Chapter 113 - Threat

"You have 3 seconds to get out of my sight. I'm in a good mood today so leave before I change my mind," Hao Xuan said with an annoyed expression. Why the hell were these guys following him for no reason?

"YOU! Alright, don't say I never warned you," the leader of the group waved his hand and all the others took out different weapons and got in attacking stances.

A vein was bulging on Hao Xuan's forehead. "Alright, so be it," he clenched his fist and circulated the Force Qi and as he was getting ready to attack, he heard a familiar voice from behind the men.

"N-Ninth brother, please calm down!" Sixth squeezed through the encirclement and walked up to Hao Xuan with hurried steps.

"Hehe, brother where's your spirit band? Why didn't you call me when you got here?" although he had a smile on his face, he was sweating like a pig.

Hao Xuan frowned looking at his condition, "Sixth brother, what's wrong with you? Do you have to go to the toilet?"

"Eh?" Sixth was stunned speechless. "Brother, how could I worry about something like that with you here??" he thought inwardly.

Peter and the other three guys also got up and followed after Sixth since it would make them look bad in front of the girls if the youngest guy was fighting while they were sitting by idly.

They came next to Sixth and Hao Xuan and faced off against the other group.

"What's this? You called for backup? No wonder you weren't worried. But alas, it won't change anything," the leader was slightly taken aback at first but then he smiled looking at the other guy's cultivation levels.

His group was all at the Earth realm with a couple at Origin Realm excluding him. He could feel Hao Xuan's level which was Origin Realm stage 1 while all the others were lower than him. He didn't even pay any attention to Sixth since he looked like a teenager.

Unbeknownst to him, the only person he ignored completely was at the Spirit realm stage 4 and could kill them with a snap of his fingers. Yet that same person was worried sick over Hao Xuan's reaction to them.

"Oi, piss off. Tell fatty Shu that I'll break his legs again if he keeps pulling this shit," Sixth shouted at the leader of the group, trying to scare them away.

"Omg, what are they doing? And why is little brother Jun acting so aggressively against those thugs? He will get hurt," said a girl worryingly from the table. Jun was Sixth's real name.

"Isn't he in the military? I think it should be fine," Lois who was usually quiet, spoke up, prompting everyone in the hall to look at her.

The leader's eyes constricted when he heard her. He turned around and looked at Sixth, "So you're in the military? A little brat like you? Heh, a lowly soldier dares to stand against me? Do you know who my brother is? He is a captain in the Royal guard!"

The expressions of all the guys excluding Peter, Hao Xuan, and Sixth changed after hearing that. A royal guard captain had to be at least Origin Realm stage 5. All of them were strong warriors and couldn't be underestimated. They had more than 80 people under them as well.

"Oi, isn't this bad? It's the royal guard you know!" one of the guys whispered into Peter's ear who could only shake his head at the statement.

Under normal circumstances that would indeed be the case but since Sixth was in the Red Legion, the royal guard couldn't do anything to him.

Everyone looked at them with even more interest. One was a military man, and the other had the backing of a Royal guard captain.

Hao Xuan was at his limit. As he was about to speak up, the leader opened his mouth again.

"Hehe, I've already messaged my cousin. He should be here within a few minutes. Kneel now and beg for forgiveness, otherwise, it won't end well!" he said smugly.

"Ohh? Otherwise what? What exactly are you going to do?" Sixth who was initially angry couldn't help but get amused hearing his threat.

"Otherwise...I.....I will drag out your families onto the street and beat them until your ancestors can't even recognize them," he replied arrogantly.

Sixth wanted to banter with him some more but his threat suddenly took a turn for worse. "Just a simple fight like this and you want to drag out our families?" even the other 3 guys that had some reluctance at first got angry hearing that.

"Enough, this is getting out of hand now," Sixth raised his hand, and just as he was about to make a move, he felt a gust of wind from his left and Hao Xuan slowly walked in front of him.

No one had noticed how Hao Xuan was until he stood towering over the leader and looking down at him as if he had heard the most amusing joke.

"You will drag out my family? You will beat them? You?" Hao Xuan enunciated 'you' as his expression turned calmer.

"Oh shit, Ninth brother wai-" Sixth was about to stop him but the leader who had moved back a couple of steps and taken out his own weapon stared straight into Hao Xuan's eyes before speaking.

"Yeah, me. So what?" he said with gritted teeth, getting angry at himself for panicking earlier.

"Good. That's all I wanted to hear," Hao Xuan smiled at him which mesmerized all the girls that just now got a clear look at him.

Sixth suddenly waved his hand and all the other men fell down unconscious, but it was too late for the leader who was already dangling 2 feet in the air.

Hao Xuan was gripping his head like a ball and was slowly increasing the pressure while smiling.

"You? You will drag out MY family? How?" he asked while tilting his head to the side.

*Badump*Badump*

Beatrice, who was the girl that was trying to set Sixth up with her cousin, was staring at Hao Xuan with a flushed face. She skipped a beat looking at his demeanor, while everyone else was shocked and left with mouths agape.

"Stop! Let me go!" the leader first tried to attack him with his weapon but it wouldn't even reach Hao Xuan so he shouted while trying to free himself from his grasp but it was no use.

"Ninth brother, don't mind these little guys, let me handle them," Sixth quickly came up to Hao Xuan and smiled, trying to calm him down.

"Brother, I just want to see how he will beat my family," Hao Xuan looked over at Sixth and smiled once again.

"B-Brother," Sixth got closer to him and whispered, "There are too many witnesses, you can't kill him. Even though he is at fault, we can deal with him later."

Hao Xuan obviously didn't have any intention of eating him and he knew Sixth was worried about that. He didn't clarify on purpose as it was just too much fun watching Sixth panic like that.

"Haha, sure brother, if you think that's the best option," he laughed and let go of the leader's head who fell down to his knees.

Sixth let out a breath of relief and knocked out the leader with a snap of his fingers. Of course, no one actually thought it was Sixth that had done all that to these men. They just saw Hao Xuan move and everyone fell unconscious while the leader almost wet himself being lifted like a rag doll so naturally, they were under the impression that it was his doing.

"Hahaha, senior sisters, I'm sorry to have ruined the mood. I'll drop these guys out and we can go somewhere fun!" he smiled at the ladies who were sitting there speechless.

"You guys sit, I'll be back," he said to Hao Xuan and Peter and dragged all the men to the elevator.

Hao Xuan just then noticed the girls and got slightly embarrassed.

"Ah, hello," he said with awkwardly and gave a slight bow.

Ever since he was young, he had never been in a romantic relationship or even interacted with any females like that. Even Aria and Mia that were close to him in Mad Saints were like colleagues and his subordinates so he never once thought about them like that.

But looking at these beautiful women all staring him in this casual setting made him uncomfortable.

"B-Brother, I'll help," he quickly turned around and followed after Sixth.

Beatrice who was in a daze suddenly woke up when Hao Xuan left and stood up as well.

"We should help them as well, it's not good to let little brother Jun and that.....'person' handle all that," she said with red cheeks. It was easy for all the girls to notice the change and they smiled.

In this group, Lois was the lone, young beauty who barely interacted with anyone, whereas Beatrice was the more mature leader who with her perfect hourglass figure would put many women to shame.

And with her kind smile and caring attitude, she was always the most popular one wherever she went.

"I agree. It wouldn't be good to let just the two of them go like this," said one of the guys trying to gain favor with her.

Lois looked at Beatrice and shook her head. Sure the guy was good looking but that was no reason to swoon over him like this. Nonetheless, they all got up and went downstairs.

Shu who was the boss of the unconscious men was standing next to his ugly little car, looking at it like a long lost lover.

"You dumbass, how many times do I have to whip your fat behind to stop you from making a fool out of yourself?" Sixth's voice came from the entrance of the restaurant and he came out and threw all of them in front of him.

*GASP*

Shu gasped in an extremely overdramatic fashion and looked at Sixth like a monster, "How could you kill all of them? They were only messing around a bit!"

"Shut the hell up. They're not dead, just knocked out. Take them and get the hell out of my sight," he said while kicking the leader who flew towards Shu like a bullet.

Luckily Shu's cultivation wasn't low either so he caught him.

"Why do you keep messing with my plans? What did I ever do to you?" he asked like a wife who had just found her husband with another woman.

Now it was Sixth's turn to get angry. "You really want me to send you away myself?" he asked while making a fist which scared Shu even more.

"I-I'm going, b-but not because you told me to!" he gathered all the men and threw them on top of the ugly little car he was admiring just before and got in.

The restaurant's doors opened and all the others walked out, led by Beatrice and Lois.

Beatrice smiled when she saw Hao Xuan and walked next to him and stood there. Hao Xuan's body locked up and he started sweating.

"Haha, sorry senior sisters. Let's go and do some shopping," Sixth said enthusiastically looking at the women.

"Sure," Beatrice nodded with a smile and peered at Hao Xuan, "W-Will this person be joining us as well?"

"Ah, I never introduced you guys. This is my brother from the military. We are in the same unit," Sixth finally introduced him.

"Hello, I'm Hao Xuan," he nodded back at everyone.. They all introduced themselves and were about to set off when a commotion was heard from the left and several dozen soldiers in gold armor came rushing down the street, surrounding them.
