"What goods do you have?" I asked him as my eyes were nearly glowing at that moment I looked at him, also I craned my neck out to get closer. And whatever Hagrid saw on my face at that moment, either the hunger or greed or maybe something else that was just so primordial that words could not be used to describe it. Whatever it was, Hagrid did not like it at all.

The guy was sweating buckets, and as quickly as they came, he wiped them off as they rolled down his forehead. "Well, I do not have muc' in the way for things, but I could see what is around the hut right now." He said, as he quickly got up from his chair, nearly knocking it over in his haste. Then he was gone as quick as that, literally running away from little old me.

The little kid that every girl want to cuddle like some squish toy, but if you do think about it. Seeing some creepy s.h.i.+t on a little cute kid's face must be ten times worse, or that is at least what those horror movies told me.

I looked at him as he started to look around the hut as far as he could, and some indignation pa.s.sed through my face. But then I reminded myself, that the loot is coming forth, so hold it together.

After a while Hagrid came back, I do not know if the guy planed it to exactly when I cooled my head down or not. But I had to say, he had an implacable timing, he came back with a black box that looked very eerie and ghastly. He set it down right before me and started to explain what was going on.

"Remember those creatures I told you about that I found traces of in the Forbidden Forest?"

I looked at him with confusion clear as day on my face, the guy told me many stories, of many magical creatures that he ran into the forest. How am I suppose to remember them all of them?

Hagrid must have seen the bewilderment on my face, then he sighed out loud, with that clearly carrying his message. With another word he carried on and explaining what he meant. "I am talking about the magical creatures that are most likely beyond rank x.x.xXX, the four creatures that I found clues of in the Forbidden Forest." He worded out each syllable like he was explaining a hard concept to a child.

I totally ignored him and they only reply that I gave was, "Oh!" then nothing more. Seeing that I had nothing else to add Hagrid moved on, "I also told you last time that I found some remains of these creatures, right?"

My eyes widened at his remark and I took a second long, hard, stare at the box as my mind raced with the possibles coming right before me. Hagrid continued on, not releasing my shock or choosing to ignore it, "Well, in this box is the remains of one of the creatures, it was very difficult to get it but you deserve it for the amazin' cookbook you gave me. Also, it would do much better in your hands then it did in mine."

Before the man could finish whatever little soul touching speech he was making. I spoke up and the only words that left my mouth was, "Give me, give me!!!"

Hagrid looked at me with an offended expression on his face, but that was thrown into the back of my mind. All that mattered right now was this new amazing treasure right before my very own eyes.

I s.n.a.t.c.hed the box at once, when I saw that Hagrid was not handing it over. Can't the man see that dad needs this brand new toy? All I saw him do was make a fish popping sound with his mouth at the corner of my eyes when I took the box right out of his hand.

I opened it, and there it was on a small cus.h.i.+on, a pitch black feather the size of half my whole arm. The thing was radiating pure... what was the right word? I only felt it once, yes! It was pure death if I had to word it, and it was a very fitting word.

Finally, Hagrid awoke from his profound shock at my display of total disregard towards him, and saw me looking on at the feather with pure fascination on my face. He immediately shouted at me, "Do not touch it, you dunderhead! What did I tell you last time? When I found this feather out in the Forbidden Forest, the whole area around it was decaying to dust and ash, as if all the life was sucked out the place. Now, what do you think would happen if you touched it, huh?"

I rolled my eyes at him and said in a flat tone, "I already know that Hagrid, you story stated to come back to me, so do not worry." Trying to rea.s.suring the half giant, anyways, I thought to myself, what were you thinking, giving a kid a dangerous object like this.

If there is anyone that is irresponsible then it would be you man. But I did not voice those thoughts at all, since it would be unbecoming of me to insult and tease the very person who gifted me a princely gift like this.

Anyways who knows if he has more of those amazing treasures hidden some where in his hut, huh? So why go taunt him, when I could get some more stuff from him.
