The moment these four entered the party hall, the Huang couple was so delighted to see s.h.i.+ Xue that they forgot about the three maggots on the floor. Mother Huang offered her seat and tea to s.h.i.+ Xue and held onto her hands to warm them up. Before anything else was said, Mother Huang brought cus.h.i.+ons, warm ginger tea, socks, an extra chair and etc. to make sure that s.h.i.+ Xue was comfortable.

Mother Huang frowned hearing her comforting words, "You silly child! You almost lost your life this time! How can you be fine? You can't even walk down properly. Zhi Hei had to carry you down."

Yu Rou was very jealous seeing how different the Huang's were treating s.h.i.+ Xue compared to her. She clenched her teeth and mocked, "Hah! Yu Rou: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! STOP YOUR INNOCENT PLAYFUL ACT. YOU SHOULD'VE DIED EARLIER! YOU s.n.a.t.c.hED ZHI HEI AND NOW EVEN MOTHER HUANG! "

s.h.i.+ Xue tilted her brows and gave her a foxy smile. "Oh? then how about a bet? You want me dead so you can take my spot anyways. Do you dare to play with me?"

Yu Rou smirked, "You think I'm stupid? Your game, your rules, OBVIOUSLY WOULD STILL BE YOUR WIN."

s.h.i.+ Xue yawned lazily as she covered herself in the light blanket, "Who said I'm going to play a game of mine? Let's stay with Mother Huang's challenge. I heard it was a challenge all about Zhi Hei. If you win, you'll still get what you want and I'll leave you be. If I win, I will do whatever I wish to do, in addition to Mother Huang's punishments~"

Yu Rou was very frustrated at the moment because she couldn't tell whether s.h.i.+ Xue's words were promising. She looked at Zhi Hei whose eyes had been focused on s.h.i.+ xue and never left. Her hands tightened, "Okay! But if I win, I want you to burn that disgusting face of yours with acid and cut off your hands and feet. Then roll your whole body in salt. What do you say?"

s.h.i.+ Xue remained her calm expression and gave her a meaningless glance, "Sure. I'll guarantee you that you will lose."

Yu Rou smirked, "Hah! I've grown up with Zhi Hei and have known every single thing he liked since young. How could you beat me? I know from the moon and back all his habits and list of things that he disliked and had made sure none of those items would be near him."

s.h.i.+ Xue rubbed her face onto Zhi Hei's hand as she revealed a mischievous smile, "Oh? Then thats really funny, How come you're still here then?"

Yu Rou asked, "What do you mean? I'm here because I'm going to be the mistress of the household!"

s.h.i.+ Xue shook her head gently, "The thing he disliked the most had been you. You just said you've kept the things he disliked from him. Then why are you still sticking to him? You should've thrown yourself out as well."
