After Li Bingbing graduated from college, she moved out of her mother's place since she wanted to be independent. Her mother thought that it was because of her job that was why, it was fine for her.

A week after graduation, Li Bingbing was invited by Xia Meilin, her best friend, to the high school reunion that everyone prepared. A year ago?! Lin Qingge?! Li Bingbing never expected that Lin Qingge could do something like that. She was kind and friendly and she never thought that such a woman could be evil inside.

"She'll pay for this-"

"She already did." Xia Meilin said as she looked at Li Bingbing with a small smile. "Grandma already made her family pay."

Li Bingbing quickly looked into the News about it and she found out that the Lin family was indeed been destroyed.

Li Bingbing wasn't really fond of checking the News that's why she wasn't able to find out about what was happening around her and she regretted that. She could have done something for Xia Meilin and she could have been beside her throughout her tough times and yet she failed in doing that part.

"Let's forget about it, okay? We cannot change what has already happened."

"Do you know who did this to you?" Li Bingbing asked seriously. If only she could get a name, she could have haunted the man who ruined her best friend.

Xia Meilin was glad that Li Bingbing was so understanding. She adjusted her son as she carried him, she smiled as she faced her son, "This is my son, Xia Gua."

Li Bingbing blinked a few times when she heard the name of her son, "You... named him after a fruit?"

"My favorite fruit!" Xia Meilin grinned. "Xiao Gua (Little Melon), meet your auntie Bingbing."

"Aguu!"

Li Bingbing's heart trembled when she saw Little Melon reached his tiny hands to her while smiling happily at her.

Since Xia Meilin looked like she didn't have a problem with Little Melon despite being a child born out of a traumatizing experience, Li Bingbing decided to accept the small guy.
