34 Expensive Purchases

Unfortunately, not all of them found a happy ending.

Only Jacob and Olivia's mother was found hiding in her office and her husband already turned to a zombie trying to protect her, including Isaac's wife and his parents who managed to barricade themselves inside their house and lastly James who managed to saved his pregnant wife from getting bitten by his turned neighbors who was managed to make their way inside their home.

Coincidence or not, this people actually leave in the same neighbourhood but because of the distance between their houses that they really didn't know that they were living in the same community until today.

While the others are happy, some are also sad and crying because of their lost.

Leo just looked at them and didn't say anything. He thought that he would probably be like them if he also lost his loved ones and was thankful at the same time that they are alive and well, mostly because of him and his super cheat system.

"Come on! Enough chit-chat and let's go! Dylan and Mark change with James and his wife and go with Isaac to drive the wagon truck instead" Leo clapped loudly to get their attention and all of them immediately followed his orders no matter what they're currently feeling.

And then, a motorcade of a tank, a hummer and lastly a six-wheeler wagon truck made their way outside the community as they entered a main road heading outside the city.

Standing atop the tank and holding something to prevent himself from falling off, Leo was smiling ear to ear as he looked at the large number in his Inventory.

[Sterling: £5,829,975] [Defender Coins: 450,387]

"Oh~yeah!" Leo screamed in bliss on his mind.

Leo immediately opened the system interface and selected the Stronghold Blueprints, immediately purchasing one Level 2 Blueprint costing One thousand five hundred defender coins each and one Level 3 Blueprint for Two thousand five hundred defender coins but just as he was about to click on the "purchase" b.u.t.ton for the Level 4 Blueprint, he was shocked to find out that one would fetch for a price of fifty thousand defender coins and when he went to see how much is a Level 5 Blueprint, it was like his soul just left his body when he its price.

"What!? A whopping One Hundred Thousand for one!?" Leo bellowed in vexation, not even caring the weird looks being directed at him.

The people who heard him howling in rage, looked shocked and with confused looks but they people who had been with for a bit longer was otherwise shocked, worried and confused at the same time as they thought "I wonder what happened for Boss/Him for him to suddenly just roar with rage out of nowhere and what did he mean by one hundred thousand?" while those who recently just joined thought "What's with him? I heard that he was really powerful and had never lose his composure even in the face of hundreds of those "monsters" or so they said, probably because he has that Armor that looks powerful and domineering" confused and a bit doubtful.

Leo immediately calmed down and went to looked at their descriptions and only then did he get it of why they are so expensive.

"This improvements are freaking insane but the requirements is too costly!" Leo gasped in surprise.

"d.a.m.n, so this is why they are so freaking expensive! For now, I won't buy one for now" Leo smiled bitterly as he really want to shoot towards Level 5 Stronghold immediately.

After that, Leo just went to purchased all the requirements for building the Stronghold to Level 3 which costed him exactly seventy thousand defender coins.

Leo then went back and looked at the Armor Suits section as it showed him a variety of Armors.

[Exoskeleton Armor] - a wearable mobile machine that allow for limb movement with increased strength and endurance.]

[Ratnik Exoskeleton] - the very first exquisite exoskeleton armor developed by the Russian Military, can stop any bullets up to 39mm.]

[Stalker Cla.s.s Armor] - offers a vast array of hunter-tracker field improvements.

[Soldier Cla.s.s Armor] - an Armor designed for infantry units.

[Mark VI Armor] - designed and deployed for Elite Soldiers.

"So cool!" Leo exclaimed with amazement as he saw a lot of different armors with their own specialties.

"There's even Armor for infantry unit" Leo looked at every single one of them with s.h.i.+ning eyes.

But when he saw the price for the one of them made his eyes bulged out in surprised "100,000 Coins for a Mark VI? Even the cheapest Ratnik Exoskeleton cost 20,000 coins! This is madness, a scam!" Leo's dream of creating an army of Super Soldiers shattered in a blink of an eye.

"So expensive!" Leo bit his lips in exasperation.

"Nevermind, I'll just buy some firearms and vehicles then" Leo sighed and just closed the section and opened the Military Vehicles.

"Finally! Something that use 'real money'!" Leo said with a bit of sarcasm.

[Main Battle Tank] - £5,000,000

[Stryker ICV] - £1,000,000

[LAV-25] - £1,500,000

[M58 Wolf] - £800,000

[Frigate] - 100,000,000 DC

"Now, this is….awesome!" Leo said in glee.

"Buy, buy, buy" Leo muttered under his breath as he repeatedly pressed the purchase b.u.t.ton.

"Alright, now I finally have a proper army vehicle for my future armed forces" Leo thought happily while thinking of the day where he has a large army, all equipped with high-tech military technologies, a gathering of elite soldiers.

Leo also bought a lot of things for the Stronghold, melee weapons because he didn't want to distribute a lot of firearms for the time being.

Leo and the the group also went and raided a couple of supermarkets, lumber yards, supermarkets that sells metals for construction, with the six-wheeler truck almost brimmed full while Leo just put all the rest into his Inventory before they made their way out of the city and headed to their next destination.

Hope Woodland.
