I changed around some stuff in my story, mainly walked back on my decision to kill Lux, so she's alive and well.

- Iris still 'died' but takes no issue with Lux for it.

- What happened to Alice still happened, and Terra is not really happy about it.

"You never answered my earlier question."

Cruising out of the elven territory inside the Stinger Dax was busy planning out future plans for his forces and allocating the new resources ICI was busy salvaging when Lilly broke the silence.

"What, sorry?"

"What is this craft? I've never seen or heard of anything like this."

Looking nervously around the inside of the Stinger Dax realized that he had never really explained where he was from.

"Ah, yeah I'm not from this world."

"Yeah I've noticed that."

Not accepting that short explanation as a satisfactory answer Lilly waited while looking slightly annoyed at Dax.

"Okay then… I'm from a word where it is normal to travel between stars and planets like taking a boat from one island to another. In that kind of world a lot of forces compete for power and resources and I am an instrument of one of those forces to enact their will."

"And now this instrument is lost in a strange world and is looking for its way home?"

Quickly catching on what Dax was trying to say Lilly showed a smug expression.

"Exactly."

"So this is one of the 'boats' that take people from world to world?"

"More like a tiny short range landing craft, but you get the general idea."

Looking around with her extremly mana sensitive eyes Lilly seemed confused whens she started looking closer at the Stinger.

Looking at Lilly that looked just as confused as Zephyr after that explanation before forming a large smile before speaking again.

"It's magic."

Putting on a smug smile Lilly looked forward to being out of the strange craft while glancing out at the orange clouds that they were currently surrounded by.

As Lux was standing ready to receive Dax as he returned to Kingstead after a little while Lux was quite nervous, although that didn't show at all on her face. Lux wore a simple white habit business suit that showed off her slim and fit body that had been hardened by years of training and fighting in one of the most elite militaries of the Galactic Empire. After a somewhat rough introduction Dax lead them all to his compound where they meet up with Terra that was just wrapping up her training.

"Welcome back Dax, I see we have guests."

"Yeah, Lilly and Zephyr are there names. I'll go say hi to Alice."

Looking somber for a moment before she hid it again behind a smile Terra still completely ignored Lux that also had started acting like she didn't exist.

"Okay, I have some questions after."

Walking into the main house Dax handed his rifle over to a drone before walking up the main stairway to Alice's room.

"Status of the patient?"

[CONDITION UNCHANGED.]

Having entered her room Dax looked at Alice that was still suspended in the gel like see through fluid with small drones floating around her currently in the progress of closing up her chest after having finally healed it fully.

"I see.. Continue monitoring her condition."

After checking all the medical equipment was working and in perfect condition Dax was joined by Terra that looked at Alice as she spoke.

"Are you really going to let her stay here after what she did to Alice and Iris?"

"Yeah, Lux didn't know better at the time, but I believe I've told you that multiple times already."

Sensing that there would be something more to this conversation they had repeated time and time again Dax turned to Terra that looked at Dax like she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"She nearly killed Alice! In fact as you said Alice might never wake up again! And you're okay with that!? Because you raised her she's suddenly worth more than Alice! Is that it!?"

"Are you done shouting in my face? If you have a problem with Lux take that up with her, stop ignoring her like a child and fix the problem with your words, or your fists, I'm sure that Lux is up for both solutions."

Being left behind with those words Terra looked like she swallowed a bitter bug as she walked up to Alice's life support pod and whispered quietly as she touched the gla.s.s.

"I'm sorry, I just have a hard time solving issues like this when you're not around."

"So that is the child that was injured? Dax's so called 'technology' is a amazing being able to keep someone that injured alive."

Suddenly a small elver stood right next to Terra and spoke out in a amazed manner while looking at Alice suspended in the stasis pod.

Not having heard the elver before she spoke up Terra was surprised as she quickly took a step away while drawing a pistol that she pointed at the mysterious visitor.

"Who are you?"

"Oh~ How polite, asking before you straight up try and kill me. I am Lilly, you must be Terra, and that must be Alice, nice to meet you Terra, nice to meet you Alice."

Taking the time to do a slight bow to both Terra and Alice, Terra's aggression lessened slightly when she saw that Lilly meant no harm.

"I understand she was almost killed by Dax's child, that must be problematic for you."

"Don't underestimate my ears child, so what are you going to do about it?"

Not understanding were Lilly was going with her train of thought Terra just looked at her confused.

"To train, like I always do."

Being seen through instantly Terra took a deep breath before explaining herself.

"I am here to work out my problems with Lux."

Showing Dax her detimneration as she awaited her punishment for wanting to start a fight Terra was meet with a moment of silence before Dax started laughing while Lilly groaned loudly.

"See? Terra is not out for blood, you owe me now."

"I-I know stop being so obnoxious already!"

"Nah, I will be extremely obnoxious. I know my people, she just needed a little motivation."

"Okay what the f.u.c.k is going on here?"

Not following along with Dax's enjoyment, Terra temporarily lost all her determination.

"This foolish elver taught you would try and kill Lux in rage but I bet that you would just want to talk it out."

"I see…. So where is Lux?"
