Chapter 548 - New Game Project

Fu Ling talked to Fu Hua about his new game plans and how he wanted FJ to design the costumes for the dress-up game.

At first, he wanted to use the already made collection in FJ but Fu Hua gave him a piece of advice.

"You need a fresh design and besides, it's going to cost you a lot if you want to use our already launched expensive designs. I will suggest you pick a designer from our team and ask him/her to design some outfits for your game, it will become popular if we help with the promotion." Fu Hua said.

"Brother you mean..." Fu Ling trailed off.

Fu Hua smiled and said to him, "This will be beneficial for your company and FJ, it will be a win-win situation. If the designer for your costume is from FJ, this will be huge. After you launch the game, you can include some details leading to FJ, which in turn can direct your customers here."

The dress-up game would surely be interesting, depending on the age range for it. If a teenager or an adult, plays that game and gets interested in the outfits, she can directly purchase the app in order to get those outfits.

At the end of the meeting, Fu Ling said he would make an adjustment to his proposal and some changes to the game which will allow all females from different age range to play the game.

For instance, after the game has launched and as a female customer, you try setting up your details in order to start playing, you will have to input your age range, so the system can automatically bring out the outfits suitable for your age to play with.

If you pick from ages 18-24 a certain kind of outfits will be displayed for you to play the dress-up game with.

In order for their proposal to work, Fu Ling had to first adjust his initial plans, so over the next several days, he and his team buried themselves in work.

After making the perfect proposal and adjusting their new game plans, Fu Ling went back to FJ with his personal assistant/fake girlfriend, Xiulan.

After going through their proposal, Fu Hua was satisfied with it.

Since this was official, Fu Hua asked Sunny to come to his office to discuss the new plan ahead of them.

Fu Ling chose a certain number of outfits for each level. If the customers from ages 18-24 pay and upgrade to use level 2 outfits, they can get an extra free outfit added to the one they purchased for the game.

Since they were going to be levels in the game, some of FJ's existing outfits will be used, aside from the ones that will be freshly designed.

The new game, Fu Ling was launching was not just a dress-up game alone, it also had some stories to it to make it interesting.

Tasks like, 'Having a prom party to attend, what kind of outfit will you pick for your date with the hottest guy in your high school?'

When the little meeting was over, Fu Hua asked Sunny to pick a team of 3 people that would work on this new project. He was leaving her to make the decision since she was FJ's Creative Arts Director.

Fu Ling felt more grateful to Fu Hua for the advice he gave to him. Since the game will be solely focused on 90% females, he had to put more effort, as this was his first time working on a different kind of game from his usual.

Also, Fu Hua told him to launch the game quickly before Jasmine's birthday, so that on her birthday, the game could be advertised there.

"I'm not sure of the theme her mother chose for this year's birthday party but you can still advertise your new game thereafter the launch. If your App is friendly, Jasmine can play the dress-up game with the guidance of her mother or any adult." Fu Hua said.

These tactics were simple. The little bun only had to choose some dresses she would like her character in the game to wear, while an adult-supervised from the side.

Not only will Jasmine play the game in front of her party guests but also, she will be recorded and the clip, posted online to draw more attention to the game.

This will surely create a buzz on the Internet.

That day when Fu Hua got home, he explained in detail on the discussion he had with Fu Ling concerning his new game.

"...I hope you don't mind?" Fu Hua asked with his gaze on her.

"I don't mind at all. It's not a big deal and we are a family, we should help one another when we have the opportunity to do so." Jia Li replied.

She had no problem with Fu Ling using Jasmine's birthday for his game promotion. She thought it would be more fun and even asked Fu Hua to talk about it with Fu Ling after the game launches, to see if they could include some other things from the game in the birthday party, to make it more fun.

The next day being the weekend, Fu Hua was spending real time with his little daughter. Jasmine was sitting on his chest while eating a bar of chocolate.

If the little girl takes a bite, she would give her father to have a bite. The father and daughter were really enjoying themselves.

Jasmine's hair was let down and it caused obstruction for her while eating her chocolate bar, so her father had to push her hair away from her face from time to time until they finished eating the chocolate.

Jia Li who left the bed for them and was lying on the couch while reading a book was distracted because Fu Hua just called her to get the little girl's water bottle.

As the little girl was comfortably sitting on him, he didn't want to disturb her, so he chose to disturb his wife.

"Sweetheart, please help me with her water bottle.." Fu Hua said while flashing a sweet smile at the grumpy-looking Jia Li.
