113 Chapter 111: Ghost's Inquiry

----------------

Fred was interrupted for the second time, and this time, I was not endorsing the interruption at all. It was not me or George, who hindered Fred. Instead, this time, it was merely a voice that spoke over Fred, as he wanted to say something back to me.

It was a masculine voice, that was rich and honeyed toned. The voice came from everywhere all at once, and it was deep, and melodious at the same time. If I had to place it, then I must say, it was really like the voice of the devil, speaking to us. And we all hear what it said, loud and clear.

"Sorry to interrupt your bickering little ones, but I will have to politely ask you, to proceed on with explaining all the different types of ghosts you know." The voice said, immediately, gooseb.u.mps started to run throughout the course of my body and, especially, my arm. We are truly in a horror movie, I thought as I s.h.i.+vered at the idea.

Although the ghost sounded very polite, and it did even say that it was trying to be polite, it wasn't. I could feel the underlying threat and bloodl.u.s.t coming from the voice, it was crystal clear that if we did not do as it said, then it is game over for us.

Still, I had to try and find where this f.u.c.king this b.a.s.t.a.r.d is, so I craned my neck from side to side, trying to locate where the voice was coming from, but it was impossible. The place was covered in a sheet of pure darkness with only three small stars lighting the place, our wands. Forget finding the ghost, I could not even see a meter of s.p.a.ce right before me.

"Well then, why don't we get started right back up?" The voice asked, but it was clearly not a question but a command, and from that command, I could feel that it was losing patience. From that, I could tell that it really wanted some answers for something related to ghosts.

Before I could put any more thought into that, the ghost whispered, "I am talking to you little boy, with the golden hair..."

George notched me on the ribs with his elbow, then whispered to me in a voice that only he and I could hear and said. "Do as it says while I look for it."

I nodded my head at him slowly and carefully so that it would not be obvious to our polite ghost. That sounded like a good plan...really, the only plan we have, I guess.

So with that compromise that George and I came to, I got back into my speech on ghosts.

"As I was saying before good sir, there are many types of ghosts out there is the big wide world. Too many in fact to cover in one sitting, so I will be covering the main ones, if it is to your liking. What do you say?" I asked the ghosts, hoping against all hope, that he would show himself, so that I could light the f.u.c.ker with some of the spells that I got ready for especially him.

But he didn't, either he is too smart and he knows better than to show himself to a wizard so that he could be chalk filled with spells. Or he is a f.u.c.king coward, I think I will be going with a f.u.c.king coward.

Still, he did grace us by speaking up and saying, "Talk to me about wraiths, little golden one... I would appreciate it very much if you did."

Interesting I thought, very interesting... Why is he so interested in wraiths? It is like he w... No Way! That could not be possible. Mhh, but all clues point to it.

Thoughts, ideas, and suspicions kept on racing through my mind, but I decided it would be best to keep it to myself until this whole fiasco is over. So, I locked it all up in my heart then played things as if it was all normal, and did as I was commanded by the ghost.

"There is not much I do know about wraiths, good sir, but the few things I do know about them makes it absolutely clear that they should be feared and avoided at all cost.

One great wizard even went as far as to say that; 'these vile creatures of terror and horror make even the ghastly dementors of renown, look like nothing more than house kittens!'

Although I must admit, that he was a bit unhinged, so I would take whatever he says with a pinch of salt." I said, then I added something else, which was more of a commentary than any fun facts. "I do not understand what the thing is with craziness and wizardry."

As if the voice did not hear my brilliant commentary on wizards and witch. It decided to completely ignore my comment, and it must have thought it would be a much better idea to spend time speaking to itself.

I listened in the best I could and was rewarded by being able to catch a few of the things it was saying to itself. "Mhh, I think that thing was a wraith that s-" Then the next thing I caught was, "yes that is most likely." Not much to go on but it would have to do I suppose.

After it concluded it's own conversation to itself, it noticed us once more and remembered that there was a few little bugs in its territory. Time to clean out the trash, it thought to itself wickedly.

"Well, children. I thank you very much, from the deepest part of my heart, for sharing all that with me. For that, I will make sure that your deaths' will be as painless as possible."
