108 Wang Tianshan

"Meh, we should be there soon enough I guess." Simon casually glanced at Blue before going back to blankly staring in front of himself.

"Anyways, is Cultivation in this world like the usual Xianxia standard?"

"Yep. Same as everything you said earlier about realms." Simon plainly answered,

"What about techniques?"

"Body arts, weapon arts, fist arts, movement arts, palm arts, cultivation techniques, and Special arts. That's really all there is to it. Unfortunately, I have only covered weapon arts, body arts, and movement arts. I will need some time to develop new ones to fit my needs." Simon sighed.

"So what are you practicing then?" At this point, Blue was just bored and could only ask questions. Rather than scratching an itch, he would keep his mind thinking.

"Golden Tyrant  Art, Wraith's Talons Art, and the Deceptive Displacement Art. I created them all myself."

"You can create techniques? How good are they?"

"Well, I spent like an hour yesterday thinking up if I could universalise some techniques, and I ended up with those three. They can basically work anywhere."

"How do you know that?"

"Hmmm…"

"Well, I can just rename them into something else if I need to. That makes them universal." Simon shrugged his shoulders and gave a bored expression.

"Well truth be told, this is child's play for me. I know technique creation from the inside out. Every world plays by the same concepts, just in different words."

"Wow, so profound." Blue smirked somewhat mockingly.

"Ah, we are here now!" Simon abruptly stopped moving and pointed towards a large clearing in front of them. Hidden within the large forest, was such a beautiful place.

Who would have thought that they would just happen to find an obvious spot for a scene to take place.

"Blue, I don't see anyone there. What are we going to do? You know this more than me even though I am the one that gave you this mission."

"The protagonist of the story starts off as an outer disciple of the famed Profound Jade Sect. As a person of average talent, other disciples tended to bully him for his cultivation resources. Because of this scene that we will witness soon enough, the protagonist will come to realise that he only has himself to blame for his apparent weakness. This leads to the protagonist training so hard that he becomes a peerless disciple." Simon calmly explained.

In reality, Simon just wanted to observe what his story looked like in real life. Whatever happened would not really be too important to him, he only needed to find some resources to break though and then rescue the vice-leader.

"Oh look, someone is coming out of the thicket over there." Blue pointed at the figure of a young man.

The young man looked like a supermodel from earth, bearing flawless skin and an unmatched complexion. Such a man could not be found just anywhere.

"Give me a second, I am going to invent a Cultivation technique. I just need a moment." Simon stopped paying attention to the scene and began meditating.

"The guy is lying on the gra.s.s now. I don't see any sign of bullies though. This doesn't seem right… When do the bullies arrive? I want to see action, this trip has been boring enough as it is." Blue pouted and crossed his arms menacingly.

"Done, this should be good enough until I have time tonight." Simon began glowing a scarlet red aura as he continued to meditate.

Ding

[Achieved Core formation 3rd layer]

'Wow, the system even converted to the local cla.s.sification.'

"Did you literally just breakthrough from hardly a second of cultivation?" Blue's face became deadpan.

"Yes. This is completely normal. It becomes much harder at the later stages. But with this pace, it would still be quite a stretch to break through the Immortal stage. Cultivation isn't like clicking your fingers and breaking through."

"..."

"You literally just broke through in less than a minute." Blue's face held an incredibly ugly expression.

"What stage are you at?" Simon asked.

"Core Formation 2nd layer."

"I will figure something out for you later, partner." Simon flicked Blue in the forehead playfully as he grinned warmly.

BADUMP

"Owww!" Blue made a delayed shout after feeling a pulse in his heart.

'I am straight dammit!' He internally screamed.

BOOM

A heavy pressure came down from behind the both of them, emanating a strong aura of profoundness.

"Grey, is this supposed to happen?" Blue did not dare to look behind him.

"Core Formation cultivators at barely the age of adulthood? Where did you come from?" An old and mysterious voice asked.

"Don't mind us… we are just wandering cultivators that happened to be taking a relaxing break over here. Cultivation is hard, you know?" Simon tried to casually wave the figure off.

"Do not try to wave me off. I am an immortal of boundless strength."

'Well f**k.' Simon and Blue had the same thoughts.

"I am w.a.n.g Tianshan, May I know your names?"

"Oh, I am Hui Ge Dong, this man over here is my younger cousin, Tian Hei Dong. Our fathers are from different families, but we are still very close." Simon attempted to create fake names for Blue and himself.

'Hui-Ge Dong? Huh? Mine sounds even weirder. Tian-He Dong…' Blue could not help but think something was not right.

'Something is definitely not right with these names, but I just can't figure it out!' Blue became perplexed like a man doing a crossword puzzle.

"Straightforward. I sense no ill intent in any of you so I can sense you must not be lying. I happened to have noticed you while I was cultivating in the forest, it just so happens that I am the ancestor of a very powerful sect. I don't usually see many youngsters with your level of talent, I believe that both of you can become Immortal experts under my guidance. What do you say?" w.a.n.g Tianshan immediately extended an offer of disciples.h.i.+p to the two.

"What stage are you at, first of all?" Blue asked with a face of weariness.

"Hah! I am of the Immortal Warrior Stage! Not something that Core Formation juniors can understand just yet." w.a.n.g Tianshan suddenly posed with an aura of swagger as he flexed his immense cultivation.

'This guy has a lot of character.' Blue remarked in his head.

"Oh I also forgot to tell you something, this place is bigger than you can possibly imagine."

Simon forgot to tell Blue that there were many powerful experts above the Immortal Stage and information could not be acquired by just anyone. Perhaps this is why Blue only thought there was a limit to Immortal Stage in this world.

'Originally, this guy is supposed to show up halfway through the story and take the protagonist as his first disciple in 1000 years. This dude is powerful alright, his strength and resources dwarf almost everything I had back in h.e.l.l.'

"So what do you say? I am an impatient man, wors.h.i.+p me as your master before it's too late."

"As if we would ever worsh-"

Simon immediately knelt on the floor a kowtowed.

"Disciple greets master!"

"..." Blue's face became deadpan.

"Excellent!"

"Me too." Blue did the exact same thing.

"Excellent!!"

"From now on, you two will be my sole disciples. Here's two jade slips!" w.a.n.g Tianshan grabbed two jade slips from a ring and threw them at Simon and Blue's faces."

KACHA

Simon caught his slip with ease, but Blue was left with a red mark on his face.

"You will need those to access the Divine Tempest Sect." w.a.n.g Tianshan briefly explained without even telling them about the sect.

"Here's two special arts too, I don't want my new disciples to die!" w.a.n.g Tianshan snorted and slapped both of their backs vigorously as he handed out more stuff.

"The l.u.s.ty Spirit Beast Maid." Simon read out.

"WRONG ONE!!" Want Tianshan immediately grabbed another technique and replaced it.

"Divine Tempest Art? This looks cool." Simon smiled.

"I got the Profound Storm Art." Blue read out.

"You see, becoming my disciples is the greatest thing you could ever imagine!"

"Why do you even want us as disciples?" Blue asked.

"Both of you are at Core Formation at the age of 18! That is heaven-defying! Hmmph! If I let anyone else take you two as their disciples, my name would not be w.a.n.g Tianshan!" w.a.n.g Tianshan crossed his arms and shouted pa.s.sionately.

"We don't even know you…"

"Too late for that now! Master for a day is a father for life."

Simon turned back to the clearing.

"That kid is dead." Simon plainly spoke.

"Your shouting popped his eardrums." Simon face-palmed and sat down.

"What?" Blue seemed surprised.

"Nevermind, lets go."
