Chapter 163 - Waiting For Him

After dinner, Jia Li and Fu Hua went back to their bedroom.

"If my mother asks you to go out with her, tell her you can't leave without my permission." Fu Hua said to Jia Li after settling on his desk.

Jia Li nodded without saying anything. She had wanted to ask if their relationship will worsen if she refused her, but she saw that there was no need for that.

Jia Li went into the inner room to change her clothes, and when she came out a few minutes later, Fu Hua was already sitting in bed.

Jia Li stopped in her steps and glanced over.

Fu Hua smiled silently as he patted the space beside him with his left palm. It was an indication for Jia Li to come over.

'What's his plans?' Jia Li thought as she walked to the bed and got underneath the duvet, and she made sure to leave a lot of space between her and Fu Hua.

Jia Li must be very naive for she thought leaving a lot of space between them could stop Fu Hua from doing what he had in mind.

Fu Hua turned off the lights and only left the bedside lamps on. He got underneath the duvet and moved close enough to Jia Li.

Jia Li felt the movement behind her and remains static. Because she had her back against Fu Hua, she couldn't see him. Her eyes were opened, and her body was alert while waiting for Fu Hua's next move.

Without warning, Fu Hua turned her to face him and immediately captured her lips ????. He touched her face as he kissed her with his eyes closed.

Jia Li didn't struggle and let him kiss her to his heart's content.

Fu Hua slowly left her lips and gazed into other's eyes and asked with a smile, "Aren't you going to push me away?"

"Will it make you stop?" Jia Li asked with her gaze on him.

She already knew the answer to that question, but she asked that in other to tell him that there was no need to resist his touches since it wouldn't stop him from doing what he had in mind.

"No, it wouldn't." Fu Hua replied, and Jia Li chose not to speak.

A smile appeared on Fu Hua's face as he said to her in a low tone, "You are becoming very smart."

Without waiting for Jia Li's response, Fu Hua kissed her lips again and explored her mouth with his hot tongue as his hand went inside her clothes to touch her.

Fu Hua didn't receive any response from Jia Li, she didn't even return his kisses, so he stopped and gaze into her eyes, before withdrawing silently.

He sighed and laid on his back after he moved away from her.

Jia Li was not expecting him to stop, she thought he would insist on having his way with her but didn't.

She was tired and was not in the mood to get under the sheets with him, and the best way she thought she could reject him was to remain emotionless, but without knowing, it was the worst way to reject Fu Hua.

Fu Hua felt rejected and decided to leave Jia Li alone for the night. After exhaling for a while, he got out of bed.

Jia Li thought he was definitely angry and became worried. She didn't know if she should explain things to him, because acting that way without explaining things could lead to a misunderstanding.

Jia Li decided to wait for Fu Hua to return to bed, but he didn't return until she was half asleep. She was so sleepy that she couldn't say anything to him.

The next morning when she woke up, Fu Hua was nowhere to be seen. Even when she went to the washroom, she didn't see any sight of him.

After washing up, she came back to the bedroom and was in time to see Fu Hua stepping into the room with a headset on his ears, a head warmer, and a pair of sneakers ????.

He looked very different from his usual cold and serious Bossy look. Jia Li felt that he looked more charming.

Fu Hua who had just returned from a morning run glanced at Jia Li who was already dressed in some casual clothes. Then he proceeded to walk past her without saying anything.

'Is he still angry with me?' Jia Li thought.

The truth is that Fu Hua was acting like his usual self, but because of what played out last night, Jia Li thought otherwise.

Since Fu Hua had nothing to say to her, it was normal for someone like him whose words were like gold to not say anything.

Jia Li sat on the bed to wait for Fu Hua to finish washing up.

Fu Hua took off his headset in the walk-in closet and changed out of his sneakers and shirt, before walking into the bathroom in his sports trousers to have his bath.

When he returned to the bedroom dressed in his work suit, he was surprised to see Jia Li sitting on the bed with a frown.

"Why are you sitting there? Are you not hungry?" Fu Hua asked.

"I'm hungry." Jia Li replied as she got up from the bed. She sighed in relief because he spoke to her.

Fu Hua didn't say anything to her. He didn't know the reason she would still be sitting there if she was hungry, without knowing she was waiting for him.

Fu Hua picked up his work bag ???? and was about to leave the bedroom when he saw Jia Li still standing in the same position.

Thinking that she was reluctant about having breakfast with the family, he said to her, "If you don't want to have your breakfast downstairs, I will ask a servant to bring it here for you, so you can eat and take your drugs."

"No, I'm fine." Jia Li replied before following him out.

They were the last people to join in the dining room, as everyone was already seated.

Immediately Jia Li walked into the dining room, her nose scrunched up in a frown when she perceived something she didn't think she would be able to handle the smell.
