Chapter 110 Your husbands character really needs improvement (1)

Duan Chi was actually a bit annoyed. He had gone to Song Corporation yesterday with a calm and tranquil attitude to have a discussion with Song Tingshen. Yes, he was aware that his behavior may not be that appropriate. But, he was capable of going over there to have a frank conversation with him instead of shrinking in a dark corner.

He just wanted to know why Ruan Xia and Song Tinghsen didnt get a divorce since they didnt have a good marital relationship. Why not just let each other off and go their separate ways?

But what had Song Tingshen done? He had treated him with unwarranted sarcasm. After curbing himself for a day, Duan Chi decided to go look for Ruan Xia.

Not hearing a response from Ruan Xia, Duan Chi slowly said, I didnt want to pursue you so soon. After all, youre still his wife right now. Itll affect you if I wage too big of a battle. I went to look for your husband yesterday because I wanted to clear the air with him. If the two of you dont have a good relationship, you can get a divorce. Theres no need to drag each other down.

Ruan Xia, Im saying this because if you share my feelings, then after you get a divorce, we can re-establish a family together. You dont have to worry about my parents. Theyre not the type to adhere to old ideas. They cant control my life either. If you cant bear to part with your son, Ill do my best to fight for custody. Ill treat him like my own child.

Duan Chi had said his speech with great emotion. He had dated before, but Ruan Xia was the most mesmerising woman that he had ever met. Even if his friends werent optimistic about the outcome or even if his family members objected, he wouldnt be bothered by it.

Ruan Xia finally realized who this guy was.

She had a complicated expression. After listening to him speak, she suddenly realized why the original owner wasnt interested in this rich and handsome man and had chosen to go faraway to find another ATM instead.

Although the original owner defined men as ATMs, it didnt mean that she wasnt picky. If money was the only qualification, there were plenty of rich men around her Whether it was Song Tingshen or her second husband in the novel, they both possess a normal IQ at least.

This Duan Chi was really hard to take.

What a disaster

Ruan Xia was silent for a while before she finally asked, You went to look for my husband?

Why hadnt Song Tingshen mentioned it to her at all? Oh, right, if the same thing had happened to her, she wouldnt say anything to Song Tingshen either. It was mainly because she wouldnt know how to start that conversation. She aso didnt know what words to use so that it wouldnt be so outrageously laughable.

Oh, yesterday was Song Tingshens birthday too.

If someone came to see her and told her those words on her birthday, even if she didnt like her husband, she would still feel depressed.

Song Tingshen had really been put in a difficult spot yesterday. He didnt seem to show any signs of being affected by this incident. What a calm and composed person.

Duan Chi nodded. I was originally hesitant about going to see him, but then I thought that a man should be decisive. It would be unseemly to hide in a corner. Besides, theres nothing shameful about this. Your husbands character really needs improvement

In Duan Chis opinion, when there was a matter between men, they should be able to calmly sit down and have a proper discussion. What was wrong with that CEO Song? Hadnt their discussion been amicable at first? Why had he mocked him in the end?

T/N: I recently finished read a new novel, (I Can Talk to Cats). Its such a good novel. I feel the summary doesnt do the novel justice. When I read the summary, I think its going to be about nothing but fluffy moments and MC-centric. But the novel is so much more well-developed than that.

The cast of characters (cats and humans) was wonderful and so varied. Theyre people and cats that I would be happy to know in real life. I love the glimpses we get of everyones lives and their happy endings. The cat cafe and apartment building is a lovely interlude before the humans (and cats) move onto the next happy step of their lives. I enjoyed reading the personal growth by some of the characters. Solid writing by the author from beginning to end.
