Huo Jinchen handed her a gla.s.s of milk, “Don't dwell on that for now, drink your milk.”

Lu Xingzhi frowned, "I'm all grown up, I don't need to drink milk anymore! I won't grow any taller anyway.”

"Be a good girl, I'll change your milk to yogurt."

Lu Xingzhi finished the yogurt, ate a piece of toast and stopped. She sat there obediently and waited for Huo Jinchen.

“Why aren't you eating?”

“I'm going to eat less. I've gained three pounds.” Lu Xingzhi found it hard to accept this fact, she has never gained weight before.

Since returning with Huo Jinchen for the summer vacation, she has gained weight when obviously it's the season to get thin.

“My pants are now tighter.” It usually doesn't feel much in a skirt. But, she totally felt like it once she put on her jeans.

“Nonsense! Go cook your madam a bowl of wonton and bring it over.” Huo Jinchen ordered. So that's why he hasn't seen Lu Xingzhi eating wontons lately. She usually likes to eat fresh meat and shrimp wonton.

“I'm not eating.” Lu Xingzhi shook her head.

“It's okay, go prepare and I'll eat it.” Huo Jinchen took a sip of his coffee and put on the waiting stance.

Once the wonton was done, Lu Xingzhi caught a sniff of the aroma and salivated.

She knew nothing about the origin of their chef, but his wontons are delicious. Savory and tender.

Huo Jinchen deliberately stirred the wonton in front of Lu Xingzhi, and once the aroma spread stronger and stronger, he took a bite, “Today's wonton is extraordinarily scrumptious for some reason.”

“Really?” Lu Xingzhi hadn't eaten enough in the first place, and her stomach churned in craving.

“Um, wanna try?” Huo Jinchen used a spoon and delivered a mouthful to Lu Xingzhi's mouth.

Since it's already in front of her mouth, if she were to refuse, Lu Xingzhi felt it too disrespectful, so she opened her mouth wide.

“Delicious?” Huo Jinchen asked.

“Yum.”

Huo Jinchen pushed the bowl of wonton in front of her, "Eat it all if it's good. I'm not fond  of this. You're too young to lose weight, you should be eating more.”

“You really are getting old. Only elders will find fault in youngsters wanting to be thin.” Muttering, Lu Xingzhi still ate the wonton.

It's truly ambrosial.

Huo Jinchen: “…”

Does she still think that he's old?

After eating breakfast, the two took a short break before preparing to go out.

The personnel of the magazine had contacted her last night. And early this morning, they sent her the address again.

It was a short drive, and they reached the designated cafe in no time at all.

When Lu Xingzhi arrived, her interviewer was already there.

“h.e.l.lo, are you the reporter from Red Sun Magazine?”

Looking at her, the magazine staff exchanged glances. They were a bit rattled at first and failed to respond. They're here to interview the national liberal arts champion. Who is this drop-dead gorgeous girl? They said nothing about interviewing a star!

 Besides, they're not in charge of entertainment news!

“I'm Lu Xingzhi.” With no response forthcoming, Lu Xingzhi introduced herself again.

“Lu Xingzhi?” Both the reporter and photographer couldn't believe their eyes. They had visited her school before. Her photo was posted on the student representative wall, but they merely took it as a beautifully photoshopped photo.

Who can tell them that the real person isn't half as beautiful as the photo?

No wonder the school princ.i.p.al said she wouldn't let them down.

“I must be mistaken.” Lu Xingzhi touched her ears. She was about to apologize and leave when someone finally regained her voice.
