. It slowly centered them, lighting up the dark, moist cave, which smelled of wet vegetation .

"Wow, it's been a while since I used this," Airi said . "Yep, your favorite Super Druid was once a noob herself . "

Clyde was sure everyone could see in the dark just fine, but allowed it anyway . And the view of a brown chest made him smile . The young man almost stalked toward it, but Harumi's growl halted his feet . His mystic senses detected nothing . His eyes saw nothing .

"If you want first dibs, go for it," Clyde said . "I'm—"

"That's no chest," Harumi said .

f.u.c.k . That could only mean one thing—an enemy in which gamers hated with a pa.s.sion . The chest giggled . A bright light cloaked it for just a second until it turned into a girl who looked as if she wore a treasure box costume .

"You know this s.h.i.+t isn't funny," Clyde snapped . "And why are you here, anyway? No one comes out this way . "

"Of course, they do," the mimic said . "My boss brings one and then later a friend tries to rescue the abductee . I don't understand why she won't let any of us take husband . Greed maybe?"

"None of what you said makes any sense," the young man said . He gave her an a.n.a.lyze .

The mimic was a girl with blue-green hair and blue eyes . Cheerful expression too . Her white clothing seemed a bit transparent . She wore two red ribbons . One on her head and of course the other covering her b.r.e.a.s.t.s, because the s.h.i.+rt she wore was cut that way . Anime fas.h.i.+on .

The mimic gave them an innocent look .

Tear shot her a blank stare .

"You know we're not going to fall for that, mimic . "

Harumi blurred toward her and Clyde could almost wince at would've been a beatdown . The mimic blocked the attacks . Good . Wait…

[BCFUS multiplier . ]

Harumi's fist flashed a white and green light . The next thing the young man saw was a mimic girl screaming as she flew backward at the speed of sound .

Airi had a short coughing fit before she got out the words .

The mimic girl stood, spitting to the side .

Clyde closed the BCFUS multiplier notice and set it to only show crucial boosts . He got it, his system was doing its job . d.a.m.ned well . He winced when the electrical magic hit .

"Holy s.h.i.+t Harumi," Clyde said as the purple flames snuffed out . "a.s.s-kicking machine . "

The pink-haired girl shrugged .

"It's way too early to celebrate . "

Within minutes, the group encountered six goblins, which Tear struck down with a single ball of energy . Not wanting to get outdone, Airi soloed the next group of enemies—pumpkos—in just a few seconds . Clyde simply conserved his energy, searching for the bigger fish with his mystic senses .

They soon found themselves approaching another door, guarded by a monster girl .

"Ah, you're here to challenge my master and take the treasure . A very, very rare thing indeed . " She chuckled . "Sadly, unlike the combatants you probably slain before this point, we are the real guardians . And we're not letting you take our relic . "

Standing before them was yet another phantom with red clothing and flames this time . A videogame trope . Clichéd twin with different colors .

Clyde made the first dash, even used a flash step or two, just so the BCFUS-enhanced women wouldn't claim the first strike . Tear still did, unsheathing a black-steel blade from the air and colliding it against Nesi's steel .

"Do not underestimate me . I am an elite!"

Nesi tried to kick the succubus, but was met with a block . With one finger . Tear chuckled as the monster girl's eyes widened .

Tear's tail sp.a.w.ned, curled around the leg, hurling Nesi into the air . She aimed a hand at her foe .

"Absolute . "

Tear's attack seemed to consist of two phases . A lightning bolt raining down from nothingness, following by a giant burst of magic .

Somehow Nesi didn't take much damage . From all of that… it had to be the resistances, right? But Tear knew that—based on the previous battle, she used a wind skill . That wasn't dark magic . The prompt revealed the answer .

Nesi rolled when she hit the ground, dodging the lightning strikes, right into Clyde's awaiting magic . He even grinned evilly for the occasion .

Suddenly, the party found themselves staring at a frozen work of art .

Everyone moved as the purple-haired girl smashed the sculpture to bits with a glowing fist .

"Finally putting that to use," she said . "And not on a cheating man, like I originally thought I'd do . "

The women giggled . Clyde simply rolled his eyes .

"Let's see what's behind door number one," he said as it opened .

[Battle completed! Victory! Reward: 350,000 EXP and 1 bottle of Holstaur breast milk . ]

Clyde somehow managed to keep a straight face for that one . But hey, at least he was getting loot, right? What did it…taste like?

Shrugging off the thought, the young man led his party into the boss room .

A few meters ahead, a golden chest awaited them, but of course it was doused in chains and a lock .

In a large room of violet stone and crystal floods, Clyde could feel the intense magic of the powerful being they approached . She lounged in a chair, reading something .

And she was naked, with a black cloak . Purple-white hair draped just past her neck . Her skin tone seemed slightly purple-grey . As if the theme didn't match the monster girl enough, her eyes, took the violet cake . The jewels embedded onto bracelets and a strange necklace, matched the theme .

An a.n.a.lysis revealed what they faced .

Clyde allowed his eyes to stop widening . Every day, he learned something new .

"Are you seriously one of the original founders of the s.e.x potion?"

The beautiful monster girl looked at him then smiled .

"I'm recruiting," she said in a soft-spoken tone . "I…could use a husband to—"

"You know where you can shove that offer," Airi said .

"Level four hundred sixty-four," Clyde said softly . "f.u.c.k . "

"I don't know about this," Harumi said . "There's only four of us…"

The lich smiled .

"You've made it past my guards and now cower in fear? Alas, this is a research facility, somewhat . As an introductory, I shall show you some tests of my potion-in-progress . " She waved a hand . The stony walls became transparent . There, they witnessed at least twenty men being done by monster girls . And true to the cave's name, the sound of grunts filled the room . Another wave and the walls were solid purple stone again, the sounds of s.e.x gone .

"There are some volunteers in there, but that's not important . I need someone to do a direct test on me…Someone worthy . "

Clyde invoked Mystic wrath . He didn't expect the boss to be this f.u.c.king strong . He reached for the power, but was met with a block . An invisible wall between him and his source of…oh f.u.c.k .

Asu gave the young man an evil grin .

"Now, now, we can't have that . "

((Asu had triggered Connection to Soul Block))

"Are you okay, Clyde?" Tear said .

"She cut me off from the power," Clyde said as he fell to a knee, panting .

Harumi s.h.i.+fted into Kitsune form . Airi allowed a lot of green aura to radiate from her . Tear…well, her presence was just enough to remind the young man that despite being magically crippled, he was not alone . d.a.m.n, he should've brought Natalia to top off the OP cake with a cherry .

"Well, are you going to attack me?" Asu said, smiling .

"I can't activate the high chant," Airi said, worried . "I won't be able to connect you to nature . "

"There goes my G.o.d of wisdom hope," Clyde said softly . He stood, activating all of his buffs . "I'm under-leveled and cut off from the power . I'll be relying on you three until I can break out of her spell . "

That new prompt…What was triggering? Wait…there's channeling and now this . A form of essence he couldn't sense .

"If you won't make the first move, I will," the lich said .

Clyde and his party dodged as the black magic smashed into the floor, leaving behind a smoky fifteen-feet crater . It sealed itself seconds later .

"Tsk . " Asu teleported by Clyde but the young man's mystic senses were in overdrive thanks to Mystic wrath . He dodged all of her attacks then kicked her backward .

[Clyde activated Mystic lightning . ]

[Tear activated Double Raid Ender]

[Harumi activated: Kitsune's Thunderstorm . ]

[Airi activated: Solar beam . ]

"Airi you can't go ripping off attacks from other…never mind," Clyde said then got to moving . His party too, knowing d.a.m.ned well that staying still why a Super boss moved about was just asking to get beat down .

[Asu's HP has dropped from 800 to 770%]

"Only thirty percent damage," Clyde said .

[Your defense has returned to normal . ]

Asu teleported to an isolated section of the large room, raising a hand .

Asu sighed .

Her magic pulled Asu into the air, exploding seconds later .

Asu chuckled .

"I must watch that one, she who hides her true power . "

The lich teleported next to Harumi, but was met with an electrical fist-smash to the face, followed by a spin-kick .

Harumi collapsed .

A pillar of energy and flame plunged down on the kitsune before anyone could get to her .

Clyde and Airi engaged Asu in a flurry of missing attacks . Tear attended to the fox girl . So much for "breaking" the spell . He was sure they could—

The kick rocketed Clyde until he felt the painful scene of back meeting stone . The wall even dented .

[Clyde's HP dropped to 120%]

[Clyde was inflicted with smoke blight . ]

His sight went blurry as the smell of smoke invaded his nostrils . With Harumi still out and Tear helping her, he couldn't immediately rely on her healing .

He quickly downed two super health potions, wincing against the sour taste .

Clyde was already tired of this b.i.t.c.h . He'd use his head . Even without the Power, he could still hit her with something that would hurt . Seeming to sense the challenge with the young man, Asu stalked toward him, ignoring Airi .

Clyde flashed stepped to her side, causing the lich to gasp as he aimed his hand .

"For a second there, I thought you were going to hurt me," Asu said laughing . She dodged Harumi's burst of lightning, as well as Tear and Airi's magic .

Snarling, Clyde raised a hand . If her level wasn't so d.a.m.ned high, the lich would've experienced a mult.i.tude of status alignments .

Clyde's magic slammed onto her . He knew it wouldn't kill the lich, but the young man just wanted to rack up as much rage damage as possible . That's when something strange happened . Asu fell to her knees, crying .

"I've seen the light! The great revolution . I throw down my dark, pitiful ways and I give myself to the light . For the Stone has come! I repent!"

[Asu was inflicted with *repentance . ]

"Master!" The monster girl anime-dove into Clyde . "Here, take the key, my lord . And maybe…" she blushed . "You'd let me service you . May you add my virginity to your pool of power . "

Everyone comedically fell backward .

Well…a victory was a victory . And at last, the party obtained the key to the golden chest .

Clyde could not get the clingy monster girl off him . He unlocked the chest . There, was a red gemstone the size of a basketball, coated in a golden aura .

"Well Tear," Clyde said as he sent the item to his inventory . "We've got this . "

The succubus hurried to the young man, kicked Asu to the side, and hugged the s.h.i.+t out of her fiancée .

"Thank you," she whispered . "My husband, protecting me . "

Clyde felt his face reach nuclear hot, but relished in Tear's soft embrace .
