While she was waiting to hear back from them, she found her appet.i.te once again and continued eating with gusto. 

Ashley didn't realize that Tanaga was thoughtfully staring at her and watching her eating happily. She was about to put a mouth-full of food on her mouth when Tanaga's phone made a noise. A warning that someone hed texted, but unsure of who it is. It could be for Tanaga, or it could be for her.

Ashley quickly looked at who the text was for. When she saw that the text was coming from her Mother, she was so excited and promptly got up and began jumping up and down from happiness.

"Oh, my G.o.d! Thank you so much! Hahaha!" Ashley cried happily as she dialed her Mother's number back.

* Buzzzz, buzz, buzz! * Coming to the third ring, Ashley heard a voice ...

"h.e.l.lo, mom! Is that you?" Ashley asked, obviously excited by the power of the voice.

"Ashley! My child !!!! Is that you? Oh,' Ashley !!! It wasn't a joke after all ... it really is you ?!" Fely Gusman asked her daughter so loud that Ashley almost busted her eardrum. She decided to turn and put it on the speakerphone so Tanaga could also hear their conversation. However, she first looks to Tanaga for approval.

Ashley approached Tanaga and pointed at the speaker of the phone, whispering as she covered the phone. "Is it okay? I just put it on the speaker? I want you to hear what we're talking about." She explained to Tanaga, making sure that it's alright with him? 

When Tanaga nodded, Ashley quickly pressed the speaker's phone, and Tanaga listened to Ashley's Mother's voice, he could tell that she's weeping from happiness. He couldn't help himself procuring a little smile on his handsome face.

"Mom! It's me! How are you? Sorry if I didn't call when I arrived in j.a.pan ... I lost my phone, and as you know, I don't have the funds to purchase a new one. It's a good thing that my boss was so kind and lent me his phone, which is what I'm using now."

"Is that so? My G.o.d, I swear kid if your thing wasn't attached to your body, I don't know... Did you know that your older brother was already looking for a way to go to j.a.pan to find you? I'm so glad that you're okay! " Fely Gusman said as she sobbed, and it's breaking Ashley's heart to listen.

Ashley knows her Mother is crying, but she's trying not to let her know. However, she could hear her loud and clear, and so as Tanaga. Therefore, she decided to go ahead and give her the good news.  

"Mom! The reason I'm calling is to tell you that tomorrow my boss and I are coming to the Philippines. He has a Business deal and of course! Because I'm his personal a.s.sistant, he's taking me with him. What do you say about that? " Ashley proudly boasted to her Mother.

Tanaga was listening to the Mother and daughter talking, he thought they were so cute, and he smiled secretly. While the mother and daughter duo were busy talking, Tanaga decided to be playful and suddenly pulled Ashley aside and sat her on his leg before he began kissing on her neck.

"Oh' my G.o.d! Saint Mary!" Ashley exclaimed as she slipped into Tanaga's lap. She was stunned that out of habit, she automatically smacked his arms a little stronger than usual ...

Tanaga didn't expect her to smack him that hard. Without thinking about Ashley's Mother, who's still on the other side of the line... He also exclaimed, "OUCH !!!" loud enough for Fely to hear.
