Zhou Lei stared at Jiang Zi Yun. He couldn't take her eyes off her, his whole body frozen in place.

Shaking his head, Zhou Lei snapped out of his daze and cleared his throat. "Ah, Zi Yun... So, my sister gave you a makeover, huh."

"Yeah, she's pretty good..."

Silence followed once more.

Both of them gulped. They weren't comfortable with this sort of awkwardness around them.

To be honest, even Zhou Lei was shocked that he was dumbfounded at her appearance. Normally, he would be unfazed, considering that both his sister and his mother were world-ending beauties now. Well, he most likely felt no s.e.xual attraction because of the fact that they were direct relatives, and it would be weird...

However, even when Wen Hui, his teacher, was given a makeover by Zhou Zhenya, he didn't feel this unconscious infatuation.

The most probable explanation was that... he had some remnant feelings towards Jiang Zi Yun in the first place.

The atmosphere became heavy, congested by the tension the two girls emitted. When their gazes crossed paths, they immediately considered the other an enemy.

Jiang Zi Yun also looked at him, indicating that she, too, was "curious" about the ident.i.ty of the girl in front of him.
