Later that night, Li Bingbing sent the details that she found about the man who tried to kill Lu Yifeng.

Xia Meilin took her phone and looked at it. She started reading through it.

Lu Yifeng's hold around her waist tightened which made her look at him. "Did I wake you up? I'm sorry if I did."

She placed the phone away before she faced him. "Go back to sleep, darling."

"Who messaged you?"

"Li Bingbing. She just gave me a report about the man who tried to kill you." She answered honestly. "She found him."

"She works fast." He chuckled. To be able to find the masked man was incredible. "So, what did she have about him?"

"That man's name is Ming De... After he left us, he entered a minivan but later on, his body was thrown out of the van. Li Bingbing saw this from the surveillance camera that was around the area. She was able to identify him after seeing the face of his dead body. I already told her to let the police know about this."

Lu Yifeng's face went blank, "They killed him because he failed to kill me."

Xia Meilin nodded. "Whoever that person is, they're being careful and they're taking precautions. What should we do about this, Yifeng?"

"Just let me handle it, okay?" He buried his face in the crook of her neck. "It's getting late, we should sleep."

Xia Meilin sighed and closed her eyes. Since Lu Yifeng wasn't in a great condition that night, she didn't continue on what she planned for him. Besides, she was a beginner, there's no way she'll do such shameful acts! She doesn't even know how to tell him that she wanted to tie him up!

While thinking of Li Bingbing's suggestion, she instantly fell asleep. Being pregnant made her sleepy that's why she didn't have a hard time falling asleep.

Days pa.s.sed and Xia Sinian was still hesitant on whether to tell his family about his condition despite how many times Li Bingbing reminded him of it.
