Xia Sinian was surprised when she was able to recognize him. How did she know it was him? His grandfather failed to recognize him, yet Li Bingbing did without hesitation or doubt.

Li Bingbing's agitated face instantly turned dark. She glared at him, cut the distance between their bodies, started hitting him on his chest. "Where's my beloved pillow?! How dare you took it away from your body!" Her wrist almost broke from the impact. His chest was as hard as concrete.

"..." Xia Sinian didn't know how to respond or act. He was not expecting this reaction from her. She completely dodged all the made-up scenarios Xia Sinian addressed in his head.

Tears started forming on the side of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks as she shouted, "You're so hard! You're not soft anymore! How can you do this, Xia Sinian?! Give me back my adorable chubby hubby!"

Hearing the commotion, Li Bingbing's mother couldn't help but check on what was happening, but she was instantly stunned by Xia Sinian's handsomeness that beamed into the house. After regaining her composure, she found her voice, "Bingbing... who is he?"

Li Bingbing caught her mother's curious gaze with her red and wet eyes. She shook her head, "Stop goggling at him, mom! He's mine!"

Mu Xijiu's eyes sparkled when Li Bingbing's words struck her ears. It was a turning point! Did Li Bingbing finally find a proper boyfriend? "If he's your boyfriend, then let him in! Why are you hitting him?" The vicarious excitement radiated from her tone.

Li Bingbing pouted and slammed the door shut before she glared at Xia Sinian. Her eyes pierced holes all over his body "See?! Now all women will drool over you! Don't you love me anymore?" She cried harder as she continued hitting his chest as if it were a punching bag. "Your chest is not soft anymore! Your body is all hard! I hate you—"

She was cut off when he bent down and kissed her. Li Bingbing's eyes went wide because of his sudden kiss. The kiss sent an electric shock throughout her body. She wanted it to last forever, yet she wanted to pull away. Her emotion scrambled all over the place as she couldn't think straight anymore. It really made her shut her mouth, but her tears continued to flow down her face. She was still very mad when she saw him this way.

Xia Sinian pulled away and gave her the bouquet of flowers. A mixture of ten or fifteen roses of all shades of red filled every corner of the bouquet. The greenness of their leaves indicates the quality of their upbringing. Their pleasant aroma, which could put any mind at ease, flooded the room and the nose of Li Bingbing.

Despite the rage that surged in Li Bingbing's heart, she couldn't throw something that Xia Sinian gave her. She buried her face in his hard chest and sobbed, "I hate you... I hate you... I hate you..."

Xia Sinian couldn't help but chuckle. He hugged her by her waist as his hand stroked her head and hair to comfort her. He twirled her long, silky hair with his index finger. The other hand, slowly stroking the back of her head, buried her face farther into his chest.

In New Zealand, Xia Sinian properly started the diet plan Xia Meilin gave him. He still wanted to get slim for Li Bingbing so that he can proudly stand beside her. Who would have thought Li Bingbing would react like that? She was able to recognize him easily so... does that mean that she had already known that he would look this way if he lost weight? This thought and ones similar to it swirled in his mind until Li Bingbing pulled out of the hug.

Li Bingbing had always known that Xia Sinian was such a gem, that's why she tried her best to keep him hers. Her method of keeping him, however, was peculiar. He was a hidden gem reserved for herself, yet she never thought that a day like this would ever come. At that moment, flashbacks of the times where Xia Sinian hinted for a physical transformation rolled in her mind. Looking back on all those memories, she blamed herself for taking the hints for granted.

"I didn't recognize you. It's amazing how you transformed into this." Mu Xijiu said with a smile. After the somewhat awkward exchange between Li Bingbing and Xia Sinian at the front door, her mother invited Xia Sinian inside after she made the house a little more presentable.

From a round balloon, Xia Sinian turned and transformed into an Adonis that can make the heart of any maiden beat faster than a car speeding through a highway!

Sitting on a couch in the corner of the room, Li Bingbing didn't utter a word the whole time. This was partly because she ignored Xia Sinian's words that bounced all over the room because she was mad at him. In addition, her pessimistic thoughts occupied a large portion of her mind.

"Auntie, may I borrow your daughter for today?" Xia Sinian asked politely with a small smile on his lips. He twisted his neck to face Li Bingbing. His eyes studied her figure, admiring her scintillating beauty.

Mu Xijiu chuckled, "But of course, sweetheart. You can even take her away from here."

"I'm not going away." Li Bingbing huffed before she stood up and stomped out of the room. The sound of a door locking echoed a few seconds after she left. Silence filled the ears of Mu Xijiu and Xia Sinian.

Xia Sinian sighed, he could clearly see that Li Bingbing was mad at him. He noticed her mother leave the room with the corner of his eyes. He didn't think much of it as thoughts about Li Bingbing soon flooded his mind. He strained his mind for a way to pacify the creature

A few seconds after she left, Mu Xijiu returned with an air of exhilaration. She bounced around the couches like a bunny and gave him a small key to Li Bingbing's room, "She'll be fine once you comfort her, trust me."

Xia Sinian chuckled a bit before adjusting his gla.s.ses, "I hope so...," he muttered. "Thank you, auntie." He stood up and tip-toed to Li Bingbing's room, he slotted the key into the hole and slowly turned it. Unfortunately for him, the door screeched like a horrified child. He could've sworn that he'd seen the door smirk at him as he entered the room.

"Bingbi—"

"Go away! I don't want to see you!" Li Bingbing threw a pillow at him, crossed her arms, and gave him her back. She sat on her bed, her hair tangent to the white sheets of the bed.

Xia Sinian had a helpless look on his face. She was a stubborn girl; it'd be a hard thing to woo her.

He slowly walked toward her bed and lied down beside her. He snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her towards his body, "Bingbing."

Li Bingbing closed her eyes and decided to ignore him. She planned to ignore him the whole day. How could he decide to diet without telling her? How audacious of him!

Of course, Li Bingbing would still tell him no if he asked her about the diet but still! Her precious, fluffy boyfriend was gone! She could feel the hardness of his chest and the firmness of his arms, and she didn't like it at all! She preferred it when he was soft and filled with fat. He was her favorite pillow. Now all of that was gone. Li Bingbing could only sulk at her predicament.

Since Xia Sinian didn't know what to say to her, he just kept on hugging her and stroking her smooth, delicate arm and hair until fell asleep. He was tired because, as soon as his flight landed, he rushed directly to Li Bingbing's place. It didn't take long before he fell asleep.

Li Bingbing wondered why Xia Sinian wasn't trying to talk to her. She finally mustered the courage to turn her head and look at him after having an internal argument with herself.

His sleeping face was so angelic. His lashes were long, and his thin, pink lips looked soft. She reached out with her free arm and stroked his cheek with her thumb. She worked her hand around his face and into his soft black hair. It was easy for her to recognize him because Li Bingbing has seen his real beauty.

Just like this, she would always stare on his sleeping face. The chubbiness of his cheeks disappeared and was replaced by a chiseled face. It seems like Li Bingbing must guard him well from all the b.i.t.c.hes outside... but how can she do that if Xia Sinian was going to college while she was stuck in her last year of high school?

Li Bingbing didn't want to choke him because of her possessiveness. She wanted the best for him. Sighing in her mind, she started thinking of something to make him avoid other girls.
