317 Plan A

It was all but non-existent by the time the reproductive organ shaped object split open into a ma.s.s of tentacles.

The vibe s.h.i.+fted from Braveheart to anime-esque x-rated Cronenberg parody in a heartbeat.

The fact that two proper looking albeit bullet riddled and disheveled men stepped out was absolutely no help beyond adding to the confusion by several notches.

Especially considering that one of these men, was not briefed on the whole flight itinerary when he purchased tickets on Suicide Air.

He certainly did not know that the whole black out in the middle of a death dive was part of the experience package.

Thinking instead, that he had in fact pa.s.sed on a little earlier, relaxing himself prematurely into the afterlife's not welcoming embrace.

And if one were to recall everything about Moto-tsune up to this point, they would remember that he was trying to keep a pretty tight s.h.i.+p on his nether regions, so that it didn't... Spill..

Well... Judging by the fact that a large patch of his undergarments was now a shade darker than previously, obviously he didn't.

Luckily for him, there far more pressing concerns than the level of humidity in his drawers.

For one, they were smack dab in the center of the line where the two armies clash. If the whole thing started up once more they'd be squashed simply by the sheer ma.s.s of soldiers coming in from both sides.

In the end though, he could only hope the man that brought him here had a plan beyond this point.

He watched as Zhao Wei stepped forward. Though he was injured, his body still gave off the vibe of a dangerous beast. Rippling muscles hiding under thick coats that did little to mask the threat it was covering.

The j.a.panese waited with baited breath hoping for another miracle.

Heck, they arrived here in one piece!

Which, anyone who went through what he just did, would testify that it was, in fact.. a miracle.

They probably received more wounds while he was driving, than when they were flying off the explosion of the equivalent of several live grenades Zhao Wei had purposely ignited under them.

Unfortunately there's a reason miracles were called miracles. They weren't like magic tricks that were prepared in advance. And evidently Zhao Wei didn't have any more rabbits to pull out of his hat... Well except for Panda that is.

Closing in on him, Moto-tsune spied on the expression plastered onto his face. He'd judge it as a very confident smile under any other circ.u.mstances, but seeing how slow every second pa.s.sed as he watched it, it was pretty conclusive that the man had frozen.

Moto-tsune, stared nervously at the anxious crowd who was looking intently in their direction. Then he turned back to Zhao Wei.

Like it or not, he had nowhere to turn to besides the man who had brought him here in the first place.

"Hey! HEY!! Pull yourself together!" Snapping his fingers in front of Zho Wei's face to pull him back to reality.

"Huh? oh..." Zhao Wei snapped out of his stupor but was still in a blur on his plan from here onwards. To be honest, he was prepared to pull out a really big card to end things cleanly and swiftly.

But the moment he stepped out of the coc.o.o.n of tentacles ready to unleash his skills, he noticed that both sides had already stopped.

It was like a man seeing two people fighting on the street, as far as Zhao Wei was concerned, the easiest way to stop them was to knock the both of them down so they'd stop injuring each other.

With beasts being his only sources of social interactions for a while there, beating the opposition down was always plan A. Which in light of the fact that he was only planning to stop at plan A could be seen as extremely humane from his perspective.

If it were up to the beasts, they'd finish it with eating both sides weakened from a fight with each other, which in a way was... a continuation of plan A.. of sorts..

Or at the very least, if they were of the same species, the beasts would make the losers serve under the winner.

And if these guys were beasts instead of humans, Zhao Wei might've actually done just that. With these numbers, how much meat would that be for him.

But at his point none of those options, benevolent or not seemed even slightly applicable, because when the man wanted to knock down the two people, they suddenly stopped their fight altogether.

In a normal society that was the time to mediate between the two, calming down both sides with eloquent words and charisma. A iota of which, would not be found even if one scanned every single one of Zhao Wei's cells.

For awhile there he was trying to figure out another plan, but found that forming one that didn't involve explosions, punching something or putting his life in extreme peril was strangely much harder.

In the end, with the clock still running, he decided to make it simple for himself.

Why make plan B...

If plan A hadn't actually failed..

Besides.

He liked plan A.
