1 Tryouts

In this universe, there are those that called themselves 'Mages', performing 'Magecraft'. Sort of like supernatural abilities. They harness the power of Elements. From Water to Fire Elements, Mages were being bred in all corners of the Universe. The system that the first few Mages on Earth came up with was based on this certain fact. They were being cla.s.sified by the number of Elements they wielded.

The Holders System, it was known to be quite hurtful. A Single Holder is where a user can only do one type of element. Twin Holders can wield two elements. Triplet Holders are a tad bit more special, not only they can use three elements they have a hidden skill called 'Holy Trinity'. Once the triplet holder has all three elements mastered or equal, they are able to use Holy Trinity. The spell is basically a huge attack beam, consisting of all three elements that the user has. No other Holders are able to combine elements like them, making them the rarest. Quadruple Holders are those who are masters of four elements. Quintuplet and Penta Holders are two different types of Holders. Quintuplet Holders are able to use any five elements. Penta Holders, however, can only wield the five core elements of Pentagram. An Ace Holder is someone who mastered and can use all elements. Only a handful are able to reach such power. Certain forms or types of Magecraft are not able to be taught, only to be pa.s.sed by blood. These are called Lost Elements.

The annual tryouts allowed the new batches of Mages to enter the Congregation. Judging them would be the strongest Mages within the departments of the Holders. The leader, Commander Pond, stood around to witness the tryouts every year. On a certain year, a special race called the Valkyries joined the Congregation.

Believed to be the leading planet for the Great n.o.ble War, the Valkyries of Valokia knew no bounds when it comes to power and size. Stars fall to dust at the mere mention of Valokian spells. Even their infants dwarfed Dragons, so there's no need to mention how big can the grown-ups be.

She was not easily spotted since she had hidden her wings and size to be near the humans. Her Aura was of the Light Element, but then again, the Valkyries were also masters of masking their Auras. A young girl wearing a black coat with hoodie stepped forward when the leading judge yelled 'Next'.

" 'Kay then, kid. Show us what you've got!" announced the host. The young girl, taking down her hood, revealed long flowing chestnut locks. Her eyes radiated a golden hue as she threw her hands forward. Multiple colors emerged from within the crowd and were drawn onto her fingertips. It then started to light up. Her thumb had grown a small flower, while her index finger had conjured up a mini tornado, just floating above the fingertip. A small white orb engulfed by a pale blue flame was hovering above her middle finger, small pearls of both ice and water droplets danced above her ring finger. At last but not least, a bright orange fireball just barely touched the skin of her pinky fingertip. This applied to her other hand. Eyes bore into the young girl as she continued absorbing power Elemental Energy. When she was content, she closed her open palms, crus.h.i.+ng the mini items. She smiled as she threw her fists into the air once more.

"Fire of the Salamander. Water of the Mermaid. Earth of the Elephant. Wind of the Eagle. Light of the Dove. Darkness of the Bat. These are the elements I govern! Array Of Elements!" called out the young girl. Her Aura changed as a huge amalgamation of Elements hurled through the arena. A huge mess was left in its wake as a certain Mage with his wife opened the door to the Central Atrium, where the arena was at.

"Negation," boomed a voice at the back of the hall. The huge ball of problems disappeared within an instant, stopping shyly from the couple. A tall and muscular man stood at where the voice was located at.

"Gillian, what a pleasant surprise," stated the announcer.

"Pay no heed to me, just continue on," replied the man with a suffocating atmosphere. Most of the Mages were already suffering due to his immense power. His Aura was one of a King's; formidable to sum it all up. All but one being was affected by Gillian's Aura. The one who stood guiltily in the middle of the room. Such a young girl, wielding all Core Elements at the same time, this ought to stir up a fuss within the crowds. Using so much Elemental Energy, still standing tall as if nothing had happened.

"I would like to have a word with this Mage, don't place her anywhere yet," announced Gillian, smiling. His wife merely shook her hand and gave a caring smile towards the young girl.
