Chapter 220 - Gifts From The Fu Family

As Jia Li was curious to know what was written in the papers, she opened the file and glanced at the papers. The title of the paper shocked her because it was boldy written.

The paper was a title deed in her name. As Jia Li reads the property document grandfather Fu transferred to her and she was shocked.

Fu Hua watched her reaction from the side and a smile appeared on his face. He could tell how shocked she was by the huge gift.

Jia Li turned to Fu Hua to ask with a surprising glint. "Fu Hua, did grandfather send this to me mistakenly?"

"Your name is right there, so how could he have sent it to the wrong person?" Fu Hua asked.

Jia Li felt the document was a heavy burden on her. The old man just bought an apartment building ???? in one of the most expensive areas in the city and gave it to her as a gift.

Jia Li was beyond shocked. This was a huge gift to her.

"This is nothing compared to what the old man usually gifts. Every member of the Fu family has a few properties and lands in their name. Grandfather must have thought he should give you the gifts bit by bit so you won't be shocked." Fu Hua revealed.

"What?!" ???? Jia Li looked shocked again. She was still trying to get over the huge present she got from the old man and he was telling her more shocking news.

"Come and take a look at the other gifts the rest of the family gave to you." Fu Hua said as he pointed at the gift bags close to the huge shelf.

Jia Li was surprised as she wasn't expecting the members of the Fu family to gift her anything. She felt touched receiving gifts from them for her graduation.

Fu Hua helped her to take out the gifts before displaying them on his desk.

A very expensive graphics tablet came from Fu YingPei. A set of expensive beauty products came from Fu Meixu. Fu ChunHua gave her a set of jewelry. Fu Ling gave her a set of expensive tools to help with her designing. There was a set of glittering pens and so many other things.

There was an emerald green bracelet lying in a red box and Jia Li had no idea who gave the r present until Fu Hua told her who gave it because there was no name on it.

It turned out that Fu Hee gave that gift. Jia Li was surprised that her mother-in-law who did not like her gave her a gift for her graduation.

Fu Hua did not show any emotions as he helped her to unwrap other presents. Butler Lu gave her a gift and the servants of the Fu house contributed to getting her an expensive gift.

Jia Li was surprised by their gesture. Today made her know how loved she was that even the servants of the Fu house could get her a present.

Fu Hua helped her to package the presents before pressing a button fixed on his desk. A servant knocked and came in a few minutes later.

Fu Hua asked her to send the gifts to their bedroom after Jia Li took out the gifts she could use to work on her designs.

"I have to call and thank them." Jia Li said with a smile.

"You don't have to, they only did what they were supposed to." Fu Hua said to her.

"No, that doesn't seem right." As Jia Li thought about calling them, a thought came to her head so she voiced it out because she was worried.

"How do I call your mother and thank her?" Jia Li asked Fu Hua.

Fu Hua raised his phone and replied, "You can use mine."

Jia Li sighed in relief before using her phone to call the members of the Fu family to thank them for their gifts.

This was the first time she was speaking member of the Fu family on phone apart from Fu Hua, Grandfather Fu, and Fu Meixu.

When it was time to call her mother-in-law, Jia Li used Fu Hua's phone for it. She was a bit worried because she was not on good terms with Fu Hee and the latter didn't like her.

"Don't be nervous, it's just a call." Fu Hua said as he encouraged her from the side.

Fu Hee was sitting in the living room upstairs in the Fu house when she received an incoming call from her son.

She was happy to see that he was calling her. She answered the call immediately.

"Fu Hua?"

Jia Li glanced at Fu Hua when she heard the excited tone of her mother-in-law. Jia Li felt things were awkward now.

"Auntie, it's me, Jia Li." Jia Li said over the phone.

The smile on Fu Hee's face vanished instantly. She was disappointed to hear Jia Li's voice because she thought it was Fu Hua that was calling.

"Oh! How is Fu Hua?" Fu Hee asked as she maintained a gentle tone even if it was not filled with excitement like before.

"He is fine. Auntie, I called to thank you for your gift, thank you!" Jia Li said after replying to her question. She wanted to end the conversation as soon as possible.

"That's okay. Don't end the call, pass the phone to Fu Hua."

Jia Li did as instructed. Fu Hua's brows furrowed as he took the phone from her. He placed the phone in his ear and listened to his mother talk.

Their conversation didn't last for more than 30 seconds before Fu Hua put his phone down. And throughout their conversation, Jia Li only heard Fu Hua hum once.

"Why are you standing there? Go and sit." Fu Hua said to her. She has been standing in front of his desk for a while now and he thought her legs would be hurting now.

Jia Li picked up her sketchbook and opened it. She wanted to be busy with something, so she picked up a pencil and started scribbling something on it.

When she felt an inspiration was coming, she heard her phone ring and she glanced at her phone with an annoyed gaze.. Fu Hua saw it and couldn't help chuckling within him.
