Tang Ling finished his breakfast and then went out.

This time, he needed to deal with this rich b.a.s.t.a.r.d. Kan Hugu, he knew that second-generation b.a.s.t.a.r.ds were all arrogant and the slightest offence was harsh. This time, it was a lowest-tier a.s.sa.s.sin, maybe the next time it would be a higher tier or even he would attack his sister.

The search of his section wasn't long, Kan Hugu was notorious in the city for his hara.s.sing. His activities were mostly in the Middle District. It was more easier to find his house, in a huge stone plate were written : KAN.

Tang Ling then took the black cloak that the killer gave out. It was still 7:30, there were still shadows in some corners...

Tang Ling used his boosted strength to jump over the 2m wall and ran to the shade of a tree before crawling at the side of the house.

As Han Kugu's family wasn't rich enough to a bodyguard, Tang Ling could easily sneak in and went undetected.

The windows were open and flashy, it was summer and the temperature was 15 Celsius. For these rich people, it was too hot. Tang Ling convienly entered the house and swiftly hid under the stairs. The cloak provided additional cover as it could mistaken for an object.

As he waited a perfect opportunity, he heard a conversation between servants. Servants in middle-cla.s.ses families were usually people from the slums that they picked to do the house ch.o.r.es for food and clothes.

"Young Master Kan seems a little strange"

"Yeah, I'm a little worried, if anything come to Young Master..."

"Well, we could run away too"

But then an another servant came and interrupted them.

"Silence ! Young Master is just upstairs of you ! What if he could hear you ?"

"Hiii !"

These words scared the two servants and immediately after, they ran away to do their work.

After two minutes of making sure that there were no one, Tang Ling climbed the stairs and stood by a door. From the servants discussion, Kan Hugu was in the second floor.

Tang Ling looked carefully the second floor, it was large corridor with five rooms. Rich families naturally had more but the Kan Family didn't have the money to get a larger house. He went close to each doors and tried to hear something that would indicate Kan Hugu's position. There weren't any sounds in the first, second, third room

At the fourth door, he could hear some noises but no voices so he couldn't determine if it's the young master or not. He headed to the fifth room but could hear nothing. Thus, it was decided that Kan Hugu was in the fourth room. Tang Ling quietly knocked the door, to see if it was really him.

"Why are you here ?" the voice was really familiar : it was really Kan Hugu !

Tang Ling copied the typical servant A voice and said : "I'm here to deliver some fruits."

"Ok." said Kan Hugu while Tang Ling sighed in relief. He was lucky that this second generation kid doesn't give a sh** about servants or the likes, at least cared less than the average rich kid.

Indeed, Kan Hugu didn't give a s.h.i.+t about servants he felt that these people were all the same and didn't even bother to memorize their faces.

The door opened and Tang Ling immediately readied his gun and pointed at the dazed young master.

"You..." Kan Hugu was shocked but then panicked : "Wait... wait ! I can gi.."

Tang Ling didn't even let Kan Hugu finish his words as he fired the shot on the head.

BAM !

The young master head exploded in two. Not literally, but the burst of power created a fountain of blood from the little hole.

'Hypocrite, you thought that I don't know your machinations ?' thought Tang Ling. Of course he knew what Kan Hugu wanted to offer. Money, he estimated about 1000-1500 credits. It was more than Fatty Dong gave him but he also knew that he would have his revenge. Life was still better than money right ?

... This Kan Hugu was truly weak. He somehow had the feeling that it was only by graces of the System that multiplied Kan Hugu experience to get 1 EXP...

After finis.h.i.+ng his crime, Tang Ling removed the bloodied robe and then left it in the sewers. This was how slummers (the capable ones) had to deal with the Important cla.s.ses, ranging to hara.s.sment to steal to murder.

Tang Ling looked at his smartphone : 10 o'clock. He needed to run; the school was about an hour of walk to get here. Tang Ling rushed to the school at full speed, it only took 30 minutes to come in school.

Why did he rush in the school if he had time ? The reason was simple : the graduation ceremony wasn't the most important in the school but rather the Orderers Ceremony.

"Huff... Huff... It's d.a.m.n exhausting !" muttered Tang Ling. At least, he was sure that he wasn't late.

"Tang Ling !" he saw Fatty Dong waving at him like an excited child. Tang Ling waved at him back and went to sit on his place.

20 minutes later, the graduation ceremony began. The ceremony was simple, for ones who donated more than 5000 credits to school, they would get a personal ceremony where the teacher would give him/her a certificate and blablabla... As for the others, their name would be written in the screen and they would get their certificate after the ceremony.

It only pa.s.sed 30 minutes before every rich kids pa.s.sed the ceremony and the poor students received their graduations.

Now, it was time for the Orderers Ceremony.

The Orderers Ceremony was even more important than the graduation. Every students were required to partic.i.p.ate as a spectator.

The goal of this event was simple : Present the Orderers. But the importance and money invested in it was huge.

Orderers. Everyone knew that they protected the world from monsters and were granted power to do so but they are so rare that there were only 2 orderers protecting this city.

Orderers were so rare that sometimes there were simply no one in two year. There was even a case that a city didn't have any Orderers for 10 years !

10 years ! Despite the Empire giving a slight attention to this matter and the City itself renting a Protector, this caused continuous attacks to the city; out of 49 attacks that they suffered, 25 were in this time period ! It showed how an Orderer was important !

"Orderers are honoured defenders of this realm. They have superpowers bestowed by heavens to protect their citizens..." the Headmaster Leo started his ramblings about how great the Orderers are.

Just as Tang Ling was tired of the Headmaster's speech, he stopped and presented the newly awakened Orderers.

"I will now present you the prides of Bao Feng School !" exclaimed Headmaster.

Five students stepped forwards.

"Benjamin, Jessica, Seha, Samuel and Jane !"

Every time, it was the same. The soon to-be Orderers would always be n.o.bles.

In this city, the people who will become Orderers were separated in two categories : ones who has a trash-talent but use a ma.s.sive amount of elixirs or ones who have a certain degree of talent and use some secret medicines to awaken as an Orderer.
