Chapter 452 - Jasmine's First Birthday Party

On Jia Li and Jasmine's birthday, the whole family sang a birthday song to them immediately they stepped out of the room.

Jia Li and Jasmine looked surprised to see the whole house decorated with balloons and other items. The balloons were so many that Jia Li kicked some of them as she walked.

This was the kind of thing the little bun liked so she asked to be let down so she could sit and play with them.

While everything was being finalized, Jasmine's official birthday cake arrived. At first, Jia Li didn't want to let the little bun see her cake for fear that she would start crying to have a bite, but Fu Hua asked her to allow her.

"There are so many cakes coming today, so we can give her to try from any of them."

When Jasmine saw her birthday cake, she was excited and clapped her hands. Jia Li pointed at the cake and said to her, "Today is your birthday, and that's your birthday cake, but you can only eat it after cutting it."

As Fu Hua said, more cakes were on their way. To Jia Li's surprise, every member of the Fu family customized a birthday cake for Jasmine.

2 hours to the party time, Jia Li and the little bun, bath and got dressed to take their official birthday photos. Fu Hua joined them for a few of their photos, and the rest of the family joined them in a few. But the main focus was on Jasmine.

It was really fun getting the little bun to stand on her feet so some shots could be taken. When everyone cheered her on, the little bun clapped her hands and smiled back at them, and that was how a perfect shot was taken of her while standing.

Jasmine's first birthday party was really loud as lots of the Fu family friends were in attendance. The little bun was afraid of the crowd and she didn't let any outsider touch or carry her.

And when it felt like she was being forced, she would make sounds of protests and hide in her mother or father's arms. You really can't force Jasmine to do what she doesn't want to.

Being the center of attention was not something the little bun really liked. She was shy and wouldn't stay at a place if her mother or father was not next to her.

When it was time to cut her birthday cake which had her picture on it, she almost cried because Jia Li made her stand in front of the table, and then turned to leave.

Seeing as the little bun had already pouted her lips and stretched out one arm towards her, Jia Li was forced to return to her side.

Fu Hua joined the mother and daughter pair on the stage to cut the birthday 🎂 together.

After cutting her birthday cake, the little bun clapped for herself, and that caused her to receive cheers from the family and the guests. And immediately, everyone stood up to sing a birthday song for her.

After singing for the little bun, YingPei immediately went to carry the little bun away, because Fu Hua arranged a little something for Jia Li just to make her feel special on her day.

Fu Hua took the mic from the mc and gazed lovingly at Jia Li. Jia Li didn't see this coming, and it was so weird for her to be the center of attention. She almost ran away if Fu Hua wasn't quick enough to pull her back.

After taking the mic, Fu Hua held her hand and sang a birthday song specially for her, as the rest watched them with smiles on their faces.

After singing for her, Fu Ling immediately stepped forward with a crown 👑 on a tray. Fu Hua gave the mic back to the mc, before picking up the crown from the tray and placing it on Jia Li's head to the amazement of everyone.

Next, Fu Hua stretched out his hand for a dance, and Jia Li took it with a gladdened heart. She remembered saying that she didn't want anything special on this day, but now, she was convinced that she can not stop Fu Hua from doing whatever he wanted.

Jasmine stared at her parents with a curious gaze. Seeing them dance on the stage, was the first time, so she was very curious about what they were doing.

The little bun went on to point at them and tried to say a few words Fu Yingpei couldn't make sense of. He didn't have an idea of what she was saying, but he still replied to her.

"Your Dad and your Mum are dancing, do you like that?." Fu YingPei asked with a smile.

"Hu...dantch..." Jasmine said while pointing at her the couple dancing on the stage. Fu YingPei concluded that he could never understand her language, and gave up on it.

Not long after, FangSu came to carry the little bun away, but YingPei did not allow her to take the little bun from him.

"Brother give her to me, I'm going to introduce her to a few of my friends," FangSu said while stretching forth her arms.

Fu YingPei moved a little away from her and said, "I won't give her to you, go away."

FangSu frowned after being rejected and asked YingPei for the little bun again. "Brother why are you doing this?."

Jasmine who has been staring at her parents took notice of FangSu and wanted to go with her, but YingPei refused.

"I carried her first, wait till I'm tired then I will give her to you." Fu YingPei said.

FangSu couldn't believe her ears, and she looked so annoyed at the moment. And before she could protest, Butler Lu came to their side to take the little bun away from them. Actually, the old man had sent him to take Jasmine from them.

Grandfather Fu was sitting with his friends and also wanted to show off his family's little princess.

After Jia Li and Fu Hua finished dancing, the Party continued. Guests were served food and drinks and souvenirs.

Towards the end of the party, Jasmine gave out gifts to the children that came for her birthday party with the help of Jia Li.

Jia Li would pick a gift and give it to her, and then instruct her to pass it to the child in front of them. When giving out any heavy gift, Jia Li would put her hand underneath hers to support her.

It was good that the gifts were well packaged, otherwise, if the little bun saw anything that fascinated her, she would forget about handing the gift to another person.
