All of the 10 abyssal sovereigns had their own trump cards, and they were able to truly draw upon the power of the abyssal plane.

The ball of light that the Black Sovereign had just summoned was the planar core that belonged to her abyssal level.

Each abyssal ruler was the core of their corresponding abyssal level, and if a core were to be destroyed or devoured, then the entire level would be doomed.

However, after attaining the sovereign status, abyssal rulers would be able to draw upon this power, which meant that they could focus all of the energy in their entire abyssal level on themselves. Essentially, she was devouring and absorbing the power of all of her brethren and feeding it to herself.

Why was it that the Spirit Sovereign was able to further elevate his spiritual power from the Divine Origin realm to a higher level during his battle against Gu Yuena? This was precisely because he had also drawn upon the power of his abyssal level at the time, temporarily taking all of the power of the entire Abyssal Spirit Dragon Race for himself.

Taking this measure would allow an abyssal sovereign to instantly enhance their powers drastically, but there was also a very prominent downside, which was that it was impossible to recover from this type of exertion; it would take many years or an enormous amount of life energy for the abyssal plane to recover on its own.

Guan Yue's expression changed slightly at the sight of the impossibly heavy purplish-black ball of light that had been hurled toward him, and he retreated slightly before gripping onto his Sky Crossing Divine Spear with both hands, then made an upward swiping motion.

He appeared to be moving very slowly, but his movements were very calm and steady. The tip of his spear struck the ball of light, and it was diverted up into the sky.

Right at this moment, the Demonic Sovereign returned, and the Dark Heaven Domain appeared. Under the enhancement of the Dark Heaven Domain, the Black Sovereign's aura swelled drastically, and even her planar core began to glow more brightly as it came crashing down again like a shooting star.

Guan Yue's eyes narrowed slightly upon seeing this.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see Dong Zi'an throwing himself at the Demonic Sovereign and the Rising Sun Heavenly Zither struggling to withstand the Dark Heaven Domain.

If he were to make a big move, then it had to be now!

The overall power of both sides was very close, but on a one-on-one basis, the human camp was still at a clear disadvantage.

The death of the Sickle Emperor hadn't managed to shake the foundation of the enemy camp, but if the Rising Sun Heavenly Zither were to be overwhelmed here, then it would be next to impossible for the human camp to attain victory.

"Come!" Guan Yue suddenly roared as his Sky Crossing Divine Spear turned a scorching white color. At the same time, raging flames began to burn over his entire body.

He had just ignited his four-word battle armor! Just like Nan Gongyi, he had ignited his own battle armor without any hesitation, completely unleashing the battle armor's power.

He took a step forward, and it really was as if he had crossed the entire sky as he thrust his Sky Crossing Divine Spear forward in what appeared to be a very slow and steady strike, but was actually as fast as lightning.

A stunned look appeared on Demon Sovereign's face as she appraised the battle from afar.

As soon as those flames were ignited on Guan Yue's body, she was struck by the exact same feeling that she had experienced back when she was making her breakthrough. Furthermore, Guan Yue was making a breakthrough in both his spiritual power and soul power at the same time, which meant that in this instant, Guan Yue was no longer a quasigod; he was now a true god!

The entire process had seemed so simple, as if he had just completed this near impossible breakthrough without actually putting in any effort.

The spear strike that he was unleashing now was his first attack as a true god, and all of his essence, energy, and spirit was concentrated in this single spear strike.

Never did the Black Sovereign think that Guan Yue would be able to unleash an attack like this at this critical juncture, and even Guan Yue himself was in a very profound state.
