128 Mine

It was just a moment but she felt extreme killing intent oppressing her. She wanted to move forward but no matter how she planned her next move she could only see herself being ripped apart as soon as she got close.

There was no rational explanation to it, just that as a warrior herself she felt death waiting for her. All of these thoughts flashed through her mind the moment his killing intent washed over her.

The next moment a large slap rang out. Eyisha was bewildered at what was going on as she looked at Zhao Wei whose killing intent closed back up. "Sorry.. sorry! I couldn't control myself for a moment there." Zhao Wei pleaded with his hands clapped together.

Eyisha really didn't know what to do. And what was she to do when she realized that her whole effort in fighting him was only effective because he was holding back.

So what if she fought him again? The moment she's about to kill him, if his switch flipped and he returned into the killer, wouldn't she just be sticking her head into the tiger's mouth?

'I don't think I want to do this anymore' Eyisha thought to herself, but Zhao Wei was already moving towards her.

Bracing herself she threw out several attacks attempting to just keep him away as she tried to figure out her next move. Unlike before where Zhao Wei was s.h.i.+fting his upper body and all to avoid the attacks, this time he stood still!

And yet his whole body s.h.i.+fted to avoid getting struck. It was like someone cut him out of a picture in photo shop and started dragging him around.

This fight no longer made sense to Eyisha, she knew he was a great fighter but she'd never seen anything move like that. Even Guru needed to lift his legs to move, it was just so fast that n.o.body sees it.

What she couldn't see was that Zhao Wei had activated the Wrap Trap underneath the palm of his feet. The tentacles were working hard, wiggling around to carry him from one point to another. It saved him a lot of strength for the time being but all it was doing was prolonging the stalemate and he was at the losing end.

Like it or not, controlling the individual tentacles of the wrap trap to move him perfectly so as not to make any openings for Eyisha to exploit required his full concentration.

Each attack had a follow up, so if he moved too far or too close he'd have a harder time maneuvering himself in preparation for the next one.

But then he had an idea so crazy it just might work. He kept dodging the attacks, weaving beautifully inside the torrent of jabs, stabs and strikes, it could be seen that his perception of her rhythm had almost become perfect as he had already begun moving before she initiated attack, it was as if her trident was being led on by Zhao Wei.

He danced amidst the lightninig quick blades of the trident as well as explosions that were set off all around him from the spray of her Tantra.

He knew her so well that if he closed his eyes he could probably still evade her attacks for quite some time.

She swung her trident down with her left hand, spinning it behind her back and pa.s.sing it on to her right hand to convert the momentum into a stab.

She'd already gotten used the fact that she couldn't touch him but this time he'd moved a little too far to the left in his last dodge. Spinning her trident so that the p.r.o.ngs of her trident were aligned horizontally, one of it perfectly aligned with his left arm.

If this one stabbed in, the Tantra wouldn't just badly burn him like the last time, instead it would completely cause it to come off. With it's close proximity to his heart the explosion might just directly kill him.

He tried to s.h.i.+ft his body when he saw it coming but it was already too late, blood sprayed into the air as the head sunk into his flesh. At first Eyisha was worried as she felt her attack sc.r.a.pe against something hard under his clothes, but a satisfied smile followed after as she felt her weapon sink into flesh.

Zhao Wei's hand held onto the shaft of the trident as he dropped down to the ground. Eyisha smiles triumphantly as she waited for her Tantra to take effect. But after a few seconds she frowned as nothing happened to him. The explosion of flesh and bones which should've happened didn't come.

Her eyes went wide as she saw Zhao Wei smirk, she wanted to pull out her weapon and finish him off but felt pain in both her hands. Her palms and parts of her fore arm which were touching the trident ripped apart as she let go of it. Zhao Wei pulled out the trident stuck in him. "Sorry, but it's mine now. But I could return it..." he spoke.

She turned to run and reached a good distance before she felt herself fall to the ground, her neck stuck between two p.r.o.ngs of the trident that had embedded itself in the ground. Two cuts lined itself on either side of her neck where the blades of the trident brushed against her skin.
