Chapter 591 An Urgent Matter That Needed His Attention

Jasmine laughed at her father. The little girl truly found him funny for being petty. And at last, she didn't ask him to bring her down again.

Fu Hua was glad she didn't remember it.

While their bags were being taken into their rooms and arranged, the two families sat close to the garden to drink tea and eat the homemade prepared snacks by a top Chef, while chatting about random things.

Jasmine did something very funny, she was given a milkshake to take along with her cookies, but our dearest little princess almost downed the whole thing.

"Jasmine, you can't drink your milkshake that way without eating it with your cookies, or don't you want them?" Jia Li asked while pointing at her glass of milkshake which was remaining half, and a small plate of cookies for her.

"I want them," Jasmine said. She meant that she still wanted to eat her cookies. "I'm thirsty." She added.

"You were thirsty?" Jia Li asked with a look of disbelief.

Who quenched thirst with any other drink apart from water? It looks like her daughter does that.

Jasmine nodded in response to her question. The little girl was thirsty, and so used her milkshake to quench a little of her thirst.

"Princess, you use water to quench your thirst, unless you just feel like taking the milkshake alone. See, if you finish your milkshake, what will you use to eat your cookies?" Fu Hua pointed out.

Jasmine licked her lips and glanced at the plate of cookies which she hasn't touched before her eyes slowly moved to Jia Li and Fu Hua's cups of tea.

Jasmine smiled and said while gazing at her father, "Your tea, and mummy's tea."

Fu Hua and Jia Li smiled at her, their little girl was so funny and smart. Jia Li reached her fingers to clean the little stain at the corner of her lips caused by the milkshake, while Fu Hus said to her

"No, you can't have the tea it's for adults. Your mummy and I are grownups, and we can only have the tea because of it."

Jasmine glanced between her parents and asked, "Daddy, when will I become like you and mummy, I want to be an adult, so I can eat what I want."

The little girl thought that she could eat whatever she wanted if she was an adult, with no restrictions, without knowing it wasn't enough.

You might think taking alcohol is nice, and would want to try it, but frequently taking it, it's not good for the health.

And being an adult doesn't mean you can eat whatever you like.

"Even if you grow up, you can't still eat whatever you want, you need to be careful of your diet, and only eat healthy food." Fu Hua pointed out to her in a gentle tone.

"Okay, daddy!" Jasmine said with a bright smile on her face.

Jia Li smiled at her little girl and said to her, after she picked up a cookie and handed it to her, "Eat up."

Jasmine took the cookie from her and had a bite from it.

The family of three was sitting at a smaller round table, while the rest of the two families sat at different tables as well, still, Jasmine's cuteness could not be stopped from radiating around the others.

After having a little break with snacks, everyone went back to their bedrooms to freshen up and rest, before coming down for dinner. And it was during this time, that Fu Hua received a call from his personal assistant, Zimo.

It was evening, and answering calls at the dinner table wasn't proper. Zimo knew about Fu Hua's schedule, but for him to be calling by that time despite knowing where he was, Fu Hua thought the matter must be important, so he excused himself and left to answer the call.

When Fu Hua got to a quiet place, he answered the call, and Zimo's urgent voice came immediately.

"Boss, can you please spare a minute of your time, it's urgent."

"The urgent matter had better be important because I just left my family at the dinner table to take your call." Fu Hua said in a strict tone.

Zimo heaved a sigh and glanced behind him before replying to him, "Boss, this matter is very important, and it has something to do with madam."

"My wife?" Fu Hua asked almost immediately. Anything that has to do with his wife, was a matter of urgency.

"Yes, Boss," Zimo replied quickly.

Fu Hua panicked a little because of how urgent Zimo sounded. "What happened? Give me all the details immediately." He demanded in a serious tone.

Within a few minutes, Fu Hua's facial expressions turned uglier with each moment that passed.

Fu Hua and Zimo spoke for over 5 minutes before ending the conversation.

"Do whatever you can to bring them to me as I would like to have a direct conversation with them"

"Boss, won't you wait till after the tomb visit tomorrow? They are already willing to wait for your instructions." Zimo asked.

"No way!" Fu Hua cut in. "This is very urgent. I will like to take care of this matter as soon as possible, so bring them to me immediately!"

Zimo knew how grave the situation was if wasn't managed properly, so without any try to convince Fu Hua he took up the responsibility of making sure the important task which was assigned to him, was carried out with immediate effect.

After the call, Zimo sighed and put his phone in his trouser pocket.

"It's Mr. Fu angry with us?" A female voice asked in fear.

Zimo turned around and glanced at the three familiar people sitting behind him. Their faces were seen, and they could be identified as the three reporters/journalists that Alix and Carlos hired to interview Mu Keer, and also publish the details of it.

"He is angry, and why wouldn't he be? You did the right thing by coming to meet him, but what took you so long, since more than 24 hours ago?" Zimo asked with a frown.
