She rolled her eyes, "Says the man who can't even hold his drink." Li Bingbing turned to the bartender. "Give me three bottles of beer."

"No. Give her one." Xia Sinian quickly said. "I'll double the pay."

Li Bingbing frowned. "Five! Give me five bottles!"

"A gla.s.s of beer will be enough for you."

"Sinian! F*ck you! Why are you even here? Go mind your own business! I am not your business anymore, remember?!" She growled angrily.

Xia Sinian lowered his head and was quiet for a while. He actually noticed the change in Li Bingbing's att.i.tude when she came back with Lu Xian Yu. Even if he looked like he didn't care, he couldn't stop himself from doing it.

He knew that something must have happened between Li Bingbing and Lu Xian Yu. He was telling himself not to think about it, and yet, he still ended up following her out. He wanted to make sure that she would return home safely.

He never expected her to head to the bar. Afraid that others might come and take advantage of her, he decided to show himself to her.

"Didn't you say that we're back to being friends? I'll accept that." Xia Sinian said as he looked at Li Bingbing. "I don't mind being your friend again."

She blinked a few times. She was quite surprised by what he said. After staring at him for a while, she started laughing out loud. "Friends? Do you think I was serious with that?!"

"No. I didn't think you were serious with it." Xia Sinian said with a blank look on his face. "This is an offer from me for the sake of our past."

"You want to get back with a 'used rag' like me? Wow! I'm truly surprised, Xia Sinian." She laughed lightly.

He furrowed his brows. Her words stabbed his heart but it was his own words against him and this made him feel more guilty. He didn't mean those words to her, he tried to be as harsh as possible to her so that she would stop from approaching him. "I'm not trying to get you back."

"Oh sure. We both know that you still love me," said Li Bingbing with full of sureness. "You also know that I still love you so what's the use in 'going back to being friends'? It's pointless!" She grabbed his hand and looked at his finger, there was no ring around it. "See this? I always knew that you were lying about having a wife!"

Xia Sinian quickly pulled his hand back. "I'm not."

She huffed, not believing him. "Right. As if you just didn't want your grandparents to know that you're married."

Li Bingbing gave the bartender a glare. "Give me my beer now! I'm your customer!"

"Yes, ma'am!" The bartender quickly went and gave her a bottle of beer. He got scared with Li Bingbing's scary glare, he felt like if he was not going to give her one, she might jump over to beat him up.

Li Bingbing quickly took the bottle and chugged it down her throat.

Xia Sinian glared when he saw how fast she moved just so he won't be able to stop her. Did she think that he would just let it go just like that? He grabbed the bottle from her.

"Hey!"

"You're not going to drink tonight." Xia Sinian said sternly.

Li Bingbing wanted to punch him. One second he was giving her a cold shoulder and was ignoring her and now he was acting so concerned about her. She wanted to punch him and make him admit that he still loved her. "You blind bast*rd!"

Xia Sinian's lips ended up curling up when he heard her remark though he didn't say anything about it.
