It had been so long since the last time Tsubaki visited her little brother. Satsuki had already knew about the incident. He was in so much rage that it took Ren's hard work in order to stop him from going rampage inside the hospital. Ren was the one who visited Satsuki the other day. Poor her husband. He had to endure much until Satsuki finally calmed down.

"Are these boxes for them?" Ren looked at the boxes stacked on the seat of the car. He was on the way to the company so he decided to drop his wife off the hospital.

"Yes. I made chocolate profiteroles and quiches." Tsubaki tightened the ribbon wrapping the boxes together.

The car stopped at the entrance of the lobby. Both Tsubaki and Ren got off of the car, following by Hibiki and a tall woman dressed in a black suit. The tall woman picked the boxes from the backseat and held them properly.

"Call me whenever you want to go home." Ren stretched out his hands, readjusting the scarf that wrapped around her shoulders. "Hibiki will come to pick you up."

"Okay." Tsubaki smiled. "Don't worry, Kaede is with me. We could hail a cab if necessary. Just focus on your work." She glanced at the tall woman standing behind her.

"Yes, Master. Please be at ease. Nothing will happen to Madam." Kaede said in earnest, trying to rea.s.sure her Master.

"Okay, I'll stop worrying." Ren sighed. Caressing her face, he seemed really reluctant to leave. In the end, he admitted defeat. "You may go now. I might return late today."

"Alright, don't forget to have lunch."

Tsubaki squeezed his hand before turning around to enter the lobby. Kaede followed her from behind. Before she stepped inside the lobby, Tsubaki turned her head slightly and waved at her husband.

Ren sighed, smiling in helplessness. He got into the car once it was clear that Tsubaki had safely entered the hospital. Hibiki restrained himself from smiling after seeing his boss' love struck action.

Tsubaki and Kaede stopped at the nurse station first before heading to Satsuki's private ward. The nurses looked completely elated when they saw the boxes of pastries handed over to them. The head nurse smiled politely as if unaffected with the young nurses' giggles.

"Thank you, Mrs. Fuse. I'm sorry if this is troubling you."

"It's nothing troublesome." Tsubaki shook her head. "I have to thank you for taking care of my brother. Please enjoy these. I'll try to bring another sweets some other time."

"Thank you Mrs. Fuse, we'll enjoy these." The head nurse bowed her head. Tsubaki did the same out of grat.i.tude.

"Thank you Mrs. Fuse!"

"Thank you!"

Tsubaki left them to enjoy the sweets during their break time. She went to Satsuki's ward and found that her brother was watching an old movie. It was a favourite movie of their mother. It had been a long time since the last time she watched it together with her brother.

"Satsuki, I'm here."

"Sis!" Satsuki stood up from the bed and ran towards his sister. He hugged Tsubaki tightly, causing her to cough a few times.

"Hold on! You're squeezing me!"

"Sis! You're here! You're okay!"

"I won't be if you continue hugging me like this... cough!"

"Ops! Sorry..." Satsuki quickly loosening his embrace.

"How are you? Much better than the last time I saw you?" Tsubaki laughed. Both of them took a seat on a couch. Satsuki rolled his eyes and dramatically leaned against the seat.

"I want to be discharged soon! Can't I? It's so boring here," Satsuki vented out his frustration.

"Be good, your brother in-law told me you could be discharged next week. His doctor friend said you've recovered smoothly."

"Really?" Satsuki asked in disbelief. "Brother didn't tell me anything when he called me last night."

"He might want to mess with you. Don't worry, it won't take you long before you leave this hospital."

"Okay... I'll trust you, Sis. Oh... who is she?" Satsuki had just realised that there was another person coming with his sister. He looked up and saw Kaede who was standing beside the door.

"It's Toyama Kaede, my bodyguard."

Tsubaki recalled the day when Ren had insisted for her to have bodyguards. He had brought four bulky men to meet her. He was being anxious and wanted them to follow her wherever they went outside but Tsubaki refused. She just chose Kaede to accompany her. Kaede was one of the female bodyguards working for Fuse Family.

"You just have one bodyguard?" Satsuki stared at Kaede who gave him a smile. "I don't believe Brother would just agree with it. How could you make him agreed?"

Knowing his brother in-law, it was possible for him to have a team of high ranked bodyguards protecting his sister. But his sister said only this woman who would accompany her everywhere?

"He agreed as long as it's a safe place. If I want to go somewhere else which could be crowded with people or someplace unknown to me, I'd agree to his arrangements then."

Besides, Ren had told her that he had ordered two bodyguards to follow her and Kaede anonymously. Ren was still anxious but he still was willing to compromise so Tsubaki just let him be. She understood dangers could befell her in unexpected time and place so having Kaede alone might not be enough. And by having the two bodyguards followed them in shadows, it won't make her feeling suffocated.

"You're truly awesome, Sister." Satsuki raised a thumbs up to Tsubaki. Yes. His sister was the only one who could defeat his brother in-law. His brother in-law was a wife slave, through and through!

"Aiya! Does this mean Ms. Toyama knows how to do a roundhouse kick?" Satsuki eagerly looked at Kaede who was startled with his sudden question.

Tsubaki was speechless. It was so easy to distract her brother's attention.
