'Yeah. I need it, for the future.'

[Ranch area added.]

[Size: Depends on the number of animals]

[Functions: Perfect Environment, Feeding]

The ranch area wasn't big right now. It was pretty small as no animal was there. He added pig, sheep, and quails into the ranch. Hare and piglets were pretty annoying and didn't give up yet. Quails weren't domesticated, yet it didn't matter at all.

[3 animals added. Creating areas...]

The ranch started to grow in size. The pigsty, coop and appeared from nowhere. Animals were transported to their s.p.a.ces.

'Do I need to bring food to them?'

[Ranch will automatically feed the animals with food from storage. The host can designate the food for every specimen if the host wants.]

The animals had wide s.p.a.ce for walking, a small pond to take baths and containers full of the best available food.

Brenda was eating happily, although it was alone. It didn't care about anything as there was food to eat. Quails liked their new s.p.a.ce and freedom. Although, s.p.a.ce didn't generate earthworms they were searching around for it. The smart one came closer to the Aron and let him feed itself.

'Ohh, it's really smart haha!'

'I have an idea how tame these piglets and hare. I should get more hares though.'

The sheep and pig were alone. He needed at least one of every gender to let this ranch improve.

Sheep was actually ewe and he needed ram. Brenda couldn't impregnate itself either.

'My quails will probably lay eggs and number of them will grow.'

Aron left to the village chief, this man had great knowledge, and he could learn a lot from him.

"Hi, Chief."

"Welcome, how are the sheep?"

"It is better, right now. My treatment worked. I can describe it to you."

"I am happy to hear it. It's the first time I am encountering something like this."

"I named the disease Demon Fever. The method of treatment is..."

Aron explained the wooden tube and simple recipe for this. Chief took out the scrolls and started writing everything down.

"That's good. I have one question for you. Did you give up, learning writing and reading?"

"No, I already have the foundation. I can read, although some harder words take me longer to understand. As for writing, I practice from time to time."

"You are implying that you can write after one lesson?"

"Most likely..." Aron didn't know what to say.

"I have a request for you. Can you become my apprentice? You see, I taught my son all I know, but he died of the weird disease. From that moment I couldn't find anyone talented. These people need a healer and you are perfect for this position. You already displayed the affinity to animal treatment. What do you think?"

[Do you wish to activate profession Herbalist Apprentice?]

"Yes. I will do it. I cannot promise you that I will stay in this village in the future."

"That's ok. As far you pa.s.s my teaching to someone else it's good. If you leave the village, it means that's fate." He had the trace of worry, but he couldn't let his skill disappear. Skills would be pa.s.sed on Aron and boy would pa.s.s it to someone else.

"One more thing. Most of the people call me chief but I don't want to call me like this anymore. Call me Carl or master. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Carl." He accepted this deal, the herbalist won't be his master for long. The knowledge from the previous world and the help of the system will let him advance fast.

'Let's go get some chickens from Roger.'

The chief allowed come and read his scrolls with knowledge about the herbs and mixing right concoction from it. He pointed at his shelf with various herbs, from ordinary plants considered weeds to fortuitous encounters and presents from people.

"Can I take a look at every one of them? I want to know how to recognize them to not miss them in the forest."

"You can do it. Beware some of them can know you off after one sniff!" It wasn't lying, there were few plants with high soporific effect. Some of them caused other interesting effects like the stimulation of certain parts and many more.

"Containers with black marks store poisonous substances, don't touch them."

Most of the containers were normal, there were few with black marks. His attention fell on double sealed one.

Most of the plants were added to his database, the system arranged some s.p.a.ce to grow them.

He spent a few hours on reading and memorizing the knowledge from the scrolls. It wasn't essential to memorize it, however, it improved his reading skill and gave some proficiency on herbalism from time to time. The skill memory was generated, it improved the speed of memorizing things, and he was determined to get his memory to the level of perfect memory from his previous life.
