dao's true ability was way greater than what he had typically shown.

"Then why did they have to choose our inst.i.tution?" Zuo TingYi's sharp words were straight to the point.

That was true. Even if it was for recruitment, then why did the Stars Courtyard choose the DongWei Inst.i.tution? Let just say that the DongWei inst.i.tution did have some popularity. But even so, there was no other reason for them to choose the DongWei Inst.i.tution.

"Ah.." Hong Dao was speechless.

"I Don't know whether the ones that are coming will either be from the inner or from the outer disciple, or both." Zuo TingYi lightly said.

"It would be best if they are to be from the inner courtyard. Outer disciples are boring." Hong Dao instantly threw the previous matter to the side, instantly focusing on replying to Zuo TingYi.

Zuo TingYi glanced at him with spite in his eyes: " I'm just afraid that even the hotshots in our school wouldn't be able to compare themselves with the outer disciples." He stressed on those two words "the hotshots."

Hong Dao bitterly laughed, "TingYi, you always overestimate strangers, and underestimate your own people."
