On way to the office, the driver said, "Young miss if it is okay, may I say something to you." He feared that she would shout at him but he took his chances.

Feng Xinying looked at him and said, "Yes, tell me."

The driver was shocked that the girl who had been so rude to her servants would talk to him. In a very low voice he said, "Young miss last time master had not only fired but made sure that the driver who left you at the airport never gets a job in the city. He was made to leave the city and go to his village. Over there no one was allowed to hire him for any job. His wife worked and they are living a very tough life. Young miss, please don't leave the city again…" said the driver sadly.

Feng Xinying felt as if she had wronged a man who wasn't even closely a.s.sociated with her anger. "Can I help them?" she asked.

"Young miss, I don't think they will ever come to this city again…" replied the driver making her feel sadder.

They arrived at the office in half an hour and Feng Xinying entered the building. She walked across the marble floor as she looked around. The last time she had come there was when she was eighteen. Everything had changed. The décor was more stylish now and the girls that moved around the office looked smart and confident. Some of them had dressed in tight clothes showing off their curves.

She walked to the reception and said, "Can I see Mr. Xie Yuansheng?"

The receptionist looked at her with amused look in her eyes and said, "I am sorry miss, but you just go and meet the CEO like that. Do you have an appointment?"

Feng Xinying gritted her teeth. She was considered as an outcast in her company. But she had refrained from getting angry and said, "I am Feng Xinying. If you will tell him that I am here, I am sure he will call me to his office."

The receptionist was new and didn't know anything about Feng Xinying. She measured her from top to bottom and said, "Miss there are many fine young ladies who would want to meet our rich and handsome boss, but I am sorry this is not the way to meet him. Unless you have an appointment, you cannot meet him."

Exasperated, she turned around. Even if she had mentioned that she was Feng Zhantian's daughter, that girl would have given another sarcastic remark. She thought that she would meet him in the evening today. She started walking out when she saw some commotion a few meters away from her.

She focused at the cynosure of the storm and saw that Xie Yuansheng was standing right there looking at her.

His aura was so cold that she gulped. She had come to meet him but now she wanted to run away. Towering above most men, he s.h.i.+ned amongst them. His handsome features were making both men and women swoon at him. Girls vied for his attention while men stood there around him like bee. Brown eyes with slightly brown hair, he was standing out amongst all. The girls looked at him with baited breath. It was very difficult to get hold of a person like Xie Yuansheng and he rarely ever showed himself during that time of the day in the reception area but at that moment they were all not only surprised but awed by his charismatic presence.

Feng Xinying stood there staring at him. He was there, yet to be seen and not to be touched. She saw that he was walking towards her.

The receptionist who had rebuked Feng Xinying ran out of her place and went in front of her. She was scared that she would get a scolding for letting an intruder in the company. "Good morning sir. It such a pleasant surprise to see you here," she said a little scared and charmed by him at the same time.

Xie Yuansheng gave her a cold stare and she cringed. She stepped aside. How dare she talked to the CEO of the company?

Xie Yuansheng looked at Feng Xinying and said, "Feng Xinying, please accompany me to my office."
