Xie Yuansheng and Feng Xinying had together worked on the entire towns.h.i.+p project. They knew that Lim Chuen would definitely meddle into something as big as this and so they had to create an illusion in front of him that Xie Yuansheng was interested in buying a land that was being auctioned by the government. It all started one day when Feng Xinying was going to meet Keira, when on her way she was looking at the beautiful scenery outside the car. As the car drove, she saw that there were very beautiful hillocks on the way and wondered how it must be for kings and queens to build their citadels atop the hills or mountains and suddenly she got an idea of making a towns.h.i.+p there. 

Xie Yuansheng was actually looking for such projects and he had already approved the towns.h.i.+p project. In fact he was also thinking of bidding for the government auctioned land that his people had found out about. When Feng Xinying came back home that day, she talked to Xie Yuansheng about her vision. Xie Yuansheng was very impressed and the first thing he did was to find out whether the land was a forest land or whether it was privately owned. To his surprise, all that land was owned by a man who was more than happy to sell it off. 

The deal was a very hush-hush affair. Feng Xinying had been closely a.s.sociated with the architect to create the blueprints for construction. At first Xie Yuansheng thought of making flats also over, however later Feng Xinying convinced him to just make bungalows. The idea was a hit because Feng Xinying had conducted a lot of research in it. Within two weeks the entire area was sold and it overbooked. People were waiting that if anyone would cancel, they would take. Some had even offered twice the amount to buy it. 

So while Xie Yuansheng sent Lim Chuen on a wild goose chase, he did things quietly. 

Lim Chuen was discharged from the hospital after a week. He joined the office in the next week and as soon as he joined the hospital, he went to meet Xie Yuansheng. That day Xie Yuansheng did not hesitate to meet him because he knew that Lim Chuen had suffered a heart attack and he didn't want to increase his anxiety by making him wait. 

Lim Chuen confronted him and lashed at him, "Xie Yuansheng, you kept me in a blind over The Golden City project. You said that you wanted to invest into the towns.h.i.+p that I was going to make and like a dog you went quietly to make your own towns.h.i.+p. You made me invest three billion into a land that is useless. You tricked me. That place needs an investment of twenty billion. From where will I get money? You have ditched me, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Now you have to take responsibility for me and invest in that land!" 

Xie Yuansheng tilted his head and said, "Why do you think I will invest in that land? And why do you think that I tricked you? I am under no obligation to tell you everything that is not going in on the Feng Conglomerate." 

"What do you mean?" asked Lim Chuen, his eyes wide with shock.

"What I mean is very simple. The Golden City is a project started by my wife, Feng Xinyin and it is in her name. Why should I go around telling what my wife is doing? My wife is the owner of Feng Conglomerate, and she can do whatever she wants. That towns.h.i.+p is under a different company that belongs to Feng Conglomerate and you do not have hold over it." 

Lim Chuen is mad. "You b.a.s.t.a.r.d! You lied to me that you wanted to start a towns.h.i.+p. Now you have to give me share in that towns.h.i.+p or help me build that land!" 

"I am sorry, but Feng Xinying is the solo owner of that towns.h.i.+p. She hasn't got any partners. As for me, if my wife has already working on a project like that, why would I go for another one?" replied Xie Yuansheng very coldly. 

"I am ruined!" said Li Chuen. He understood that no matter what, Xie Yuansheng would never yield to his demands. He got up from his sofa and left the office with a heavy heart. Three billion was a large amount that he had invested and it was all his money. 

Meanwhile, when Lim Chuen was in the hospital, the board meeting was called for pa.s.sing the resolution to convert the company back into private limited. The resolution was pa.s.sed smoothly. The proposal was sent to the securities commission, which had given the company a period of three months to complete the process of buying back all the shares from the market. Also the commission had issued a notice to all the major shareholders not to sell their shares during this period.  Lim Chuen could not do anything now. 

There was a news in the market that one of Lim Chuen's companies were being sold off to cover the losses the company was suffering from. 

Lim Chuen had become depressed. One day, in rage he threw down everything in his room and said, "Feng Xinying, it is time you meet your fate." 

During the day when bidding took place, Feng Xinying had gone to meet her aunts. She was very happy that they had invited her for the first time to their place. She was extremely eager to meet all her cousins whom she had met when she was a child. Her father would often visit his sisters. Actually they were Feng Zhantian's step sisters. His father had tried his best to bring them home, but Feng Zhantian's mother was dead against that. Feng Zhantian would visit them sometimes when he grew older and found that they were very amiable. When his wife died, he used to take Feng Xinying there to play with her cousins. 

Little did Feng Xinying realize that was in for another adventure of her life when she reached there.
