Li Bingbing came running from her room toward them, she stood beside Lu Xian Yu and was panting lightly, "Mom... Dad... ha... ha... what are you doing here? Why didn't you gave me a call that you two are coming today?"

"Well..." Mu Xijiu moved her gaze from Lu Xian Yu to Li Bingbing, "We wanted to give you a surprise... Bingbing, who is he?"

"Qiao Man didn't say anything about this. Wasn't she supposed to be taking care of you?" asked s.h.i.+ Fen as he crossed his arms.

"I really love Manman's cooking so I decided to have a small cooking contest between Manman and Xian Yu, as you can already see, Xian Yu won so he's here. Besides, Qiao Man is my personal bodyguard, the moment you gave her to me, she became mine. She will do whatever I say. I gave her a vacation since she's been too busy lately."

Lu Xian Yu looked at Li Bingbing in disbelief. She was so good at lying! If he was an outsider who didn't know a thing between them, he would have believed her already.

Mu Xijiu was confident that Li Bingbing won't fall for a guy like him so she wasn't worried about it. She turned to Li Bingbing and smiled, "Your father and I are going to fly to New Jersey tomorrow that's why we wanted to check on you before we leave."

Li Bingbing smiled, "I'm not a child anymore that you need to check on me every time you leave the country with dad, mom."

"I know but we can't help it, we're your parents."

"If you'll excuse me, I was working with some fruit salad earlier, would you like to have some?" Lu Xian Yu offered.
