Zhou Lei slowly lowered his head to look at his hands. A pair of fat palms could be seen.

With a very slow pace, Zhou Lei walked home. It was after school, when the sun was just setting.

Usually, this would have made for a beautiful scene, but with the plumpy Zhou Lei in the picture, it was degraded utterly.

Zhou Lei's shoe was very wet. The dog s**t that was previously there had been washed off very fiercely. Dome of the designs that could be seen on the sole of his shoe were no longer there.

It was okay though, since this shoe of his was very cheap. It only costed about 10$...

As he was walking back home, he was wondering why his appearance had gone back to normal.

Is it because System shut down? Is that it?

He arrived back home and removed his shoes, replacing it with slippers.

"I'm home."

As he walked inside, he saw his sister cleaning up the living room. She had maintained her beautiful appearance.

'What?! Why me, but not her?! System?'

System was still silent. It seems as if it was still off. This time, it was not overheating, rather, it was just turned off.

Zhou Zhenya heard her brother's greeting. She turned her head to look at him and said, "Welcome home."

Her tone of voice was as dull as ever. However, with the beautiful face accompanying it, Zhou Lei did not feel irritated at his sister's unenthusiastic greeting, but felt blessed that he had such a beautiful sister greeting him when he came home.

Of course, this was all due to System's bug, but his feelings remained unchanged.

As Zhou Lei made his way to his room, System had notified him that it had restarted. There were two notifications that came after.

After hearing both of the notifications and reading them at the same time, Zhou Lei was left confused. For now though, he was too tired to think. He needed to sleep first.

Zhou Lei went inside his room and quickly removed the clothes that were too tight. He then breathed in deeply.

"Haah..."

Removing his clothes, Zhou Lei fell headfirst on his bed, which had a mattress that was rather hard. Even so, Zhou Lei did not mind it as he was already used to it.

Of course, he still wanted a much better mattress, but he knew that his parents' couldn't support his desires right now. He fell asleep quickly.

In the teacher's home...

Wen Hui was Zhou Lei's homeroom teacher, as well as his math teacher. She was thinking about the immensely handsome man that she saw earlier.

'Was it just an illusion?'

With her being a new teacher, she was in her early twenties, specifically, twenty-two. As such, she was still a little childish in her thoughts.

Recalling the face of the handsome man in her cla.s.s, she pressed her head against a soft pillow. Her head was buried deeply into it.

Wen Hui's lower half also not calm, as she repeatedly kicked the bed alternating between her two feet.
