Ashley was wringing her sweating hands in nervousness. If she could squeeze them dry, she would have done it by now.

Her body squirmed a little here and there on the seat. She couldn't gather the courage to look or give a slight glance to her handsome seatmate.

As for Tanaga, he sat sideways, facing the window, his mind wandering far away as if Ashley did not exist. His indifferent behavior made Ashley uneasy all the more.

They had traveled for thirty minutes in complete silence. They could even hear the other person's rhythmic breaths.

For Ashley, this was probably the longest thirty minutes of her life, and she had no clue what kind of life was waiting for her at the place where they were heading.

Sometime later, the car suddenly stopped. Ashley turned her head and was struck dumb with what she saw. They stopped in front of a very tall wall, with substantial metal gates.

A moment later, the gate wholly opened automatically. Then, a long road came into view within a serene place, the like of she only saw in photo galleries.

Although they were still within the city, Ashley felt as if they entered a peaceful and beautiful valley, somewhere far from the city.

They pa.s.sed through a vast garden where she could see different types of flowers, bushes, and trees in various length, size, shapes, and colors. It was a totally fantastic sight.

Ashley was stunned. She didn't realize her mouth was agape, and her eyes were as big as letter O while she uttered, "Ohhhh, ahhhh, wowww!" Her exclamations were loud enough for Tanaga to hear.

Ashley had no idea that Tanaga was secretly watching her. He smiled involuntarily but quickly turned back to look outside the window to prevent her from noticing.

The car went all the way to the entrance of the palace-like house. She stared at it intently, thinking that she could compare it hugeness with Malacanang Palace.

All of her fears blew away due to excitement and astonishment caused by witnessing the wealth that was displayed to her. Ashley couldn't believe everything she saw.

"Is this real? Will I be living here from now on?' she inwardly thought.

The car completely stopped in front of a large, intricately carved, wooden door. Someone opened it for them from the inside. It was an older man who stood with his spine straight while giving orders to the male housekeepers.

"Bring all of the lady's things and place them in the house at the back," ordered Tanaga's butler to the other maids who stood in line while waiting for them to get off the car.

Tanaga went down first and directly walked into the mansion. Minutes pa.s.sed, and he felt that Ashley didn't follow.

To avoid the helpers from noticing he was waiting for Ashley, he went to his office, took a contract from the table and started reading it thoroughly.

The contract Tanaga wanted for Ashley to sign was all about the things he wanted her to do, and the following events to happen if the agreement has been fulfilled.

He wanted Ashley to be the mother of his heir. It was stated in the contract that they would be sleeping together until she got pregnant. In case Ashley bore a child after their first s.e.xual intercourse, there was no need for them to continue the deed.

However, if their first child was a girl, that meant they had to have to continue their lovemaking to conceive another child.

Somehow, in case the second child was also a girl, there was no reason to pursue the matter, and Ashley would be freed from the contract, and she could leave with two million in hand. One million per child…
