Chapter 126 - Feng Alix Felt The Blood Drain From Her Body

To Jia Li's surprise, Fu Hua didn't come into the kitchen after a while, so she decided to go and check.

What happened next was that Jia Li and Feng Alix met each other and were both stunned.

Jia Li felt that Feng Alix was familiar, but she couldn't remember where she had seen her. Seeing the tall beautiful lady, Jia Li agreed that she was indeed beautiful.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Feng Alix asked as her woman instinct became alert.

Jia Li was surprised by the question. 'This is my house, and I have been living here for a while. Since when did visitors start asking such questions?'

Jia Li was tongue-tied by the question as she tried to guess Feng Alix's identity. And with the way she walked inside the house, Jia Li didn't need anybody to tell her she was familiar with this place since she knew the password.

Feng Alix had a frown sitting on her face while waiting for Jia Li to reply.

Becoming impatient, she asked, "Where is Fu Hua?"

Jia Li was about to reply when they both heard the door unlock and the sound of steady footsteps followed next. Their attention was caught immediately, so they both fixed their gaze towards the direction the person was coming from.

Fu Hua had just stepped into the house with the pack of bottled water in his hand and was about to change his shoes when he saw an unfamiliar female shoe on the shelf.

He frowned as he thought, 'Do we have a visitor'.

After changing his shoes, he lifted the pack of water and walked towards the sitting room. But he stopped in his steps when he saw that familiar tall lady standing beside Jia Li.

"What are you doing here?" Fu Hua asked in a cold tone as he glanced at Feng Alix with a frown.

Feng Alix smiled when she saw it was Fu Hua who had just walked in. From his tone and facial expression, she could tell that he was still angry with her.

She took a few steps towards him and only stopped when she was close enough. With a smile on her face, she said to him...

"I wanted to surprise you by coming back unannounced. I came straight from the airport after making a guess you would be here."

"What did you come back for?" Fu Hua asked.

Feng Alix was surprised by his question, but still thinking it was because he was mad at her for abandoning him, she had to explain to him.

"Are you still angry with me? Don't be angry. I came back to spend some time with you, to make up for the lost times."

Her words alone were enough for Jia Li to know her identity.

'She is Fu Hua's girlfriend?' She thought with a stunned gaze.

Jia Li didn't know what kind of feelings was bubbling inside her, so she just turned around and left.

Fu Hua glanced at Jia Li's back with a frown, while Feng Alix glanced at her back with curiosity.

"You still haven't changed. You took a break and came to see me, but you didn't think about if I had something important or a busy schedule." Fu Hua said to her before walking into the kitchen with the pack of water in his hand.

He took out the bottles of water and stacked them in the fridge (even though it was off) before turning to Jia Li to ask...

"Is the food ready?"

"Yes, I will serve it now." Jia Li replied without turning to look at him.

Fu Hua wanted to say something to her, but Feng Alix who has been standing outside the door walked into the kitchen and asked, "Fu Hua, who is she? Is she a maid?"

She felt that there was something off about the relationship between him and the woman he was talking to and had to ask that question.

Fu Hua turned to look at her with a frown, "This is my wife, does she look like a maid to you? Please check your language."

Jia Li was surprised that he would acknowledge her as his wife in front of his girlfriend, the bitter feeling in her heart, slowly dissipated as she relaxed.

Feng Alix felt the blood drain from her body as her face turned ashen-white.

She tried to smile, but her facial expression was too ugly.

"Fu Hua, what kind of joke is this? Please stop it, you're not good at it."

"You just said that I'm not good at joking, that means you know me very well, and know that I don't joke. I am married, and this is my wife, Jia Li." Fu Hua said, making it clear to her.

Feng Alix was still in a state of shock when Fu Hua introduced Jia Li to her.

"Jia Li, this is my ex-girlfriend, Feng Alix. I have mentioned her to you before." Fu Hua said to Jia Li.

"Oh!" Jia Li said as she turned to glance over at Feng Alix. Seeing the state she was in, Jia Li couldn't bring herself to say 'hello' to her.

Jia Li didn't want to get involved in their matter, because from the look of things, Feng Alix had no idea of who she was, and that Fu Hua was already married.

Jia Li didn't have time to dwell on their matter, so she turned off the gas and started to dish the food.

"Fu...Fu Hua, what's the meaning of this? When did you get married and how come you didn't say a thing to me?" Feng Alix asked after a while. She felt her heart was in pain.

"Now that you are asking, I will answer you." Fu Hua replied before walking out of the kitchen.

Feng Alix glanced at Jia Li's back before following Fu Hua to the sitting room.

"I got married to Jia Li around the ending of September. So, now that you know that I'm married, don't call or text me anymore. If it's work-related, you know the right person to meet." Fu Hua said to her without caring about her emotions.
