Soldiers began to thrust long spears into the monsters on the ground. Some pretended to be dead but those were soon killed before they could jump up to attack.

"It's good that we gathered the strongest ones here," Jinpok said with a smile. All of the soldiers here were elites. They were the forces that Jinpok himself trained for this very expedition.

"Commander. The central and southern armies are advancing towards the eastern and southern sea area. They are battling their way through, which is taking some time, but they are advancing while eradicating the entire monster population on their way as ordered, sir."

A messenger ran up to them and reported while they were resting.

"Okay. Any other news?"

"We have not found any survivors as of yet. It seems that they will not show themselves easily as danger lurks everywhere. The construction team has started building a defensive fortress at the 1st location. The southern army reports that swampland and a large frog-shaped monster is slowing them down."

The landscape of Earth had changed drastically due to natural disasters. j.a.pan had long since sunk into the sea, leaving only a vast ocean in its place. The Korean peninsula, together with a large chunk of Chinese land, was broken off from the mainland and was now an island in the sea.

This was actually welcoming news to the army. At least the Korean peninsula was now an island that could be cleared to create a safe haven.

The forest began to shake. Just as humans gained experience fighting against monsters, monsters too had gained experience fighting humans. These monsters had twenty years of experience hunting down humans.

"So, the construction team has already started."

Joonb.u.m commented casually as he saw soldiers moving to prepare. Their army was advancing towards the north so that they would take over Seoul and then advance further. They needed to set up their headquarters as the base for their operations.

"It will be slow for now, but we will be able to advance quickly soon."
