Lu Yifeng agreed with Mo Jing's words. This was what made Xia Meilin start falling for him. He has already experienced the consequences of forcing her and it didn't do any good between them. Lu Xian Yu lowered his head as he was being lectured by his brother and Mo Jing.

He placed his cup on the coffee table and stood up. "I'll take my leave now. I remember that I still have something to do."

Lu Yifeng watched his brother leave. He didn't want him to make the same mistake he did when it came to the women they love. If he can help his brother walk on the right path, then it would really be the best for them.

Lu Yifeng stood up and prepared to leave. By the time he walked towards the black Rolls-Royce car, a black Maybach car arrived.

The car's back door was opened by one of Lu Yifeng's men. Xia Meilin went out of the car and saw Lu Yifeng. She gave him a smile as she walked towards him.

"Ah, it's a good thing that I caught up with you." She held his hand. "How did it go with your brother?"

"I managed to calm him down." Lu Yifeng bowed his head and kissed her forehead. "Let's go for a date tonight."

She blinked a few times, "Date?" She chuckled softly, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks. "Do married couples still do that?"

"I don't care about what others do. I want to go out with you." He caressed her cheek with his thumb. "What about it?"

Xia Meilin couldn't help but smile happily at his offer. This was going to be her first date with him so she couldn't help but feel excited about it. "Can we go watch some movies in the theater?"

"Watch a movie?"

Xia Meilin nodded and grinned at him, "Then we can walk around and try some street food! You can try all kinds of snacks from different countries!"

Lu Yifeng furrowed his brows at this. That was not the kind of date he had in mind. And besides, he has never tried any street food. Were they even clean in the first place?

Judging by Lu Yifeng's complicated look, she could tell that he was hesitant on going to places like those, after all, he's a rich man who always received the best things in life.

She pursed her lips and looked up at him with watery eyes, "You don't want to?"

Seeing how his wife was about to cry, he held back his words and change them instead, "We will go to the places you want."

In a blink of an eye, Xia Meilin's sulking face was replaced by a bright one. "Great! Thank you, darling!"

Lu Yifeng's lips curled up when he saw how happy she became. He patted her head gently. "I need to get going. I'll see you later."

She gave him a nod although before he could enter the car, she held his coat and pulled him down to her level. She tiptoed and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

"Take care." She whispered softly as she leaned back and stared at him with her blus.h.i.+ng face.

He felt the iciness in his chest melting as a warm feeling started growing inside him. His gaze turned gentle as he stared down at her. "Mm. Thank you."

After watching Lu Yifeng leave, Xia Meilin went to their room. She opened the cabinet and started choosing clothes to wear tonight. Her face instantly became dark when she saw the underwear she has when she opened her drawer.

She quickly took her phone and dialed Li Bingbing's number.

"h.e.l.lo?"

"Bingbing! Help me! I don't have anything to wear for tonight! We need to go shopping! I don't have some s.e.xy underwear! Help me buy one!"
