104 Chapter 102: Deathly Shroud

I took out a gla.s.s eye dropper from one of the shelves lining the walls of the laboratory. I reopened the flask, then put the eye dropper into the flask, withdrew a few drops of the potion.

Without further a due, I dripped a single tear like drop on to the rabbit's head. Then quickly closed up the cage, immediately, results came through. The little rabbit that was white all around, from head to toe, instantly transformed into a black fur rabbit. The fur of the rabbit became so black that it felt like all light was being sucked away by that black shade of fur.

Still, things did not stop at that, and why would it, this is a potion made from a rank x.x.xx.x.x magical creatures remains. What kind of powerful creature would this rank x.x.xx.x.x magical creatures be, if the only thing its remains could do is change the color of other creatures.

Following, the rabbit's change of color, its body now started to release a black cloud of gas, blocking my view entirely, of what is happening to the rabbit. Okay, I thought, this looks very ominous, let's just take a step back to be safe.

I watched the prosses go on... from a safe distance, you know like 10 steps back from the gla.s.s container. The black gas cloud got denser and denser, and it also started to slowly expand outward, slowly and steadily.

Woahhh! I thought to myself, this potion has to be pretty powerful. I only place one drop of this stuff, on to the rabbit head and this is the result. What would happen if I poured all of it on to the rabbit's head?

Then I asked myself the question that really mattered to me. What would happen to my enemies, if I poured this whole s.h.i.+t on to them? Well, I know one thing for sure, that it would be quite the ominous and dark sight, indeed.

While those thoughts raced around in the back of my mind, the potion's effect on the rabbit had come to its final stage. The black cloud of gas, that was coving the whole of the rabbit, started to disapparate all of the sudden for no apparent reason at all.

Finally, I was able to see the rabbit.... or what was left of it for that matter. What greeted my sight after the black cloud of gas was all gone, was not a pleasant sight at all. Even I, who has quite the tolerance for gruesome sights, felt sick.

The now black furred little rabbit was a sh.e.l.l of its former cute and adorable self. One of its eyeb.a.l.l.s melted clean off, so all that you could see for a left eyeball, was an empty socket. The skin and muscle of the rabbit's right arm was all gone, the only thing that was left was a burnt piece of bone sticking out.

The little cute noise of the rabbit, that use to be there, which you couldn't help yourself but to pinch and tickle was also gone. All that was left was a disgusting sight of the former cute pink reddish noise. The mouth of the rabbit too was burnt off, and you could see a clear sight of a full row of teeth.

I could have continued on to describe more and more of the hideous sight of which is the rabbit now. Like the missing left ear or the missing tail, maybe even the missing right leg paw. But staring at it any longer just made me sick to the very core.

I turned away from the rabbit, which is most likely dead now. I do not think that it would remain silent throughout the whole painful and agonizing prosses that it went through or stare off into the distance with a gla.s.sy eyed look on its face if it was alive.

I sighed to myself, feeling slightly quite bad and guilty to what happened to the rabbit, but as quick as it came, I throw it out of my mind. There was nothing I could do for the rabbit and somebody had to test the potion.

If I do not know whether my potions are working out the way they are supposed to do. I will be putting myself and those who I sell my potions to in danger. I cannot have that be happening, so it will always fall on to somebody to test my potions.

That somebody is these little critters. What is that my mother use to say, sometimes you got to do things you do not like or agree with, but you still have to carry it out no matter what.

Anyways, I now know that my potion works out perfectly well, too well for that matter.

The recipe I found in my mother's library was called the Deathly Shroud. This potion is very deadly like you just say, it is able to cover the target in a cloud like shroud then eat away from the target's life blood for one minute.

Presently, thanks to the giant feather from the rank x.x.xx.x.x magical creature the potion seems to have upgraded. Now the potions seem to cover a whole area with a black cloud like shroud then eat away at not only the life blood of a person but their flesh and bones.

I think I will keep the old name of the potion, Deathly Shroud. The potion is still sort of the same, but just more powerful, anyways I do not have a good naming sense.
