The Midnight Breed Series Around the World Since its United States debut May 1, 2007, the Midnight Breed series has been published in more than 18 languages in countries all over the globe. The series is a #1 bestseller in Germany, selling in excess of one million copies as of 2012. In Italy, the series has also landed on numerous bestseller lists, with sales reported at nearly half a million copies.

The Future of the Midnight Breed Series Edge of Dawn and Beyond So, here we are, at the close of this first chapter of the Midnight Breed series. I hope you've enjoyed taking an inside look at the characters, the novels, and behind-the-scenes peeks at how Lucan and the Order, the Breed and the Breedmates, the Ancients and the Atlanteans-even Dragos-all came into being on the page.

Looking back on these ten books and the two novellas that now comprise the series, I can't help feeling a sense of pride for what I've created. But more than that, I feel immense grat.i.tude to you, my readers, for embracing the characters, the books, and me as well.

By the time this Companion publishes, the series will have seen the February, 2013, release of the eleventh Midnight Breed book, Edge of Dawn (Mira and Kellan's story).

Edge of Dawn kicks off the new story arc featuring the Order's offspring and many new characters I can't wait for you to meet. Don't worry that you'll be missing Lucan, Gabrielle, Gideon, Savannah, Dante, Tess, Tegan, Elise, and the rest of the original cast. They play an active role in Edge of Dawn, and will continue to be a big part of the series as it moves forward. And I can a.s.sure you that as much as I loved writing the first ten books, I'm having even more fun with the new ones.

After Edge of Dawn, I have plans for potentially seven more novels and a handful of novellas. If you've enjoyed the first leg of the series, I hope you'll join me on this next adventure too!

Next up after Mira and Kellan is Nathan's story, Crave the Night, currently slated for hardcover release from Random House early 2014.

In the meantime, I want to thank you for embracing my work so generously and so enthusiastically. Writing books for a living is my dream come true, but none of this would be possible without you, my dear readers.

You honor me well!
