Aria was crying the whole time, while Anthony tried to calm her down.

Marion stood guard in front of the operating room. His countenance is weak, but he still refuses to take a rest. He disregards anyone else's existence, only caring about one person- the one inside the room.

It took six hours before the doctor finally went out and told them that her condition is now stable but may take some time before waking up.

After hearing that, Aria and Anthony rushed inside the room, while Marion blacked out.

He was also confined and has slept for one straight day. Sorcha on the other hand is still in coma.

When he woke up, Ryan was beside him. He told him that Sorcha is still in coma. After hearing that, he instantly stood up, and went towards her.

Upon entering her room, he went near her. He just watched her peacefully sleep, without touching her. He looked beside him, and there stood Anthony Barrons.

"Thank you, kid" Anthony said.

Marion stayed silent. 'No, I was late' he said in his mind. He nodded at the general and turned back to leave the room. He can feel his eyes looking at him strangely. He can't imagine what her father thinks about him after the incident.

Before he was about to close the door, he heard the General say, "I can't do anything about your suspension. I am sorry."

That reminded him, he disregarded the order that he should not intervene with the police's job. He even tried to shoot them after. Suspencion is probably the lightest penalty he could get. He was a bit disappointed for his suspension, but he didn't regret it even for a bit.

Besides the fact that Sorcha is safe now, the only thing that makes him glad is that the people who tried to abduct her were captured because of him.

The gunshots Sorcha heard before she pa.s.sed out was from him shooting the men down.

Upon coming back to his room, Ryan was still inside waiting for him. He started to change his clothes. He looked at his friend who obviously have a lot of questions in mind and said, "Help me pay the hospital bill first."

Ryan just sighed and nodded. "You have to tell me everything next time." He said before leaving.
